It would be complicated and time consuming. On a commercial scale where dtg are working at multiple projects at once, it would probably not be a viable option. Also to get the sounds accurate and to include every single sound, dtg would have to record every single nook and cranny and mph. Modders may be able to do it in a short amount of time but doesn't mean dtg can do it for every single train in game. Even the most talented developers might not be able to replicate it all. Even if dtg uses ap sounds, there's always going to be room for improvement
@@potatoman451You are telling me a company can’t hire a dedicated team or work with people like this? I get it would be complicated but some of the sounds in the stock game are absolutely atrocious and need work
I remember someone saying that because of the amount of stations on BKL, the route was more expensive to make than anticipated - especially since it's discounted with TSW2. As a result it meant that details couldn't be put in places like sound since the hours weren't there to spare.
How do you get so many passengers to board your train? Whenever I run the route passengers only go to the non driveable cars and even then only a few passengers get on. It doesnt feel right without dozens of people crowding each cart.
@ItsYa165 why not 🤷🏿 maybe things could be added or changed, for example, the doors closing announcements, the ridiculous dovetail wiper sound could change perhaps?? You know etc etc.
What Unreal Engine version did you use to cook it? I've been trying to do my own sound mods for TSW 3 but none of them was successful. I was using UE 4.27.2 to cook the files and pack it up with u4pak and put it in the DLC folder, but game says: "You have outstanding updates which means some of your installed add-on's version do not match the core game version. Please close your game and complete any outstanding updates." I've watched your old tutorial video but not worked. Does doing like in that old video still works? and if it works, which version of the Unreal Engine should I use for sound modding Train Sim World 3. edit: I contact the discord group about it, so they told me to use 4.26.2 version. if it works, then its fine.
Maybe. But just to disclaim, I won't backport it because it's too much work to stay on top of. If it works for TSW2 then happy days. If not then Oh the misery irl.
I love how this sounds! Really adds a new level of realism to the ‘72 Stock.
Good
I don’t get why dovetail can’t do this with sounds this is freaking amazing!

Do your TSW3 mods work on TSW4?
Most of them
@@ItsYa165 Just curious but what breaks the compatibility with your mods say made in TSW3 to not work in TSW4 or 5?
