Looks very similar to something we had hanging about in our shed as a kid. my dad had apparently built it as he Apprentice Piece whilst at technical collage in the '50s. He'd later tried to fit to a model Tug Boat that my cabinet maker grandfather had built, to no success.
Great vid Fred....I’m gonna get me one of them.....I hope you and yours are ok mate...we are soldiering on ...this old coffin dodger has a bit of life left in him yet. Best wishes....Bob

Hello Fred , I hope that your well & that all is good . I just thought that I would mention that a couple of weeks ago i was listening in on ch 19 , there was a conversation between two CB operators discussing about one of the local Brighton CB operators had a visit from Ofcom , the operator had all his cb equipment confiscated by Ofcom , the two operators was also discussing that the cb operator who had their equipment confiscated had not been on air since , one of the operators mentioned that he was a naughty boy , that's all I know , perhaps you could find out further details on the case from some of the Brighton CB operators ? , I guess that it sends out a signal that Ofcom are still very much active .
Hi. Thanks for the info. Ive never heard of Ofcom being active on CB umless operators were interfering with emergency services. Iam sure if this is not fake it will become a hot topic on forums.
The big engines are just fascinating to watch, my cousin has a couple, or had, he keeps changing his engines!

I think it needs a bigger heavier flywheel.
Very keen. Thank you Fred for the demonstration. Hoping you had a nice Easter.
Thanks, you too!
a tip is to run the ignition on 3 volt instead of 4.5. the module will last a lot longer
Great vid Fred !

Why don’t we have big rig trucks running on hit and miss engines?
4 stroke petrol engines were more powerful and had more torque
