What is MSM exactly? MSM is essentially a naturally occurring solvent and is the biologically active form of the element sulfur. Sulfur is a substance found in the atmosphere, soil, ocean, foods and plants as well as in most all living organisms.
MSM stands for methylsulfonylmethane and is a powder closely related to the liquid solvent DMSO, a widely recognized topical analgesic. Learn about what is MSM is good for and how it can help to provide a natural form of sulfur, a vital component to healthy joints, tendons, ligaments, muscles and collagen formation.

I am a 55 year old female. I began having extreme knee and thigh pain over 6 months ago, ultimately turning in to constant aching and shooting pains in my leg when I went up and down stairs or sometimes just stepping wrong. I am an elementary school teacher so I need to be able to be on my feet and walking around. I would come home in the evening only to have the aching pain intensify when I got off my feet. Sleeping was horrible because the aching was nonstop and the shooting pains would wake me up constantly. I was told to try MSM so I ordered the MSM Pure coarse flakes, desperate for relief but not expecting much. Boy was I wrong! Within 3 days that constant ache was just gone! The shooting pain happens much less frequently. For some reason I just feel uplifted in mood. It may come from being pain free. It was beginning to depress me. I can't say enough about MSM and it will continue to be a part of my daily supplement regimen.

I've taken MSM for about 10 years. I decreased the amount and for the past few months I haven't taken it at all. My energy levels are low and I'm looking old and tired. I take different supplements and thought it was a good idea to cycle msm. Let's just say I won't be making that mistake again. The bad part is I know how good MSM is so why was I dumb enough to stop talking it.😞

@@micaonyx5301 Keep taking MSM. 👍 In addition the following are great for energy: bee pollen, beetroot, chlorella, garlic, ginseng, glutathione (reduced), kelp, maca, pomegranate, resveratrol, shilajit, and spirulina; it's best and much cheaper to take the extract powders of all of them but shilajit. For shilajit do a Google search for _pure shilajit resin._ *Five days on and two days off* is the safest cycling of supplements. 🤓

Why is this not prescribed by doctors as a first solution? It doesn't make money that's why. I hope more people will start to wake up to the fact that their government really doesn't care about their life, liberty, health and property. If they did they wouldn't be the first ones to threaten to take it away. This is just one area that the government demonstrate their complete lack of empathy for people who are suffering, doctors hands have been tired by harmful legislation, and it's heartbreaking.

MSM is not known in Europe: we are intoxicated with Tramadol or we are operated on. Doctors are making money off us, surgeons, and the pharmaceutical industry is getting rid of oxycodone. For my part, I had to be operated on and the chronic pain in my spine kept increasing until it reached my hips due to degenerative disease (disability at the age of 40 only). I took Harpogo, pain killers, meditation, yoga, fitness to tears, a change of diet, and now I've come to this after my research last night! I am furious because I was delivered very quickly and I already feel a little better. So in 12 days, I guess I'll be able to smile again, for real. For my part, highly addictive painkillers whose effects fade over time are a deception because mSM has been known since 1850 and validated by a Chinese study in the early 2000s. It is used for horses and (competition) dogs, so why did you lie to us as you did with chloroquine, which has been working very well in the first place with this pandemic for 80 years? .... The world is walking on its head!

I became disillusioned with my doctor's advice and changed my diet plus started taking MSM (along with many other supplements). My intestinal and kidney problems are gone + my inflammation due to Ankylosing Spondylitis is much reduced. Although it's important to remember it usually feels when toxins and heavy metals leaves the body. Luckily this phase will pass when the body adapts and the dose is set right, takes about 2-3 weeks for me. Worth it in every way, so don't give into fatigue, dizziness, nausea, skin breakouts etc. It will go the complete opposite and positive way in short! 👍

I'm 59 and have no joint pain at all. My partner is a retired career FF that had severe hip pain & now it's gone. It's worth looking into.

I’m currently 47 so I don’t want to slow down quite yet. I started taking MSM and felt the pain relief effects immediately! I highly recommend it. Plus the benefits for hair skin and nails. It’s a total win!

@SuperfoodEvolution: Hello i read the comments and hear James Robert Clark talking about the distillation proces and how it denatures the sulfer content? I looked online and i'm very confused now. Is this true? Is it better to take the crystallized form?? I see this video was made 4 years ago so maybe you have some new information on that? Hope you find the time for this and thank you so much for all your great work i hope you never stop this channel!

Been doing some reading on MSM, and noted two small differences here from my research. I've read in all writings save one, that sulfur is the 7th or 8th most common element in the body, not the third as stated in your video. Also that MSM doesn't actually contain the amino acids methionine and cysteine as stated here. All three compounds do contain sulphur... MSM's benefit is that it's sulphur content spares the breakdown of methionine and cysteine for their sulphur by contributing it's own. Other than these two small points, great summary! 🌱

All I have to say is MSM is a miracle drug, I feel great, have lost 30 lbs...which is hard for a female at my age. I use Doctors Best and put 3 scoops (about 1 tsp) in my bottle of water every morning.

I'm also 49 and started Nov 17, 2023. So far the only thing I've noticed is that im getting these itchy rashes /itchy skin. Im hoping it's just the toxins leaving my body lol. I'm quite inflammatory I think so I have a feeling it's going to take at least 3 months of continued use for me to start to see some health benefit. I'm also terrible at drinking water which makes detoxing harder so I'm trying to be better at that too to help speed this detox process up.
