I’ve been using the Aer Cable Kit 2 primarily as a small vlog camera bag with other stuff but you convinced me to order the Moment MTW Tech Organizer. Love that 2 in 1 versatility and solid for $50
As usual, a concise and practical review and comparison. I wonder if we're too taken with expensive, over-engineered carry gear. None of the kits reviewed has anything over my MUJI toiletry kit for holding tech gear, and the MUJI is well-made and costs less than US$20. I realize the comparison may not fall under Rushfaster's remit, but when it comes to holding tech gear, toiletry kits are excellent and usually better alternatives.
Thanks for this comp! Wondering if the Moment can hold the MX Mouse AND Mac power block comfortably? I'm looking to move up from the Belroy. My three bulky items are the mouse, power block and airpods.

Great comprehensive review. I'm becoming more sceptical of the use of 'Tech Gear' or Tech' for these reviews as these are fundamentally a bag that has organisational pouches that can be used for anything, from a wash kit, 'tech kit' or traditional Uber-sized pencil case for those that need to organise more.
Very effective descriptions. When I listen to others’ videos, they repeatedly emphasise the appearance of these bags and that is not helpful. Now I am getting closer to a decision and will buy from your site, here.
I think the moment one is the one I like most but the shipping expenses to my country almost doubles its price so I think I will go for the bellroy one
I have not found the perfect one yet... I have the peak design and I use it to store all the cables and items I hardly ever use so I know exactly where to go to find a cable. I wanted something small for travel as I usually just travel with my phone, iPad, sometimes my camera bag along with my partners phone. Been able to get things paired down pretty minimal. For that i have been using the bellroy which I love but there has been a few times where I have found it just a tad small. After seeing the Moment I am wondering if that might actually be the perfect size.
I wanted a pouch that could handle tech for commutes to the office but also some travel items like toiletries or snacks or whatever. I really wanted to get the PD tech pouch to go with my PD bag. It is beautiful like my backpack but it seems so specialized mainly for a bunch small tech items. I went with the evergoods. I dislike how it looks in comparison, I don’t care for the Velcro on the front or the lack of a pen loop. But it seems very versatile and practical based on reviews. I think it would offer a lot of flexibility in terms of what I could carry in it. Just wish PD made the same pouch but with a few less small pockets...
Did you know that Peak Design has a smaller version of their Wash Pouch? I recently purchased one in Sage for shorter trips and now prefer it to the regular Wash Pouch. There is no information or reviews on any website, including their own.
Thule Subterra is what I have been using but I moved away from that to some factory second thing from Crumpler that was more like a chuck it all in it and hope for the best but today with the recent peak sale I pulled the trigger on the peak design tech pouch.
@@RushfasterTV Peak Design compared a lot better it was bigger than most of them, that I have used but it was maybe making me carry to much to where the point I thought I could slim down my kit so I brought the Bellroy and now maybe that's a little too small but who doesn't love a EDC challenge.
just subscribed! great quality. you have managed to convinced me to get the peak design tech pouch. would you know if it fits the mac power block as well as mx master?
Thank you for subscribing and for your kind words! Yes, the Peak Design Tech Pouch is a great choice for organising your tech gear. As for your question, the Tech Pouch can fit the Apple Mac power block, but it might be a tight fit depending on the size. The MX Master can also fit in the Tech Pouch, but it might take up more space compared to smaller items like cables or chargers. Overall, it's a versatile pouch that can accommodate a variety of tech items. - Kez
Hey mate, which tech kit is shown in the thumbnail that can fit my Bose QC 35 headphones. I don’t carry a lot of tech, just some charging cables, battery pack, phone and my noise cancelling headphones. I’d be nice to consolidate all of that in our kit. Thanks
Hi Ed, Good review. The Evergoods are always on backlogged but one I plan on getting. Have the PD one and as you said, great tech pouch but I use it less now because I tend to stuff it and it gets bulky. I went with Boundary Supply Arris tech pouch. Very similar to PD but slimmer profile and it still can still stand on desk. Ordered the Moment one to try it out.
Thanks for the feedback Nomad 24! Yeah too many people are liking Evergoods, they're OOS on almost everything! Let me know how you go with the other Tech Pouches! - Ed
Have had the PD tech pouch for a while, so while I can't use it (only truly useful when travelling personally) until Aussies can fly overseas again, I'll just watch videos about tech pouches instead :D
Totally agree with you Peter. Not much travel going for us at the moment but glad you're enjoying the content nonetheless! Be sure to like and sub! - Ed
Hi Mike! Not on our list yet but we'll put in a request to Ed. However, we do have a couple of backlogs that we're working on at the moment so stay tuned! Thank you! -Rolan
I really dislike the fact that you show these pouches and you dont put prices so we can see. Why would anyone care to buy something if he doesnt know the price of what he wants to buy.

Yes dude! It's a really good deal considering the things you get with that one. Solid stuff from Moment. - Ed

I think you're on to something here. We might focus on minimal tech kits / gear in some videos too.
Great video...I feel like these are the best of the best out of the many tech pouches I've seen. I want at least three of them!
I totally agree! Glad that you liked it! - John
Thanks. I know they expect only guys to but these so everything is black and grey but I would love them to make these in cuter colours.
Great comparison vid. I have both the Peak Design and Evergoods tech pouches and love both for different use cases.
I agree! Both great but different! :)
- Ed
I love these EDC vids, even though I only carry a key, a four-card wallet, and a phone.
Glad that you liked it! - John

We're glad that our video was able to be of help :) Thanks so much for your kind feedback! All the best
Don’t forget the Vera Bradley tech pouch. It has the added benefit of being a nice colour!
I hadn't realised I needed a tech pouch until I watched this video. I've just ordered the one from Peak Design. Many thanks...
Thanks so much!
Thank you for this review! That 2nd pouch seems to be exactly what I'm looking for.

Moment one looks great if it wasn't for the fact no way to use it as a bag by itself. Peak design really did well there

Oh yea! I really HATE when that happens. I was drawn to that too! But It's the "Moment" pouch. If you just re-check the video.

I just subscribed and binge watching!
Great content. Many thanks 👍
Glad you enjoyed it! :)

Would be really useful to have rough price guiding for the products as clicking through each individually is annoying when watching the video
Great idea! thanks for the feedback!
Killin it. Keep up the good work Ed!
Thanks! Will do!
Thanks for the great roundup !
Glad you liked it mate!
- Ed
I like the shout out at the end. Gotta keep it real
Great review Ed - qq, do you know if the Peak Design Tech Pouch fits in that tech compartment of the Bellroy Transit Workpack?
Hey Rushfaster! Great video!
Thanks guys! Your videos are cool too!
- Ed
@@RushfasterTV Haha! Let's collabo sometime

Is they any slings or tech that will fit the Nintendo switch oled
Aer day sling 3 will fit the Nintendo switch. It shows it inside the bag on their website.
Tnx
love it
Will you be making a review of the WANDRD tech pouch?
Hi Mike! Not on our list yet but we'll put in a request to Ed. However, we do have a couple of backlogs that we're working on at the moment so stay tuned! Thank you! -Rolan
Why why why why why nottt available in Bharat, I need it urgently
Can steam deck fit in peak bag?
Sorry, it won't fit. :(
what’s the one in the thumbnail
It's the Moment MTW Tech Organiser:)
A similar but slightly cheaper alternative to the PD tech bag is the STERKMANN tech bag (found on Amazon)
I know amazon basics ripped off the PD design... hopefully its not that one.
Nice video. I find Native Union stuff to be almost too perfect. Check them out if you can. Cheers.
Can any of these pouches carry an IPad mini?
6 Invisible Tech pouch
a tech pouch ...that comes with its own tech pouch inside ? 😜
boom!
is gear the only the only word for gear?
hahah - yes.
Orbitkey Nest ?
Yep! Slightly different type of 'pouch' but nevertheless good for storing tech essentials at the desk!
