This was an absolutely epic concert by all accounts. Sadly, I was only 12 the time. Had it been 6 years later, I would like to hope that I would do everything I could to be there. Fortunately, I saw them in 1998 near my hometown, and they absolutely crushed that show as well.

I sort of jumped off the bandwagon after AJFA… I knew then that things were just not going to be the same anymore. I collected rare Metallica albums back then (and still have them stashed away somewhere-colored vinyl albums, picture discs, bootleg concerts, EP’s, 12” 45s, etc)

I was at this concert, I was then in my second year studying in college, what groups were there and I don’t remember, I went to METALLICA, it was a complete blowout, Broom - we remembered listening to it at home and in urgent company back in 86, when it was openly that the pioneers and Komsomol members did not approve of the blah)) which did not stop us from drawing her name through a stencil on the back of the padded jacket)) on the trashed cassettes on Elektronika 302 with the batteries crumpled into the trash, it arose that this way they would work a little longer)) and instead rewinding after wiretapping, I used a pencil, the film broke, you nicked the nail lag from your mother or older sister, glued the film and listened again, and here is BROOM live in Moscow, my whole world turned upside down with emotions then...))) you can checkout my channel i do metal too)
I was able as an ordinary soviet 15 years old teenager to visit a Metallica Monsters of Rock concert in the Capital of evil Soviet Union, but I am unable for at least 5 years to whatch Metallica alive again here in Greece 😂

My impression is that he's playing as accurately as we'd always expect him to. It must have been some problems with the mixing or his guitar amp. Or both.
