why is Jack Cooper joining Apex Legends, based on a scene from the game Titanfall 2 where Kuben Blisk gives Cooper an Apex Predator card. This card now means being invited to join the Apex games, and several characters have joined this way, including Rampart and Battle Creek. However, if Cooper were to join, it would be awkward as he would be playing alongside former IMC soldiers who he fought against, and some who hold personal grudges against him, such as the nephew of one of the six pilots he inadvertently caused the death of. Additionally, he may have conflicts with some of the Legends, such as Ash, who constantly wants to 1v1 him, or Wraith, whom he believes is evil. - Ігри

Bruh not all pilot has the same experience and learning even if every pilots was trained the same way (its all about the experience they felt and made during those times)

Bang has the training, and Valk might have even used a Titan, but thats like comparing Jack after running the Gauntlet to Lastimosa: They know the book not the battlefield. Plus whatever experience Jack might have gotten between end of TF2 campaign and when he joins the Games, he could be a master rank pilot, with or beyond Lastimosa. So TL:DR they have the training but Jack's got the experience and skill
@@9895_ while you have a point, we also don't know how long of a pilot career he had, he could be rusty and a bit old, even with regeneration, you lose memories and skills at the advantage of your age regressing
It would be cool to see an old regenerated pilot in apex though, relearning the skills of the battlefield

The meaning wasn’t changed, it was the card. Cooper’s was one of the few originals, given to those who were skilled enough to join the Apex Predators, the mercenary group, but the ones he give to Valk and Rampart are invitations the Apex games, a sort of trial by fire to join the predators. But Jack may still join the games, by reason of needing to refresh his memory of combat before joining the predators
It also be very interesting seeing everyone’s reactions and interactions with him, seeing as he’s the hero of the frontier, while the outlander are mostly Remnant IMC affiliated
Thank you for pointing this out. I always thought that it wasn’t a retcon because in lore the apex games hadn’t even been thought up until way after the battle of Typhoon. It probably just means that after the apex predators were disbanded they were replaced by the legends ergo the cats is an invite to both.
I don’t know much aside from the campaign of titanfall2 but why would cooper join the apex predators unless something is happening that requires him to go undercover for a bit.
@@ol4414 Coopers been fighting for the frontier his whole life basically, and once the war is over, he might want to join the predators because it’s the only form of stable employment that requires the skills he’s learned during the war

I think it'd be an interesting twist to the game considering that he was against the IMC. Would love to see the discourse between him and bangalore & newcastle, and other legends reacting to the fact that a single rifleman turned to a pilot and single handedly turned the tide of the war with his trusty vanguard class titan BT-7274.
Also would like to see how he remembers the events, and his companion BT-7274 as the battle hardened titan basically was a mentor to Jack as they fought to survive and win the war, along with Jack slowly ascending to become a skilled pilot and a living legend.

I could imagine bang and new castle not necessarily being nice to him. But understanding that it was war and shit happens but still holding a grudge.

Wall running isn't his ability, its bcs he has that pilot helmet thing i belive, maybe gets a defected helmet instead, he could wall run very short distances

With how things have unfolded in Apex, I can see Wraith and Cooper having a friendship. Yes, Wraith would hate his guts at the beginning, but being close together in the games would force them to talk, eventually making Cooper stop thinking Wraith is evil and helping her

Since his titan was destroyed I think it's actually very plausible at this point that he can be added, and it'd be really cool if he could kind of communicate with BT when he has his helmet on

The apex legends card and the apex predator card are supposed to be different.
Okay, here’s the thing everyone looks over though. Sure, Blisk did put the card to invite Coop to the predators on the titan and also had mercy on Coop. However, Coop stood up with BT and the card slid off and onto the ground, it was destroyed with the planet once he destroyed the arc (I think thats it’s name, I forgot). Which means there’s a high possibility that he won’t be in the games. Also I’d be weird to see a bunch of Coopers running around. I was like that when Ash got put in the game, I’ve slightly warmed up to the idea she’s a legend. However, it’s pretty much the same with Coop. It’ll probably won’t be a good idea, especially since there won’t be a good weapon to accompany him.
The data knife, or an exclusive smart pistol style skin would work for coops either way

@@kieranadamson3224 Apex looks like a plasticized anime spin-off that is just derivative enough to try to win people with a few references to Titanfall while also being lackluster and full of microtransactions. I booted up Apex out of curiosity, saw the absurd amount of purchase options and how obviously p2w it was, and uninstalled it. It doesn’t even look good to me in a visual sense. :/
This opinion is coming from someone who loved the shit out of Tf2, has beaten the campaign multiple times on master, and uses Northstar to play multiplayer along with graphics improvement and other non-game-breaking mods to play around with it because of how good the gunplay is.
Seeing another game use the wingman, kraber, Mozambique, etc feels like a rip-off instead of a tribute. Sound design is not nearly as good in the clips I’ve heard whereas in Titanfall 2 every gun sounds punchy.
Tbh, a pilot would be hard to balance in apex. Y'all TF2 player knew what I'm talking about.
