preparing for the opening of the new airport.. It is really the limitation of the current airport NAIA (RPLL/MNL) is whats limiting growth for both PAL and CEB
How long do you think something like this takes from conception to planning to completion? Probably around 10 years, and that doesn't solve the problems with the suppliers. It's always easy to say, but in reality it's much more complex
Its not lack of factory space, its lack of suppliers goods. The main one being engines. Seats and interiors are relatively easy to produce in great numbers but engines take Time and care, not so easy to manufacture tech at the very limit.
You better hope the new airports are going to be ready by the time those aircraft arrive cuz the airport congestion is going to get much worse with this. Thankfully, they'll probably be retiring CEO aircraft to replace them with NEOs. Hopefully, by the time they've replaced their fleet and begin adding, the new airports will be open or partially open.

Getting ready for the New Manila International Airport inauguration
MoU = Legally non binding = Hot Air = Financial warm and fuzzy feeling = Stock rising for no real reason
MoUs can be legally binding and is completely up to the parties to make it such (The video also states it was binding)
just this week, Cebu Pacific has already signed the purchase order for 152 aircrafts from Airbus.
Any plans of new routes to Honolulu from Manila or Cebu? Give PAL some competition.
Cebu Pacific might be one of the first successful long haul low cost airlines
I think they should put the “all neo” fleet on hold till at least 2030 given the p&w engine problems.
CEO of Boeing should spend the rest of his life in jail.
The entire Management of Boeing needs to go away, and make way for engineers that focus on product and manufacturing.

Well i guess NAIA is gonna become more congested because of more aircraft.
By the time these orders get delivered, the new airport in Bulacan should be opening.

Why is Cebu Pacific suddenly ordering so many aircraft? What's brewing? Any guesses?
Probably corruption. While Boeing has technical problems, Airbus has political problems.

Need to sort out their current service before more orders.
It would be used for new manila airport so..
To be fair, current service problems stem from the fleet shortages and mandatory groundings
Both Boeing and Airbus seem to have extremely big back logs. When is it right to build another new factory?
That wouldn't solve the supply chain problem.
How long do you think something like this takes from conception to planning to completion? Probably around 10 years, and that doesn't solve the problems with the suppliers. It's always easy to say, but in reality it's much more complex
They need new suppliers. The supply chain is in shambles and there’s a lot of corruption and undercutting resulting in parts recall inducing delays.
Airbus Tianjin assembly line needs less than 3 years to complete.
With 10 - 20 years backlog also suppliers should step up.
