We are always faced with challenging philosophical questions - ah indeed in this case “To slide or not to slide” - you have wonderful rhythm and blues! Wishing you a wonderful Sunday Amy
Hi Amy, Really enjoying this, you are so talented with all your different styles. Evelyn has just watched you and liked it too, actually she loves all your music and felt very honored when you did those 2 songs for her. Sunny here and lots of bees on the flowers. Enjoy the rest of your day, Mike 😊❤
This is very good! I've never owned a bass guitar, but when I was in a band (decades ago!) I used to borrow the bass player's bass, and had fun working up some bass lines. I enjoyed your video!
Another great onr dear friend. Where is your open mic? Maybe I'll come for a visit. Like and Full listen🤠😎👍🎵🎶🎹🎸🎼👌😁Cheers, Bruce Keep playing and posting.
That's some very nice bass playing and vocal Amy!! You are indeed a multi-talented musician my friend! Both ways sound great, but your new way of picking sounds really clean without the fret noise from the slide 🤗 I only played bass once in my life when I was in Army basic training in Texas back in '69 when our platoon played in a battle of the bands on base, and they needed a bass player and I said sure, I can play! Well I never picked up one in my life and I only played guitar, so I learned it as fast as I could just enough to play our song "Do You Believe In magic" by The Lovin spoonful. We didn't win but wound up taking second place 🤗 playing in the band got me out of a lot of unwanted KP👍👍 I never picked up a bass again 😥😥 sorry about the long story...brought back those memories... Have a great rest of your weekend, Steve
@@StevenEarney thanks so much, Steve. I started out playing guitar and tried to learn bass out of necessity, much like what you describe. I really enjoy it, but I worry that I play bass like a guitar player rather than a true bass player 😊 when I first learned this song, the slide through the notes was the best I could do. Progress 😊
@@gingersnap6183 you sound great on the bass Amy.. I don't finger pic in a conventional way either ... I guess I'm more of a self-taught claw picker 🤗 just do what feels natural to you! . I wish I would have kept up with the Bass guitar..... All the best....
Absolutely wonderful. It's always pleasure listening to you and your music.❤🙏❤
