We started giving MSM to our elderly Cane Corso dogs (under professional guidance) and it made a massive difference to their agility and joint health! It's also great for humans, of course. Fantastic for back pain!
I have polio for seventy two years. In 1996 I came down with post-polio.I have tried many products to relieve my muscle pain. I tried MSM a few years ago and have being using it since. It works great and fast. Its the only pain medication i use.

MSM is the best supplement by far. I started with half teaspoon once a day, then twice a day, then built up to three times a day. It was only then I noticed a big difference in my nails and health. It’s best taken in smaller doses throughout the day, than once a day.
After purchasing MSM for an additive to a hair oil concoction, I was drawn to exploring internal use. Thank you for this video. My takeaway is to combine MSM with a source of vitamin c and to work up to a level of about 2 tsp. I'm going to explore taking a small amount several times before mid-day and go from there.
The best MSM is OptiMSM. The only U.S. made MLM. Very pure made thru a multi-distillation process from DMSO2. Do not use Chinese MSM, which is crystalline and has impurities!
I started taking MSM for my hair growth and I have diverticulitis that I’ve struggled with. That seems to be helping that too so we’ll see thanks for your content.

I stopped taking it for a while after a big move and some extreme life changes, and noticed my hair was thinner than before and my arthritis was acting up again. I remembered this supplement, and now that im back on it everything is better and my hair is growing again lol
Thanks Sage. I’ve been taking 1 teaspoon on & off for a couple of years. Love it. Thanks for the lemon juice tip. What quantity do you suggest for general health? 1 teaspoon daily? Is it ok to take 2 teaspoons or is that overkill? 🤓
Sure, you can definitely take it first thing in the morning. I haven't come across any information to indicate that it would unsafely accumulate as you mention.
Thank you for your question! While MSM is sometimes used in eye drops to support eye health, it’s important to consult with an eye specialist or healthcare provider before using any supplement for cataracts, especially since cataracts often require medical treatment. In addition to medical options, maintaining a diet rich in antioxidants (like vitamins C and E) and considering supplements like lutein and zeaxanthin may support eye health. However, always check with your doctor for personalized advice and the best treatment options for your cataracts. Wishing you the best on your eye health journey!
I first took MSM about 16 years ago, although I'm not regularly taking it right now. I was thinking about it yesterday morning though and will likely start incorporating it again soon. When I take it, I take 1 teaspoon with lemon water. I usually take it in the morning, so I don't know about the alcohol combo 😆 There is some anecdotal evidence to suggest it may increase sensitivity to alcohol, but also that it may help protect against brain damage from alcohol consumption. More research needs to be done to get a clearer picture 😊
It's generally considered safe for most people when taken in appropriate doses, but like any supplement, it can have side effects in some cases. Common mild side effects include: •Digestive issues: Some people report bloating, diarrhea, nausea, or stomach discomfort. •Headaches: Mild headaches can occur, especially when starting MSM. •Allergic reactions: Though rare, some individuals may experience skin rashes or allergic reactions. •Fatigue or Insomnia: Some report feeling unusually tired or, conversely, having trouble sleeping. To minimize side effects, it’s recommended to start with a lower dose and gradually increase it, while also ensuring you’re staying hydrated, as MSM may act as a detoxifier. If you have any medical conditions or are taking medications, it’s a good idea to consult with a healthcare provider before starting MSM to make sure it’s safe for you.
If you’re experiencing a skin rash after starting MSM, it’s possible that you’re having a mild allergic reaction or that your body is adjusting to the supplement. Here’s what you can do: 1.Stop or reduce the dosage: Immediately stop taking MSM or lower the dose to see if the rash subsides. Sometimes, starting with a lower dose and gradually increasing it allows the body to adjust more smoothly. 2.Hydration: MSM is known to have detoxifying properties, and some people believe that it can trigger skin reactions as the body eliminates toxins. Drinking plenty of water might help flush out potential irritants and ease the detox process. 3.Topical treatments: You can use anti-itch creams (like hydrocortisone) or soothing agents like aloe vera to alleviate the discomfort from the rash while you’re determining whether MSM is the cause. 4.Consult a healthcare provider: If the rash persists or worsens, or if you’re unsure whether it’s related to MSM, it’s best to consult with a doctor. They can help determine if it’s an allergic reaction or something else and provide appropriate guidance. Remember that while MSM works well for many people, individual reactions can vary, so it’s important to listen to your body.
I had 2 grams MSM with 2 grams vitamin C and I was very healthy. I moved to another country and my routines changed and I forgot MSM and Vit C and last year I had a minor stroke. I am going to restart it again. God willing.
Serrapeptase is supposed to dissolve scar tissue. It's a proteolytic (I believe that's the word.) I don't know if MSM is also a proteolytic-- I've just begun learning about msm.😊✌
