I have a tip for you to clean out that waffle iron! When you are done cooking, wet a piece of paper towel and wring out some (but not all) the water, lay the piece of wet paper towel flat into the unplugged (but still warm) waffle iron. It will steam the gunk right off your griddle! I do this every time I use my waffle iron to keep it clean and it works like a charm. I hope you give it a try! I LOVE your channel. Sign me up for FRENCH TOAST but that's a real splurge while I try to lose this weight. :)

How do you get rid of residual oil?
YEP! I learnded that trip some time ago... maybe from YOU. It really works well. No more scrubbing off the coating on a waffle maker!!
1/2 cup Rolled oats
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
1 egg white
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1 scoop protein powder
1/2 tea spoon baking powder
1 teaspoon sweetener
you forgot 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Tip......reheat pancakes or waffles in the toaster. That way they don't get soggy like in the microwave😁

These were delicious! I used banana protein powder and added walnuts. Tastes a lot like banana nut bread

I made these this morning. I would need to cut protein powder by a lot, protein powder taste was overwhelming. It would be good to list measurement of scoop size.

I grew up on French toast but I'd say pancakes, waffles, french toast, cereal. The Protein Chef came up as a suggested channel and i'm so glad you did! While watching an older video i saw you had a Hannaford product and I thought hey, that's a new england store! After more digging ;) I see you are from my home state!
Depends upon the mood I'm...some days, waffle hands down; other days, pancakes; and still another day, french toast. As far as cereal, they are making healthier options, ex. Ezekial, Magic Spoon. Do the macros include the syrup and pat of butter? I'm sure the syrup was "sugar free."
Could you swap out oats for almond flour instead? Also, if we use pure monk fruit, how much do we add?

Can you make extra batter and store it in the fridge for later use? Or will it go bad too quick?
I don’t see why not, but if you want to be safe I would just have the dry ingredients prepared in bulk and then add the wet when you are ready to make some
Tried this today. Made them vegan by using a mix of flax and chia powder soaked in water, in place of eggs. They came out great. Thanks for the awesome recipe

Actually delicious shit that uses protein powder usually tastes nasty to me but this was so good, my new breakfast for sure.

What type of protein powder? Casein/whey mix, whey, casein, or whey isolate?
Any of those should work but in my experience casein works better for these sort of recipes

The trick is to cut sugar. Sugar is so bad for you. There are plenty of alternatives

u have to add baking powder and u have to make sure u put butter so it doesnt stick

Coconut flour is a bit tricky in some recipes with moisture - it's worth a try however.
