I love the smiles and faces around the 3 min mark. The face of a bassist having fun and knowing they're nailing a super complex and awesome riff. As a fellow bassist, I know that's such a good feeling, and nothing else makes me smile in such a way :)
I love that, even though the film is heavily produced, she is not overly "performing". It shows she's singularly focused on playing the bass precisely and nailing the feel of it. A lot of BIG records are going to have her playing on it, and we should all take notice.
Accurate note values and good separation of sounds, as if quantized. The slap in the second half is a natural and excellent thumbing without overemphasizing the pull. Like Surume, the more I listened to it, the more the flavor came out and I was gradually excited. It's been a long time since I've been impressed by a bass.
