Wes is the best at nailing Dimes style by far. Awesome cover.

@@89gt5.0 Absolutely not, Ola can't even handle doing pinch harmonics consistently meanwhile Wes is hitting hick bends and odd grooves perfectly.
I love Ola's playing but he can't hack it.

It’s not about having the vocals sound 100% the same, it’s about matching the energy and this guy did that. Great job

0:49 when you master the bass in such level that you only need three strings.
Pretty sure he does play 5 and even 6 string basses, but that 3 string is so badass

The War Within is so fucking good. Revisited a listen to the full album about a month ago after maybe not listening to it in maybe 5-10 years. I forgot how fucking good that album is. Chills.

If I'm not mistaken, Shadows Fall was on the tour with Damageplan the night Dime was taken from us. This had to be pretty emotional for him considering the tribute in the beginning. Great cover! As always Frank showing the Type O love. Respect!

Frank doesn't get enough credit in these videos. There aren't many drummers that could play with so many renowned musicians, in a lot of different subgenres, with some very well-known covers where everybody knows the drum part, and still hold their own. Kudos man. Hope you get a bit more visibility as a musician beyond the MI covers.
So as much as I love Zakk... this dude Wes should be the Pantera guitarist. Dude is near perfect at Dimes sound.

One of the best Pantera covers of all time! Wes plays Dimes riffs so good and Brian's vocals match Phil's very well without mimicing him. Really wish Brian and the boys would bring Shadows Fall back to life!!! I really miss them! Pantera and Shadows Fall were my favorite bands in the 90's and 2000's followed by Killswitch Engage.

Ya gotta admit having Dime's tone is unique. I still rarely hear it replicated! It had so much power and punch. Maybe track this guitar 2 or 3 times and it'd be close but I dig it and well done guys. There are so many cool things in this vid, to many to list but the bass and the tapestry is bass(bad ass) HA Ha
