Miku convinced the folks over them at the time (they have more latitude now) to let her write some lyrics. She did the lyrics of Freedom which came out on the same album as this, Brand New Maid, with an outside (non-Band-Maid) composer. Miku and Saiki wrote lyrics also for Yuragu as well as Alone. Kanami tried for some time to get approval to let them compose the tunes within the group. She reached the point of despair and feeling like giving up many times. Saiki was her main encourager during the dark times. And THIS was her breakthrough. Alone music is credited to the whole group as they were all involved in the tune, but the lead composer was Kanami. So Alone was a watershed song, because every bit of it was theirs. But it was especially vindicating for Kanami. Today she has proven what she can do many times. This song was her first sunshine coming out of a long dark tunnel.
If you want to hear something a bit different...check out The Dragon Cries. Sounds like something Hendrix would do and the solo is very imaginative with requisite bass and drum work an integral part of the bridge. It is a song that isn't very popular with the fandom but musician reactors seem to always like it. Like I said...sounds like a Hendrix tune.
These women are so good. It is like all they do is write winning choruses, and come up with killer hooks. Awkward(live from Zepp version), and Yolo MV have more goodness.

Once they were left "Alone" by their record / management companies to create what they wanted, well... look what they did. Alone! BAND-MAID is an important influence and contributor to the music industry with a continuous, growing worldwide fanbase. But to me, they are just the best sounding, best writers of hard rock music, and the most fun, joyous group of musicians to come along since the Beatles. Thx, RdR!

For lead guitar solo parts, one often-overlooked B-M track is Anemone. You are likely to find them too short, per usual, but I expect that you would otherwise like that aspect of the song, even though it is otherwise one of the mellowest tracks the band has released.

Rinne? There was post processing, but the original footage was shot on 2 Super 8, mm Film cameras. Saiki and Miku stated that in an interview.
