Your natural voice spoken in a soft tone is much more appealing than whispered speech. You have such a lovely voice- it interferes with the quality. If you listen to some ASMR posts that are spoken in Japanese, the quality of voices in a soft tone is what is appealing more than not being able to understand the spoken text unless you read the subs. Your voice is calming as it is. Best of luck with your new channel. This is just a suggestion and not meant to be critical. 😀

Some of you have no idea with ASMR is, do you. Everything he was doing in the video appeals to someone in the ASMR community. If it’s not for you, you know what to do. Simple as!

I understand that people do not understand ASMR but they don't have to watch this channel. I love soft spoken ASMR vs whispering and I like tapping and page turning vs mouth sounds so this video was right up my alley, especially with sweet Sophie in the background. I would not, however, complain if his ASMR style was not my taste, I'd just carrying on watching his other channel.

The whisper voice might be distracting. Everyone enjoyed your asmr-like effect in normal videos with your normal voice, why not just leave your voice the same for asmr channel too?
I agree. If you just speak in a soft tone, in your regular voice, I feel it would be much more appealing. I am a big fan of ASMR and steer away from the whispers and tapping/ scratching sounds. It’s just my opinion, however I wish you luck whatever you decide. 😀

Dont worry about all the mixed comments on whisper vs normal voice - so many asmr channels post different styles of videos because different ppl like different things. I enjoyed this style alot, and also enjoy your normal voice. I dont think you can go wrong!

Love to listen to you. But please speak in your normal voice. It’s already soothing as it is. Speaking in a lower tone is distracting. Used to your normal voice. What we’re all used to. Idk if you’re trying to whisper to be more relaxing. Sounds bit more forced. 🥰😍
I felt that way too. His regular voice is very measured and soothing. This sounds almost like he is straining to whisper, if that makes sense. 😊

I do think I prefer your normal voice which is soothing and easy on the ears. I think your advice to relax is timely as we are always pushed to be active at all times and if we want to just take in a garden or the calm of a sitting room there must be something off about us. I loved your book selection and enjoyed the reading. I always loved walking for long stretches but my back is not cooperating lately and I miss the fresh air and watching the changes in nature. Thank you for the uploads and enjoy the new year.

I was attempting to say that I don't think you need to change your voice. Your normal speaking voice from your other channel is already perfect for ASMR. You ought to consider speaking with that same voice on this channel too, that is my opinion. Thank You!

Nicholas, you have a beautiful naturally spoken voice. To me it is diminished by the whisper voice. I think you can show your books and anything else in your natural voice and it will be very soothing. Maybe leave some quiet spots and just show activities like baking, but explain in your natural voice throughout. Just my view! Cheers for trying something new!! Love you!❤

I'm from Brazil and I loved your asmr, it's really very elegant and very good. I loved.
Ideas: some "how to" vids like ironing, folding, polishing silver, working in your garden. Organizing closets, drawers, cabinets....or even filling out/writing in your calendar. These are all natural triggers for me, usually they are unintentional asmr.

Love this - when I need to really relax I’m going to turn to this channel. A few comments on how whispery your voice is - I guess they missed the point. It’s supposed to be relaxing with your beautiful, soothing voice.

I love Deeda's silvery blue rooms.. thats one of my favorite colors, I painted my bedroom a similar color a couple years back. The monochromatic works although it can be a bit too relaxed and a bit sleepy sometimes..which is perfect for a bedroom lol

Two years ago, I accidentally and delightfully discovered your UA-cam channel and tune in for every episode. I was particularly intrigued by the comfort of your voice and pleased you are starting this new channel and wish you all the best, Nicolas. I understand this channel is brand new and you're experimenting and hoping you're open to a suggestion. I recommend you might use your normal speaking voice which comes across as genuine, personable, relaxing and familiar. The soft voice on ASMR channel sounds too dramatic and is distracting. What do ya think?

Congratulations. Great effort for your first ASMR video. Suggestion: Describe what is on the page vs. saying ‘it is beautiful...’ Maybe state the texture, the arrangement, the color (vibrant, soft, bold), the environment, the location. Hope you find this helpful not judgmental. U.S.A.
