Hey guys so i ended up on this video because i was searching for solutions to a sticky gear pedal. To find 2nd gear i would have to push up at least twice before it catches. Sometimes i would get lucky and it would shift fine with some extra foot power but idk why its so sticky. Any help?
The shift shaft? It's called that in the parts diagrams, similar (well, identical, but different part numbers), to the 5VL engine used on the YBR125's.
Could be your Shift Star. If you have one of those. The tips of the shift start will grind down over time and can cause false neutrals. Had a GSXR1000 with that issue. It would fall out of 3rd gear into neutral. Was an easy fix!
I want to buy a dirt bike from someone online but he said that the dirt bike is stuck on 1st gear and wont go up so how would i fix it if i buy it and how much would it cost?

Sounds like you have a similar problem, something stuck or broken on the shift mech.

My 2015 yz250 goes into neutral while shifting into 4th gear it happen after I put too much transmission oil in it!!
