1:46 first time seeing someone doing a card with all their care it's really cool to display this info with text it makes it more memorable and even handy to have it as a screenshot
I left mine outside all winter on accident, a real giant clump of them in 50 gallon planter, and they were covered in multiple FEET of snow and survived.
I’m so thrilled to tell you that about four months ago I repotted my peace lily according to your instructions. I just noticed a blossom developing! I bought the plant five years ago and this is the first blossom in 3-1/2 years! I’m so happy that my plant is happy! Thank you!
Thank you! I have a 8 year old peace lily that was sent after my mom died and I was so scared to propagate it. You made me realize I could do it… and I did! 😊
I absolutely loved this video!! At 6:30 I don’t know why but when you were digging in her roots and said” just go slowly. Ha You’ll get there. “ I know the pain! And then no pants🤣🤣🤷♀️
I like it that u provide lots of info on the plant, the care, the potting mix, etc. visually in point form. Most other UA-camrs just talk and talk. Shows tt you really take the time to prep and research. Appreciate your effort. Plus, it's nice to see u so patient and gentle when loosening and separating the entangled roots.
No tips to share...but ty ty love this video! Was so helpful and to funny too with the face expression with the pants lol ty ty explained it so perfectly and showed exactly where and what... For caring for this beautiful plant! Blessings and ty ty again!
I have a spathiphyllium that hasn't been re-potted since I first got it about 20 years ago. I've been dragging my feet because I wasn't sure how to do it. Also there are now enough plants in the pot that I probably going to need several pots to get them down to a manageable size. Your video was exactly what I needed. Keep up the excellent work!
I got some party bowls at Dollar store, got a solder gun, burned holes in the bottom, voila!! I also buy Dollar garbage containers, they work great!! If I tried to drill holes, some of the bowls might crack, solder gun makes holes in just about anything!! I also use yogurt containers, plastic candy jars, no more buyng all those little pots. At what? 10.00 a piece? Nah. I might get some outer pots like you did, also looking at those 3 pot tier planters, but expensive....Jeannie in Lakeport California. Like your vid, and your energy, you get a sub!!
This video gave me the confidence to repot my Peace plant. It's been six weeks and I think 95% of the transplants are taking hold. The very tiny growths are stressed. But ultimately I believe they will be fine.
I needed to repot and divide a peace lily that had become root bound and this video told me everything I needed to know. I hope that the wasp or bee at 3:00 didn't sting you.
My peace lilly is huge........HUGE and I didnt know what to do with it....now I do ♡ I'd also love to take a moment to tell you how handsome and informative you are. I am very impressed. Your not the only one who gets excited over pretty pots♡
I second this comment. I absolutely appreciate the detailed scientific information and illustrations to really break it down. Can't wait to watch more vids from your channel. Great job. 👍
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!!! Glad I've found someone who can really educate me on my new found extreme hobby of #gardening and #loveforplants!! You reach a very broad audience for example I'm an old Underground raver from the late 80's/90's and my DD who is a young teen absolutely loves you!!! Highly educational, very loving and compassionate towards your plant's,extra cool visuals, great humour aswell as being both diplomatic and have fun with your audience and can laugh at yourself which is a very rare thing these days. You're down to earth and I will most definitely be watching all of your wee video's. We need Peace Lillie's in these uncertain times infact we need nature more than ever in these times. I'm addicted to Gardening now..I don't know what the heck I'm doing but I'm planting and reading up about planters, fertilizers, different weather conditions for both perennials and annuals and my plants are thriving 🤗... learning about succulents but my Peace Lily takes pride inside... Gardening throughout Lockdown helped my depression, anxiety and other issues I have so I thank people like you who are insightful and have beautiful souls instead of some egotistical person ranting on about how great they are. Gardening has healing powers..I think we should listen to nature more and go back to it. With kindest wishes and blessings from Aberdeen Scotland ✌️🌻❤️
This was my first video I've seen from you, and its so great! Really informative, easy to watch, good pacing, a good personality delivering the information, everything I could ever want from plant videos! I really do hope you come back and make more videos, if its healthy for you!
First time I saw you very informative video. Thank you. My peace lilies been suffering for many years. It seems like it's got the right amount of light the right amount of water, but it's still getting brown leaves from the tip down. I'm thinking the root system is in all that great, so I'm going to repot it into a better soil mixture into a smaller pot and see what happens. It has one leaf starting new growth finally
Peace Lilies like to be rootbound. I had a huge peace Lily. I repotted her into a huge pot. She did not spread out at all. All her roots were balled up and there was plenty of room in the big pot. So, I just put her back in a smaller pot.
Three years late to the party but thank you for such a brilliant video. I loved all the extra information about the rhizomes, root growth etc. great to learn why we need to propagate in a certain way. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us 😊
That is definitely a gorgeous peace lily! I like the pot you picked. Thank you for sharing this. I have been thinking about dividing my peace lily into two pots and I was not sure about how to do it. By God's grace, both of them will grow healthy and beautifully. God bless you, Bryan. :)
Thank you so much for this very informative video tutorial! I received a quite large, beautiful peace lily after my father passed in early 2020. I've kept it pretty happy so far. However, I have not repotted or divided it in these three years - basically, out of fear. I definitely don't want to lose this special beauty. BUT I am determined to divide it this spring. Your video has given me the confidence to go for it! 💪🪴In addition to all of the info you provided, your sense of humor made the video fun to watch, too! 😂
This was one of the most informative, illustrative, detailed plant videos I have ever seen. So happy to subscribe. Thank you so much. Keep up the great videos!
Excellent video! I learned so much 😆 I’m currently killing a peace lily ( not intentionally like - it has root rot ) ..I’m crap at plants , but have developed an interest over the pandemic so I took the lilies out of the pot and hacked off all the rotted roots (and some of the crowns) .. cleaned them with a toothbrush and some antibacterial hand soap , and put them in filtered water 💦 This was a couple of days ago ...they’re doing ok and I collected loads of rain water last night because it pissed down so I’m going to put them in that in a minute 😁 I’ve liked and subscribed , and am going to check out your other videos now as I bought a calathea the other day , knowing f. all about them ...and have learned since that they can b difficult for clueless ppl like me 😆 Thanks again and sorry for the essay 🤣
I’m new to your channel. This is the first video, and you forgot you weren’t wearing pants. Totally subscribing! This was informative and fun! Thanks! (BTW I’m a new plant mom and I’m excited to learn and grow with my plants!)
Omagad you're so cuuute! Thanks for the video, I've just got myself a lily today and started digging UA-cam for tips so I found your channel. Keep it rolling, it's cool
What an amazing video! I just bought my first three plants and I’m kinda obsessed with them, I’ve been watching videos and trying to learn as much as possible and this video is perfect for that! My new peace lily seems to need a new pot very very soon but I had no idea how to repot it, so thank you so much for this info and for the way you explain things! 🙌🏻💚
thanks for the tips. Great work so much easy to follow info. I have the ‘sensation’ variety of Spats. Wonderful patio Color for the jungle look and huge now. Everyone wants some. I started them tiny but now are 1.5m tall with leaves 600-800cm long and 200cm wide. Now i know how to divide safely and share these monsters with friends. Thanks again.
Your video is, by far, the most comprehensive I've found. Love the educational aspect, thanks for including the details on root growth and reasons for division! Exactly what I was after, cheers.
Thank you for the very helpful video! I have a HUGE peace lily that is in desperate need of a repot/separation and hanks to you tips it will be getting a new home this weekend.
OMG! U are the youtuber that I been looking for! Very informative and answer all my questions !👍👍👍👍👍👍 what else can I said🥰 ! Upload more 🥰Can’t wait 😊 🌱👍🌱👌🌱👌🌱👍🌱👍🌱👍🌱👍🌱👍🌱👍🌱👍🌱👍🌱
I just got one of these cuties. Gonna let it grow into it's new container a bit more but I'm excited to split it up in a month. This video was super helpful for planning out this baby's future.
Thank you for your video. I bought my plant last month and one month later I have a bloom. So exciting! I will need to divide soon and this was awesome. You are interesting, informative, funny and easy to follow. Please keep making more vids! ❤🙌
I just separated my plant and put them into 3 separate containers. It was doing pretty bad and when I took it out the roots were long but really skinny. Hopefully this revived them and they look as good as the one you planted😍
Are you a teacher, dude? Cuz you just gave me the confidence I never had in any of my high school science classes! The video quality is top-notch and I can tell you put a lot of time into filming and editing. I'm propagating a peace lily right now and your video was super helpful! Thank you so, so much! ❤️ P.S. #Liked #Commented #Subscribed P.P.S. Why are you so adorable? 🙃
Hahahahaha no pants. Thank you for the helpful video!! Root division is so intimidating but I’m excited to do this! Just got a peace lily and it’s nice and full but I didn’t want to divide just yet. It will be quite the project when I do. I put sand on top of my plants because I have had such bad gnat problems and the sand has helped so much! It’s just annoying when you want to repot because you have to separate the sand. But worth it because gnats are the devil!!!!
You have perfect teeth and a really great spirit, I really enjoyed your presentation, really laughed when you saw the roots 🙂. Stay wonderful fella subscribed
Thanks so so much, that is a exactly what I needed to know thank you. I love how you explain and the details are just amazing thank you. I definitely appreciate it.

OMG. LOVE IT !!! LOVE YOUR PERSONALITY...OOOOPS NO PANTS LOL !!! YOU HAVE OODLES OF KNOWLEDGE. I'M A FAN. KEEP EM COMING.
I received a peace lily 2 years ago as a gift. I’m surprised it’s still alive. I will repot tomorrow using these tips.
Why haven’t I found you sooner! You’re fantastic. Can’t remember the last time I “LOL’d” watching an educational plant video.

Ok, dude. You are the best plant teacher ever. I was laughing but also learning so much! Thanks for doing this. Hahaha
Three years late to the party but thank you for such a brilliant video. I loved all the extra information about the rhizomes, root growth etc. great to learn why we need to propagate in a certain way. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us 😊

This was a great explanation about showing how the nodes are the same as a vertical plant!!!
Very informational and educational without being boring. Great video, thank you!
First video of yours I'm watching. You have a glowing smile and an equally glowing energy. Stay happy and safe🙏🏾💫✊🏾

Thanks for the details about propagating a peace lily. Mine is huge, so I plan to separate it into many plants to give to friends.
Dr. Plant!!!! Thank you! I just repotted one, which is the reason I ended up here! 😂😂😂 Hey! I did every step! Hopefully it will turn out well.
Your video was very helpful for a black thumber like myself. Great rock tip. I have a toddler who loves to tip things over 🤪. Beautiful pot.
I just separated my plant and put them into 3 separate containers. It was doing pretty bad and when I took it out the roots were long but really skinny. Hopefully this revived them and they look as good as the one you planted😍
I’ve been in FFA for 4 years and video
taught me so much more than I’ve learn in biology and plant science classes combined
I laughed some much when you forgot you weren't wearing any pants! Great info, including rocks in the cache pot which helps with humidity too!
That was hilarious. "Oh sh%%, I don't have any pants on!"😂😂😂
I really liked your video, you explained things so well. Thanks for sharing! Cant wait to peruse your other videos!
This was a great video! I'm a visual learner so it helps me understand better. Thank you :)

I really enjoyed your video. I found the video on how to root system grows very enlightening. Liked 8:07 and subscribed. 👍👏😊
Just found your channel and easily my favorite plant channel I’ve seen yet!
Great video! I pulled one out to propagate from our community plant area in my condo LOL it is a hearty plan and I am loving it.
Should we wear pants when separating the Peace Lily? LOL. Thanks for this great video!
Yes you should when there are wasps or bees around like the one at 3:00.

This was SUPER helpful! Glad to be a new subbie!
totally subed, and frankly one of the more comprehensive vids on the subject.... Ive watched about 7 or 8 others, and learned nothing until now. As for a vid on root growth, yes please. One question if I may: Is there a difference between the large peace lily vs the dwarph variety ?
I LOVE your energy! Great job!
Great video! Clear, concise, very helpful! Liked and subbed. 👏🏼
