    Thanks! I love how you use the scientific names for the different parts of the peace lily. I didn't know you could propagate them by division, so now I can divide my pot bound plant.

    Thank you! My peace lilly grew 14 flowers at the same time this year. Your video was very helpful.
    By the way, I have used the same saw! 🤣 I thickly wrapped one end of the saw in tape to make a handle to hold.

    Thank you for the instructions on how to grow peace lilies from seed or by division. I have a very large indoor peace lily that was given to me 7 years ago at my mother's funeral. I keep it in the western window on a plant stand. At first, it bloomed only about every 3 months. As it has grown, it has progressively bloomed more frequently and now there are usually about 6-12 blooms on it at any given time! About 2 months ago I cross-pollinated several flowers by hand and produced about 20-30 large seeds which I hope to grow into new plants. Great video! Thanks!

    Fantastic. Keep doing you, fella. You're streets ahead of any other resource I checked. You covered off every aspect that I wanted to know about. Nice confidence and great knowledge. Looks like the seed method is a tough road to follow so I'll be getting out my hacksaw blade too. Thanks, great advice.

Mine is bearing flowers now for three years one flower at a time , april to may , However the flowers never bloomed like you see in videos this year i started giving it extra nutrients and it bloomed with good visible seeds i will definitely try this year the seed propgation

    Great video, thank you for sharing! It was very satisfying to watch. Female parts are receptive to be pollinated before the male parts produce polen. Thats why we need to collect polen from another flower because by the time male parts start producing polen female ones are not receptive anymore. Its all about timing 🙏🏻

    Absolutely BRILLIANT video! Loved the narration and easy to understand instructions. One teensy thing though. . .never cover the drainage hole in a pot. The impermeable layer backs up the perched water and can kill the roots. Other than that, I LOVE the video.

    Loved the videos. Any reason a piece lily leaves would start to get very thin? Some of these thinning leaves are darkening around the sides and dying.

    • @Urbanscapegardening
      @Urbanscapegardening  8 місяців тому

      Thin leaves could be due to the pot size...if u have good amt of leaves with blooms don't worry if they are thin...side browning is usual if there are enough leaves and blooms
