When I was a teenager in the late 1970s and early 1980s, I heard Boz Scaggs on the radio and liked all of his songs. I never knew he was a white guy until I saw one of his albums for sale at the mall (remember those?). I was truly shocked! He has that great sound that sort of fuses jazz, rock, pop and R&B. His music is still great forty years later. Rock on, Boz!!

You and I lived thru what wad perhaps the most incredible music transformation era of all time.. If you have an 8 track? The worst piece of junk .. But I put up with it becaude of the music on it. My kids caught and lovrd the music of our era just in time .. I told them o e day ..wjy listen to musiv when the message is lets all go to hell, people spewing out the N word... And these are people who havent even masterd their instrument. Some how magically they heard me and the music at ourr house is now great to hear all the time. A lot of the newest music is coming around. Too. P.S. I never had an 8-track, but had plenty of LPs, 45s and cassettes. Eventually, I gravitated to CDs and now stream music via Amazon & SiriusXM.

Thats right ! Just like "Human Nature" recorded on a Michael Jackson record. It was written by Steven Porcaro (Toto Keyboardist) , but never made it to Toto IV. Quincy Jones wanted it for the Thriller album.
This was actually a Toto demo back in the late 70's before they were an official band. It was never released on any of their normal albums though. So they basically gave it to Boz & even played on his version too. Great song.
