We need Wes Hauch in that Pantera reunion
Along with Gene Hoglan!
That's what I'm saying. Zakk Wylde can't get on this level of accuracy.
I've said for years that Wes is the closest player to Dimebag that we'll ever see. I get that Zakk was close buddies with Dime, but Wes nails it more than ANYONE.
Wes is the only one. Zack is a great guitarist but can't fuck with Wes.lolol
Or in that Phil & Rex cover band that’s touring right now 👌🏽
You know, Wes doesn't get enough credit for how great of a player he is. Keep shredding it brother.
That’s true!
Only guy I see pulling off dimebag licks and still getting praise from everyone.
It’s what happens to people who copy
I’ve been watching this video for 3 years straight
That “floods solo” makes me cry dude
Videos like this reveal how truly Dimebag was in being so far ahead of his time. His riffs would still hold their own today.
Dime was djent before djent was a thing
@@metalheadblues Dime is better than that my dude... he's a God
they wouldn't hold their own...they are way better than djent two note bullshit with no feeling
@Thrash Metal Studio still DO
@andrewnodwell3564 do you realize how wrong you are. Try and play some of Dime's riffs and solos for yourself and you'll realize the difficulty and feel required to play Pantera. If you just go for note accuracy in Pantera you'll end up sounding very wrong.
listening to this guy play the guitar is a total pleasure.
One of the very few guitarists that can play Dime's solos with the same feel that he had.
he dosnt play the riffs the same at all, every riff i heard here, is off somewhat. ur deaf man, sorry dude
I think he just like to add something of his own
@@daveferguson3629 he said "THE SAME FEEL" 😂😂
Yeah nothing like dime sorry...
Only person I’ve seen do it is Kenny Giron
So much life in dime's solos dude. His energy can absolutely be found in his leads and riffs.
Always remember this video, the way he played floods is what got me into playing guitar. Wes's technique is flawless. Much props to the man.
I wish you would have been the guy to do the reunion. Wes you are one of my top 5 favorite players of all time. Dimebag, Tosin, Wes, Merrow, Plini, Ola. Grew up listening to Yngwie and Becker, Gilbert, Romeo and all the many others and I put you with the best. Love your playing dude, wish there were more videos of you playing!
In a perfect world, Wes or that Belgian guy should be on tour with Phil and Rex.
Which Belgian guy?
Attila Voros from Hungary. He's amazing too, and teaches every nuance of Dimebag playing in his channel.
If you're referring to Ola, he's a Swede.
In a perfect world Dime and Vinnie would still be alive to have a complete Pantera.
its 2022, and this still sounds killer . great job
Hauch to replace Wylde in Pantera reunion.
Vote here.
Jacob Lewis both the Abbott brothers are dead. They were the heart and soul of the band.
@@fearofthedark88 Yes, this is true, but let us be constructive, as there music is NOT dead (or is Wes demonstrating the opposite?) and he could perfectly join Phil Anselmo as latter is still out there playing Pantera songs with the illegals.
@@cero815 and they are an abomination, terrible covers
@Gato Juanito 100% agree
@@fearofthedark88 so don’t call it Pantera
That lighting bolt one is a piece of art..Great playing of course and superb tone.
Dimebolt :)
Can't believe I forgot about this dude. So glad to hear justice being done to Dime's parts👍
I love this. No 3 minute explaination of what you're about to do. Nice work.
i didnt know why it was removed on keith's channel, downloaded a 480p version on vimeo, gladly i see this on my youtube home page
He left Seymour Duncan and started playing Fishman Fluence pickups.
The floods and cemetery gates solos are still my all-time favorite solos ever
Yup
Add 10s to complete that list.
@@alb6818 yes love 10s solo too
Ive been coming bsck to this video every 6 months or so for the past 4 years ...the dryness and pureness aspect of this tone is a listening reference point for me when making presets
This tone was s incredible and nothing short of phenomenal playing Wes!!! Keith Merrow is a genius player too but man your ear in the studio is Gold!!!
One of the best Dime tributes hands down!! Getcha' Pull, Wes 🤘
Yes! Thank you very much for reuploading these awesome videos
I listen to this daily. Seriously. Such great playing man and awesome tones!!!
This is a killer tribute video to Dime and his legacy. Im sorry I missed it the first time around. It's like listening to Dime, current day, in hifi. Killer chops man. Love your stuff!
thank you for, so far, the most convincing representation of Dime, due to the very tone, the way of playing, and the respect towards him. salute 🍻
You are the few who can grasp the sound&soul of the Master!!!
Like everyone here, i was also looking for this video the other day. I stumbled upon it on facebook but i'm glad you have it reuploaded!
DUDE! I am SOOOO fucking stoked you reuploaded this! I watch it all the time! Keep rocking bro!
Dimebag would be proud, you show big respect 🎸
THANKS FOR RE-UPLOADING IT DUDE!!!!
I was literally looking for this the other day, thank you for reuploading
thank you for uplooading this again!!!
Absolutely stunning playing, so easy, so accurate, so juicy, so musical!
I can hear wes playing all day!🤘
Wes. One of my favorite contemporary players. ❤️❤️
Happy birthday Dime ! Beautiful playing homie. 🤘🏽🔥
Wes your so technically sound and on the tempo that it's the only difference I could hear that's different in the sound. Dime use to play so much stuff before and after the beat, just in how he felt it. That's what made him dime.. relax and bend the shit out of every note I think was his quote lol.. Either way, you kill it bro. Keep up the good work, i rewatch this video at least 2 times a month. Dimebag.. never forgotten brother.
I watch this once a month or so. It’s crazy good
What a beautiful video and RIP brother.
Id go see pantera with Wes i think he would give these songs the respect they deserve and try his best to nail it
Dimebag for life ! Good job brother!!!!!!!!
That rendition of floods was absolutely DEEEEELICIOUS. Great stuff. Your bends are tasty af.
Dude dime would have been so proud of you,!!! You fucking nail it
So Awesome!! Thanks Wes!!
Man that original 90’s Bill Lawrence that came in that guitar is a much better pickup than the Dimebucker.
Right I was about to say the Bill Lawrence xl500 and seymore duncan 59' humbucker is what dime used for the longest tiem not sure when he started using a dinebucker in the bridge great playing though. Dime was the greatest
My brother had a Dean Cadillac with the L500XL/'59 combo and a Floyd back in the day, all white with some sort of see through tobacco flame maple finish...fucking thing shredded like hell.
I know this has nothing to do with what you said, but I have the Wilde L500XL and I think that pickup sounds amazing! (thinking about grabbing a L500 for a little less output so I can add as much gain as a please and then pull it back for cleans)
Excellent stuff!🤘
such a good tribute to dime
Wes should be the one on the so called pantera tribute tour his sound is amazing, and ability would make dime proud…god bless ya Wes!!!!!!!
Dime loved originals, he’d want someone to be more themselves than mimic him.
This is who they should have called up for the tribute
The ending riff from Throse Of Rejection absolutely crushes just as much as on the record. Fuck yeah, Wes!
ouuuuuuf !!! just awesome sound
You you nailed the tone , now blow it up brother
Some some bad ass playing brother. That shit took me back!!!!
Wes is the man.
keep this shit alive brotha!! great to get to tour with y'all. lmk if you need anything at all!
sick video!
Very good video...💚🎸
I cannot believe I stumbled upon this channel! Dude, I was at Leonard Wood with you. You graduated a couple weeks ahead of me and sent your guitar to my house. Then I sent it out to you from there. You wound up in nmcb 3. I had a nice les paul custom at the time. You played it in base housing if I recall correctly. Awesome that you kept at it 👍
Nick Trierweiler heavy! Not often that I run into someone from A school or Battalion on the internet!
You look and sound awesome man 🤘. Always super talented! Small world! Good luck to you brother. Subscribed
Leonard wood as in fort Leonard wood missouri?
@@corybeckmann8823 yup, US NAVY seabee's "A" school
@@nicktrierweiler3690 that's wild, I live right outside of fort Leonard wood lol
I like this guitar and the Sound. I have the Dean Razorback, the same Seymour Duncan Dimebucker
Goddamn bro. Melted my face
I know that Pantera is out touring right now so this comment is irrelevant, but I truly believe there isn’t another guitarist on the planet that could emulate Dime’s sound and feel the way that Wes can. I understand why Zakk is the guy. He was extremely close with Dime and is a fantastic player plus Zakk’s presence brings additional clout to the tour as well. But I’m sure Zakk himself wouldn’t even argue that Wes could completely smoke him. Heck I think Wes would be perfect to try to do a new Pantera album though I know that won’t happen. Never heard someone capture Dime’s flair like Wes. Too bad he couldn’t be the guy on the current tour.
Wes, i aspire to have the picking control and fluidity in my playing that you do man. Cheers buddy 🍻
One of the most underrated guitar players!
Wes man, I think you're the only guy doing Dime justice in your music. Sarcoma is fucking ridiculous and that Fogbelt intro is awesome.
Your awesome Wes
Nice job on the leads!
Разрыв мозга!!!!!!крутяк просто супер!!!!!
Dude, you kick ASS!!!
Wes!!!!!!!!! Awesome!!!!
I have watched this video far too many times....
Chewy did badass on that fiddle. 🤘🏽
Love Ya Wes ✨🤟
Un fu*!#%ing genie ce Darrell !!!!
Awesome demo! I’d really like to try these pickups. I’m looking for something a bit hotter that will help my pinch harmonics.
Great phrasing
PRIMAL CONCRETE SLEDGE
you rip and rock my friend
Dropped the all black set in my DEAN MS Standard And... MAN 🥴🔥
You should be the guitar player doing the Pantera tour right now. I think Zak means well but you play Dimebag's riffs and solos so much more exacting. 🔥
100%…I say that all the time
Wes is a god
nice playing bud.
I'm going to put the Dime set in my 2020 Epi Explorer.
wes is at least to my knowledge the only dude that can actualy sound like Dimebag himself. im talking about the hands, he fully sounds like if dimebag had listen to more modern metal and added it to his playing.
Honestly didn’t make the connection right away but after seeing this and listening to more Pantera I totally agree. Wes is to Dimebag what SRV was to Hendrix
you are a god
Is it only PRS Archon in sound chain after guitar?
Who tha hell is the Bon Jovi fanboy who gave this the thumbs down?
Hahahahah!!!! Fuck yea
crazy was searching for this a week ago! and i couldnt find it for shit lol! wes you must’ve sensed my frustration lol \m/ where those hesu demon speakers in that 2x12? cheers brother! love your vids & playing!!
hes probably the 2nd most accurate and precise guitar player ive ever seen next to MAB
lmao
Paul Gilbert. Love or hate his music, he plays like a machine.
How close are these to the Bill Lawrence L500XL?
Wes and Vogg collaboration. Y'all both got internet right? Could happen.
This playing is cleaner than COVID clinics!
can you direct mount this thing?
What's the name of the song at 2:46?
I wish you could do some more pantera cover....sound like Dimebag and feel like Dimebag sounds great...keep working on man !
Have you thought about doing a review on Kirk Hammett's EMG Bonebreaker ??? I would appreciate it because there is no review available on this platform
I love this fucking video
Such a sick fucking guitar man Christ almighty
Wow just fucking wow man :)
Is that keith merrow's room?
Sounds BadAss \m/.
