We have the velar in exactly the same colour, been a Range Rover owner for the last seven years we wouldn’t have anything else but Range Rover, absolutely superb motors , and in the recent floods we’ve had , it took deep water with ease .
@ in 7 years of owning a Velar and a discovery sport before we’ve never had any issues with any of the cars. Serviced regularly with LR and been off road for holidays in them and been absolutely fantastic cars.
Hey Gok, Interesting review (as always). I’m curious as to what you think of the new G class diesel, it’s the SUV that I think would serve me well. 👍👍👍
I didn’t want to say it out loud in a public forum but… in the passenger ride of a Cullinan I don’t remember being this blown away by it! Thanks for watching!
Would have liked to have had more of your observations about your experiences with the electric drive and all the ways to use the energy recovery and blend the two drives to maximise mpg. I've road tested the RR P460e and it was amazing to use the battery for stop/start crawling then beyond 40 mph use the ICE, engage the battery for hills and recover battery range downhill or braking. Even on the modest test it showed that it was capable of 50+mpg and as you implied if you have you're own home charger then a daily commute could be done on 100% battery power. I just don't know how it would fair on longer cruising journeys and unfortunately the dealership sales people are clueless. None of them are up to selling cars of this sophistication.
@@LWIAAE hello, yes very valid points. Not having access to a charger where I live limited what tests I could run. I go into a little more info on the Porsche Cayenne video which is pretty much an identical set up. The recuperation helps but the car doesn’t self charge so whilst you have charge you can achieve some amazing MPG 100+ if you use it right. Once the charge is out the ev says “you’re on your own”. Crawling up to a few mph is still in EV and start/ stop is powered by the electric motor too but point being, once you’re out of charge the mpg starts tumbling down. For the average commuter it’s good, for the longer cruising you’ll struggle to achieve those numbers. Hope that helps? Let me know if you have any questions :)
Significantly better over the last 6 months. Recommendation is always going to your current insurance provider as they know your history. Helps to live not live in London as well 😂
I thought you said Herdly instead of thirdly because I saw cows. Had to double check twice. Where is the passenger airbag? How is ride compared to GLE?
Just too fast through the water. You’re taught on the LRE days to take it slow as you’ve no idea on depth and what’s beneath. A case of ‘I’m in a RRS and unstoppable’ Other than that enjoyed your review. Oh and agree about the Defender - on my third here!
The computer said it needed at least 4” - but yes if i wasn’t on normal driving roads I would never take it at those speeds. Thanks for watching Ian - appreciated. Defenders RULE!
Aside from the plug-ins much better efficiency numbers, I am extremely bullish for the BMW sourced V8…. The overall reliability jumps immeasurably with its incorporation in the Rover…
It was a very nice video Gok. 🤌🏻It was the most comfortable journey I have ever had. I really liked the new range rover P460e sport, especially its color.♥️
Daylesford for the win, we love it there. Such a lovely car to drive

Did I say the colour right? Haha! Good to hear people’s positive experiences. Thanks for watching! :))
@ you did say the colour right.
Snap
@@charlotteanddavestorey6553 hows the reliability so far? I've had a bad experience with the LR3 back then, quality issues

Such a slay! Loved this so much Gok!!
Thanks Bhavlina 🎄💙
Great video dude! Very well put together and a nice balance to watch!
Thanks a ton!
I love your presentation very well spoken about the range Rover sports..
Glad you enjoyed it!

👍👍👍
Chances of me getting one out of Mercedes is about as likely as me pulling one out of my derrière 🤓
🤣
Thanks for watching mate!
Loved the video, especially when ramming through the paddles, so soothing, so nice 🤤
Why cannot other manufacturers add 2 sun visors?
Tesla bring the telescopic sun visors, Range Rover have a 2 for 1 on them…
Someone needs to make dual, telescopic ones 😂
@ 🥺🥺 love it
Love this!!
Thanks Keevs!
Such a cool car and presented very well!
Thanks Joe - appreciate it!
Have one,the best subv by far, amazing car, even comes close to the cullian i had previously

@@GoksCarLounge To drive the cullinan is the best, special but so is the price (

I know it's an over discussed topic but is there any update on people obtaining insurance via Land Rover themselves?

I just had my RRS460e Insurance Come trough In a SG location at £700/yr
@ I’m in an RM postcode and the only quotes I can get are near five figures despite being half a century old!!

Opportunity missed.
It’s so comfortable that it doesn’t need airbags. Even crashes are comfortable.
Rides better than GLE, marginally.
@GoksCarLounge - the crash test dummies left smiling

Never a debate with a V8
