10:53 i think he meant Zoroastrian anatomical drawings. They're anatomical drawings from ancient Persia that have stylized muscle groups and flower like veins.
Papel picado is part of a Mexican tradition: day of the dead. It's believed that on November 1st and 2nd the barrier between death and life fades, so the souls of the dead return to visit their loved ones. Family and friends "expect" them with food and things the deceased enjoyed in life. Everything is placed in an altar, among these objects there must be a representation of the four elements: water, earth (Flowers) fire (candles) and wind (papel picado). The puncturing in the paper depicts scenes from daily life and the coexistence of life and death. Papel picado is often made in bright colors. I think that the use of this paper in the collection could be more deeply related to the idea of resurrection, cause this item directly references the idea of coming back from the afterlife.
they’re probably made from plumbing pipes because his dad was a plumber! and his mother was a brownie thats why you always see some kind of camping looking art objects. thats why he’s my favorite designer. a Genius.
17:06 the purple lines on the last section remind me of sterile surgical markers that are used to draw on patients before operations. After searching eBay for more accurate color tone, I’m more convinced they do look alike.😂
Yo Bliss, have been looking at your videos for a while. And I think they might work better it you would dovthem in a vertical aspect ratio. Since all the photograph of runways you are presenting and you yourself the head shots if you could benefit from a vertical aspect ratio because we have unnecessary detail on this landscape frame on the edges and I think that these videos these breakdowns could work better on phone screens nowadays in vertical.
Yup! I just reuploaded for people who haven’t seen it. New episodes are on track and coming out on time :) I just did a reupload at the halfway point. Next episode is Rick Sisyphus, launching in 5 days 💫💫
Usually when I see menswear they save the Artsy fartsy stuff for the women swear, sticking to more traditional pieces to sell. But Craig no he goes hard for the gents. I live it cause it makes the shows fun.

Sarah Mower put it very accurately. The most intriguing artists are those whose train of thoughts is hard to catch. But you still be trying. I've noticed it with contemporary painting many years ago but obviously it can be true to other creative areas as well. But i promise you that Craig Green is NOT able to think of leather as a vegan would (otherwise he would have never produced this collection). Craig Green: "Jacket is made out of leather. This is disgusting. Let's contemplate, explore and play with this discomforting feeling". Actual vegan: "Jacket is made out of leather? This is terrible. I stop contributing into it immediately". As simple, boring and non-innovative as that.
