I'm primarily a hip hop fan but Led Zepp is groovy, funky, has dope beats and they're my favorite group of all time. Here are some dope tracks you'd enjoy, keep up the good work brother, When The Levee Breaks Kashmir Ramble On Immigrant Song Black Dog Trampled Under Foot
I work at one of the major galleries in London.12 years ago I had the pleasure of working with a great chap from Denver , Colorado USA. He told me he was lucky enough to get tickets to see Led Zeppelin at MSG in 1976 during the Physical Graffiti tour. He said it was so good he`s still not sure if he was actually there or if he imagined it.
Legendary- that’s Led Zeppelin. Rabbit hole alert......there’s a lot to these guys....one 6 string, one 12 string, so he can switch back and forth faster. He’s a master at his craft, as time shows us. 🎼🎶🎸🎹🎤❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘😎
One of the greatest rock&roll songs of all-time. It builds almost without you realizing. Very intense song. I believe you can be on the right road try and you will succeed in acquiring Heaven stay straight and focused till the end
All of Zeppelins catalogue should be listened to, chronologically by album, and then some key live show reactions. (See Live at Danmarks Radio '69, MSG' 73, Knebworth '79) The band has really tight compositions and they mix and drop really clean records. But their roots are in live jamming and feeling the music, and they always leave room for improvisations in the structure of the song so that they can jam over the same tune differently each time. All great artists do this, because they don't want to get bored playing it and they don't ever want to leave an audience any less than amazed and thoroughly entertained. I'm fascinated by their career myself.
a lot of reactors assume Robert Plant was high due to his hand movements but that is normal for him. He talks and sings with hand movements if you watch interviews and the live performances. He was less likely to be high than Page or Bonham.
Lol “is he wear a blouse?” O. M. G. Bruh, Robert Plant could wear any fucking thing he wanted and still rule the world. He was amazing, a trend setter, trend bucker, it didn’t matter. He was beautiful, talented and one of the best frontmen ever to appear in a stage. He was hot. And extraordinarily talented. If he wanna wear a blouse, he can wear a blouse.
this may be the biggest bridge in rock and roll history--after the verse and before the guitar solo. The structure and intensity of the bridge is so perfect that you can sense that what is to follow is going to be epic. And Jimmy nailed one of the best guitar solos. If you live near omaha and want to learn this song on guitar let me know, i teach.
The double-necked Gibson SG Jimmy Page is playing is a 12-string guitar on one neck, and a 6-string on the other. As far as ‘deep’ songs with cryptic lyrics that could be interpreted 150 different way, this is one of the first that comes to mind. Early Blue Öyster Cult’s lyrics were also heavy in the same way. That’s the music I grew up with. I used to sit with a printout of the complete lyrics of Blue Öyster Cult, smoking one big fat blunt after another, cross-referencing them, trying to decipher them.
This was live , way before the autotune , pitch correct and all that techno crap even existed . Just incredibly gifted guys , each a master on on his instrument . What you heard is what they performed , none of that techno crap todays bands use .
The singer, Robert plant liked to wear the blouses of the women he was sleeping with. bear in mind this was recorded in 1973, still the benchmark. i could talk for days about zep, it's good that you see their quaity for yourself, nice reaction to one of the best songs ever created.
When I lived in England I went a mile down a dirt road in the middle of nowhere to pick up my daughter from a playdate with her classmate. Got close to the house and this guy was out to my car, leans in toward the open window and says, "Hiya. I'm Jimmy." I just nodded and said hi back. He sat me down in his kitchen, made me tea and chatted with me, while we waited for our kids to finish playing, about what a shame it was that all the Pie and Mash shops had disappeared from London. Lovely guy with no airs at all, and the closest I'll ever get to guitar greatness.
There is know one can come to led zeppelin there is nothing else to listen to they are the greatest band in the history of rock and roll they are the definition of rock and roll period
1970 was a weird time, man. Weed was everywhere, clothing was whatever, and music was effing *golden*. Remember: Vietnam was A Thing, fear-mongering, the Red Scare, and ICBMs were hanging over our heads. Music saved our sanity. Yeah, I'm Gen X. You can't phase us at all. This was our mother's milk, right here.
Epic live version with an uncanny improvised guitar solo by the one and only Jimmy Page...check out Dazed and Confused, No Quarter, Since I've Been Loving You and Whole Lotta Love from the same MSG concert The Song Remains the Same for serious fireworks-cheers!
Generally agree about album versions over live versions; one exception is the Dire Straits song Sultans of Swing, where the studio version is great, but the Alchemy Tour live version is brilliant beyond description.
Love Zeppelin. 1st concert, House's of the Holy tour 1973 Tampa, Fl . Truly a milestone in my life. I was 13. My last concert, same year, Pink Floyd, Dark Side of the Moon, the day before I was sent to my dad in Ga. Only saw Zeppelin that 1 time. I went to all 4 Floyd shows, Dark Side of the Moon 73 - The wall 1979 in Atlanta. David Gilmore is so much more clean, precise, effortless ,that I gotta say,not Jimmy's best. Kinda fuzzy on seeing Zeppelin, little high, but I remember Floyd, and I was literally tripping. Good reaction ,but best? Nah,gotta go with Floyd, and I saw em all. The Who,McCartney Wings,,the Stones,Lynyrd Skynyrd, Almond Brothers, Heart, ZZ-Top,etc... Just my opinion, but David Gilmore is the GOAT. CAPT.BOB
Robert Plant vocals Jimmy Page guitar wizard John Paul Jones Bass excelance John Bonham drum god. When God Created these four. He broke the mold. Never will there be another band like this
You need to listen to Heart tribute at the Kennedy center do it to start to finish and Jason is playing his dad's drums his dad died in 1980 due to alcohol abuse in his sleep he consumed 80 shots of Vodka and he he is wearing his dad's hat and the backup singers are wearing a copy of the hat
Robert Plant would wear the blouse of the lady he had the night before each show. He also always tucked hisanhood to leftside. There is a interview with Robert Plant where he explains it.
You have soooo much more to do with Led Zeppelin! Please don't miss out on what's out there for you. I don't think you want to climb out of this rabbit hole until you've thouroughly enjoyed the rest! We can guide you through it if you wish. It looks like you've already done many more reactions and I'm betting you want to go further. Peace!
i was there... the song remains the same concert.... Madison square garden.... i think i was the youngest in the audience... long hair... flared pants...lol...... best $5 i ever spent..... peace
Not sure what I liked the most about your review. It's a toss up between the low buzzing sound throughout the entire song OR the smoke detector beeping because you to need change the battery (could save your life). My dogs especially like that one. Indeed, rumor has it that the lead singer Robert Plant would wear the blouse of the woman he was with the night before on stage often times, basically he was probably wearing something from a young girls closet.
Hey Mr. BizMatik my brotha, You need to check out a band called BUDGIE. Another three man band from the 70's that bring it everytime. React to a song called, "Breaking All The House Rules", studio version. I PROMISE, you are going to like them!!! C'MON MAN!!! Do it my brotha!!!!
You should watch Heart's live tribute of this song at the Kennedy Centers Honors with 3 members of Led Zeppelin when they were older watching from the audience. The drummer John 'Bonzo' Bonham died and wasn't there but his son Jason played the drums. It's an excellent live version. Here's the link. ua-cam.com/video/LFxOaDeJmXk/v-deo.html

I saw them live in 1977. Honestly, beyond perfection. You got 4 musical geniuses in ONE group. Just the BEST BAND EVER.................
I was 7n my older siblings went. I'm so jealous.
This version is best. Ever.
I'm primarily a hip hop fan but Led Zepp is groovy, funky, has dope beats and they're my favorite group of all time. Here are some dope tracks you'd enjoy, keep up the good work brother,

I fucking love that!! Is he wearing a blouse? And no, you aren't tripping! 😂
No one hit's that snare like Bonham did. What a perfomance.

I laughed when you said "This song's kinda deep" Then I subbed. Because your gonna go down a rabbit hole.
Jimmi is one of the GOATS on guitar brother. The band is unreal! Legendary!
Zeppelin set the benchmark so high few if any could ever match
I will admit i was impressed

When Jimmy met the Queen she said "are you a guitarist too Mr Page? ". LOL.
Lol wow
"Yes, I'm a guitarrist as well" ♡
Amazing and inspiring. I’m a musician and this gives me lots of fuel for the imagination, so thank you! 🎤

Robert Plant asks “ Does anybody remember laughter? “ because they were genuinely shocked by the violence that they witnessed in the USA.
Fun fact: when they first debuted this song live, Jon Paul Jones described the audience as "bored to tears"
This was live , way before the autotune , pitch correct and all that techno crap even existed . Just incredibly gifted guys , each a master on on his instrument . What you heard is what they performed , none of that techno crap todays bands use .
Dude. I'm so glad you found this man.
Jimmy Page has 2 guitars in one so that he doesn't need to change guitars mid song. It gives more scope in composing and performing music.
Jimmy page might be one of my new heroes lol
@@watchbizmatik Notice he starts out the song on the top guitar and does the solo on the bottom one.
Telynn S , the top neck is a 12-string for beautiful chords,; the bottom neck is a normal 6-string for playing power chords and solos!
This song is rated number one on some top 100 rock song lists. I agree.

If you haven’t already reacted to Heart covering this song at the Kennedy Center Honors, in front of Led Zeppelin, you should. It’s fantastic!

The 70's, man!! That was d'riguer back in the day, for those Rockers! Robert Plant was kind of a "Flower Child" kind of Rock frontman.

You really should watch Jimmy Page play White Summer. Im a huge Led Zep fan and this is one song that is an orgy to your ears
This is a deep song. Plant's voice is so good here. I like the studio version better though.
I love this live version. But I totally get why you should listen to the studio version.
Hi bro! If you could see dudes clothes on Woodstock 69...

Lower neck of the guitar is a standard 6-string.. upper neck is a 12-string
Not sure what I liked the most about your review. Not to worry, I talked them down off the ledge. I'm NOT a hater, but dude...
Btw, you are not the only one with the beeping issue.
The studio version is even crazier
You Shook Me -First Album
Indeed, rumor has it that the lead singer Robert Plant would wear the blouse of the woman he was with the night before on stage often times, basically he was probably wearing something from a young girls closet.
The guitar solo is improvised, listen to original one.. that's even more beautiful 💁🏽♂️
Check out Heart's tribute to them at The Kennedy Honors. Amazing!!!! (They did this one)

He’s also wearing women cut “hip hugger” Levi’s.
Be a rock and not to roll🎸🎶🎵👏👏👏
The gibson double necked guitar so he can switch from acoustic to electric with a different tuning on the electric guitar
Oh okay that make sense
They are both electric but one is a six string one is a twelve string. Still so he doesn’t have to change guitars mid song.
I have to admit I dropped a few hits of acid to this song
Dude, fix the squeaking noise on your chair.
