Thanks a lot for sharing, so this is how one of the most expensive Milwaukee tool works.

Was thinking about getting one. But I can't seem to find them with the dies. Total tools, Sydney tools etc just the skin.
Question on the crimp side of things does it auto shut off when the crimp is complete aka overshoot the light? Does it auto retract or do you need to hit the release trigger.
Used some in the past like the Kluke which auto retracts once the pressure of the crimp is done.
Cheers for thr videos mate love em.

The crimper auto retracts once the crimp is done. There is a button on the crimper as well that lets you release the pressure at any time to open the jaws.

@@andrewclarkeyno it doesn't. You have to trigger release. Been using it all week.

@@ReebyPlaysGames Yeah you're right, I'd only used it once back then and remembered wrong. Hope MyRed didn't get stiffed by my info.

6:57 nice tool but pricy.. but on some crimp you are using it wrong ( some time in this video ).. always start close to the lug with first crimp en then go closer to the wire .
You can deform the lug with going back from back to front ant have bad connections .. ( seems you are doing it ok in some crimps but in some not ) .
Some lugs even have directon on it where to crimp first ( in case of multipe crimps possible )

I've just gone down that rabbit hole on google mate, you're right. Main reason I've seen for it is the cable popping out of the lug slightly which is somewhat questionable as a reason - you can see the copper through the window in australian lugs at least. But it does seem like good practice so ill take it on board and pass it on to my young fellas. Thanks for the comment

Mate, nice kit, but nobody should be spending their own coin for this kind of gear unless your going into business as a lug termination specialist

Ya, if you like sharing used tools. I don't share tools. Other people always jack up tools and then don't say anything. This can put you in a bad spot.
