I like it! Heres hoping we get a back to the future 2 style story, with a future discovery secretly popping up in a previous episode! A bit like that great ds9 episode with the tribbles! 😊
@dr-nerd That would be so great if they did that. And maybe explain some weird anomaly that happened in earlier seasons because of the future discovery being there all along... love back to the future 2 :)
VERY Interesting! Calypso has always fascinated me...I have watched it many times since the end of Discovery Season 2. Loved the last vid and this one....thanks for putting these together!!!
In Calypso, the Discovery computer says she's been waiting for a 1000 years... but where is she waiting? Let me know what you think in the comments below and Trek On! :)
You're most welcome. I binged watch your entire channel yesterday and have to say that I think you are or going to be spot on with your Borg/Picard theories. I really enjoy the channel. Keep up the great work!🖖
Joseph Toucheck wow that’s awesome 😎 glad you liked all the vids so far. I think if they do something like that for the Picard show it’s going to be a huge hit. Here’s hoping :)
Food for thought on a different are of Disco; if the Klingons wanted to make Voq into a human infiltrator, couldn't they have just given him a mild dose of the human augment virus and been done with it in like 10 minutes instead of cutting his bones out and nearly killing him? Sure it wouldn't have filled much screen time, but it would have helped link the series back to Enterprise!
That's true, you'd think they have some augment virus sitting around still... perhaps the writers just wanted it to be more dramatic and give the human version of 'Tyler' that whole connection with L'Rell and in his psyche feeling that she abused him? I agree tho, I've been thinking about this area recently too, and am planning to do a video on the discovery klingons soon, so this was good food for thought :)
I don't know.... V'draysh might refer to the federation. V'draysh was briefly mentioned in Discovery episode 3.02 by Zareh "A one-woman tactical response? V'Draysh has officially reached its nadir."
The writer of "Calypso", Michael Chabon, confirmed on Instagram that "V'draysh" is a syncope (a type of linguistic distortion) of the word "Federation".
But Discovery doesnt have Tarren empire markings?? Also she said discoverys been in the nebula for 1000 years. So if the Zora got on discovery in the 2300's then according to your theory the ships been waiting since 1300's??? Also that discovery didnt look like it was refited for 32nd tech like in season 3???
The Terrain Empire collapsed before the Deep Space Nine time period. It wouldn't have been the Terran Empire, but good try. I suppose it was a good try, considering how this all played out by the end of Season 5.
@@anduinlothar9906 if you google it they explain its word for federation. Also I found out its not the alternate universe. Its the normal one just at a point where the federation was corrupt I think...its years after Picard I think..
@@Musiclover6404 It’s an alternate timeline/parallel reality in which the Discovery, instead of time travelling 930 years into the future, spends those nine centuries hidden away after being abandoned by it’s crew. Craft doesn’t recognize the arrowhead symbol of Starfleet which means his enemies the V’Draysh don’t use it. Book instantly recognized the Starfleet arrowhead on Michael Burnham’s uniform when they first meet after her 930 year time jump. Admiral Charles Vance’s Federation forces are not strong enough to wage a 10 year war with anyone. It’s clear that Calypso and season 3 and 4 of the Discovery series take place in different realities.

Sounds like a Flash episode!
@RG D haha it does :)
@@StarTrekTheory will you do anymore theories?
@RG D I’ve got lots more on the way :)
I had interpreted the upside down camera as showing that the gravity plates are off. But then they got turned on and the camera oriented itself.

Just seen season 5 finale. Kinda shitty really.
The whole show is shitty, it’s an embarrassment to Star Trek with some of the worst acting ever seen.
Well not mirror universe but yup!!!!
she's waiting to pick up prime Lorca
V'draysh means federation...so yes its the mirror universe but I guess this ep was to show what happened to the evil crew...
Not sure if you caught it but in season 3 ep2 when Saru and Tilly went into that border town, the bad guy said something about Vdrayash there.
How is that mean federation?

The writers of discovery are not that smart
