Motorcycle Shifts gears up and won't shift gears down

- My bike had the issue of shifting up in gears but did not want to shift down. I found out the issue and explain in the video. hopefully my explanation helps someone with the same problem.

Life saver I haven’t got a clue when it comes to bikes but my clutch cable was stupidly loose after sorting that I didn’t have a clue what was wrong.this videos stopped me walking to work 😂

Damn bro.. I have a KTM duke too and your video helped me.. The service guys were telling me it's something related to clutch.. But then I tightened using the free toolkit I got with the bike and now it runs as new
Thanks mate I was wondering why that was happening now I can fix the gear lever on my bike knowing that it was just the gear lever and not the gear's itself. It really had me worried for a while 😅.
can you tell me what you did to make it work again like before I have the same problem with a keeway rkf 125 2021 I don't know English and now I use a translator I don't understand what he says in the video

I have the exact same problem, it shifts up with no prob but sometimes it just doesn't want to down shift, the gear lever feels disconnected. I'll take a look and keep u updated, hope this is what im dealing with
I can shift down to first but there no shifting up to any other gear besides neutral, I wonder if this could be my issue maybe that part is bolted down to far forward.

Mine, engages all the gears. Up and down, but sometimes they're kinda hard, and also it doesn't engage the neutral whilst is on only when is off.?

You can also switch order of shift
This is a design fault with the 390 KTMs. Ive reached the point where I have to replace the piece. It's reached its Max setting.

Nah. I just did an oil change and switched to synthetic
when i stop the bike in traffic 4th gear to 3rd, 2nd and first gear, bike does not move ahead and bad sounds. Its honda 125 new bike. What may be the solution.
