I appreciate the comment someone made to an earlier video about spending a little more for better products. I bought the Travelon Tech and the netting (where it is sewn to the edge), came loose after a couple of days. Feel a little bad about reporting this, but, that's what happened. Thanks!
My favorite one that I've used so far is the Aer Slim Pouch, which is more tech-oriented than the Split Kit shown here. Perfectly fits everything I need, the amount of organization is perfect, stands up beautifully regardless of what's in it.
Good choice, Travis! I'll drop our review below in case anyone wants to check it out. Thanks for the comment! - Austin packhacker.com/travel-gear/thule/subterra-powershuttle/
Shout our for the Side by Side. I thought it might fill out and be a difficult shape to pack away but this has not been the case. I have a mix of computer/tablet items and camera accessories and even with all the cables, dongles and batteries have not need all the pockets and straps.
Thanks for your recommendation. Why not try the EVA cable box. It can help me better organize my charging cables and headphone cables. It is very suitable for travel or business trips.
Hoping you can guide me or review if this exists: Velcro-backed (rip away) tech bag or accessory bag. I want a velcro-backed bag that will attach to other gear or a velcro wall (in my teardrop trailer).
I have the Nomatic Tech Organizer. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but it’s very durable. It keeps all of my cords organized. It’s bulky, but works well.
Overall size similar to the Peak Design. I like to say these don’t know the meaning of the phrase “no, surely that won’t fit!” Hold my juice jar of honey green tea and stand back… 🤪
I like a ton of organization, so of your tested pouches, I like the Side by Side Power Packer. But my personal favorite that I use is Peak Design’s “Travel Line” Tech Pouch. Yes it’s a whopper, and the accordion-style pockets on the inside aren’t for everyone but it easily holds many, MANY gadgets from proprietary cables to an Amazon Kindle in its case to an OWC Thunderbolt / USB4 hub and charger for my MB Air.
Thanks for the comment, David! We appreciate the fact that there are many good options to choose from. Glad you found the style that works well for you! - Austin
I already have a Tech Pouch (Thule Crossover 2 Travel Organizer) for my Powerbank, Charging Cables and Phone Dongles. But i recently bought a small Dell Notebook and i'm looking for a good option to store the Charging Brick, a USB-HUB and a M.2 External SSD Any good recommendations?
@@PackHacker The capacity, the organizational set up, the way it sits, the top access zipper, the way it zips around, the flexibility of the pouch and overall it’s just an awesome pouch!
Travel-on is money. Been using it for 3 years without fail. I would say the only problem is that it will undo itself because it is slippery even if you tight it up.
Hey there! You can fit a pen in the compact but there's no dedicated spot for it. The bigger one has a specific slot to hold a pen. Thanks for the comment! - Austin

If someone needs to pack a tech bag to keep up with all their cords and widgets, that person is probably not the most efficient traveler. Most travelers should be smart enough to only bring a few electronic devices when they travel. I k ow that this does not apply to people who have to carry many electronic devices because of their work. But that is a small percentage of travelers. The idea that ordinary travelers need a tech bag is pretty silly. But such an idea makes folks buy such products before they realize they do not need them. Most of us need such things to store all our cords and small electronic devices in our homes and not when we are traveling.
Do you prefer loops, pockets, or big empty pouches? 📱🤔⬇️
Little pockets!
Pockets for sure

Side By Side Power Packer is amazing btw. Thanks for the tip.
I use the Lowepro GearUp Wrap to fit into my everyday sling which right now is the Alpaka Go Sling Mini.

The Evergoods CAP1 would also serve as a great tech pouch.
Thanks for showing the size differences between the different versions and products!

I have a couple of Bagsmart options that I LOVE. Seems to me there are so many brands and options.
Can we do a pouch video on multi-use pouches? Like makeup?
Hi Jennifer U.! I’ve passed this along to the team. Thanks for the suggestion!

I would still choose Peak Design tech pouch over any of these. Not sure why PD wasn't on this video...

True for a single person but for someone packing for their family like me , things add up quickly.
