Gonna wait to watch this with my husband later, but did want to chime in and say that the last video was our favorite one ever. Coming along on little outings and seeing activities and new places, especially beautiful architecture, design, and nature is much more interesting to us than watching you bake, for example. We get to see things we never would in real life. Keep up the great work

Oh Nicholas the Midland accent still comes through. I can tell because my husband comes from Birmingham. He left when he was17 and now is 74 et from time to time it’s the odd word or vowel. It is lovely makes you so human!

What a lovely Cottage, that truly is all anyone would ever need or want. It takes money and time, and hard to achieve but when you have help all works out fine. I think it take imagination in this day to keep a cottage like this going, as of the expense. and would love to own one like this myself, if I thought it was possible. The garden with it’s beautiful buildings and statues is just lovely. Having tea and slowly wandering around is something I would thoroughly enjoy. Grey Walls is wonderful. I love those comfortable outings on a regular basis. I lived down our country lane from a winery, which I actually worked at also. After getting off work, I would sit at my fav table overlooking the farmland and sip my favorite wine.
It looked like Sofie and Peggy enjoyed Grey Walls too. So cute.
I bet you will be glad to get home. It's nice to visit, but there's no place like home.
I love to watch you at home cooking or in your garden. But seeing these stately manors is also fun. But as I said before, I am more into cosy then grandeur. But my Atkins side of the family is from Scotland but I doubt they lived in those magnificent houses.

Nissan Figaro. A Japanese Kei car from the 1990s. Only produced like 2 years, but is extremely popular as a cult classic because of its adorable styling.

Nicolas puts clotted cream on his scones before the jam like they do in Devon. I quite agree with him on this controversial topic.
💯 clotted cream, then jam!
but both cream and jam should be transferred to the plate before placing on the scone!
@@janeandlance1 I always thought that the rule of etiquette was that if there are two or more at the table, then you need to transfer the clotted cream and jam to the plate in front of you and not apply directly into the scone. However, if taking afternoon tea by one’s self, then it’s OK to apply the clotted cream and jam from the bowls directly to your scone.

I have never seen anyone transfer both cream and jam onto their plate..unless one is sharing.
I don't every recall having tea.. where they would make you share.
