My dad had a 67 slanted six….He said the odometer went around twice….then it broke…but he drove it a few more years! Tough old trucks..thanks for the trip down memory lane!
@tcfinds your so lucky to have rust free stuff down south. Here in mn/nd that truck would be long gone. My sister and her family live in leander, is that close to you?
I would get rid of that carb it's not the carb that came on that engine I doubt it's even a carter carb because if it had a carter carb that slant would fire right up anyway that's a sweet truck with my favorite front end of the 1960 Dodge trucks
After seeing the community post on this beaut, I thought to myself...I don't recall seeing this video!! So, you know what was in order..yup, you guessed it!! Oh how I had forgotten the beautiful never ending inner fenders on those! Truck came out great and I'm sure it had something to do with the work you did! Keep up the great work! Blessings and respect!
I'd have to get rid of the grillguard. Man near me has a 68 CAMPER SPECIAL 3/4 ton Dodge sweptside LWB 4sp 318. It's straight with some surface rust. It's lite blue also.but he's asked 5k 4k was as low as he would go. RIDE SAFE!
I just did the same thing with a square body Chevy. Just got done pressure washing it. Still needs oil change and the other things. What an addiction we have lol.
*Buy an old truck!* 😁 That's a true statement Tyler! I like the Ice truck. Those mirrors are cool but the grill guard is sweeet! Glad you could get it running my friend. I enjoyed the video. I know you said last video you were doing the editing yourself. I think you done a fantastic job. I think you have great potential to go far on this platform. Things go slow on here unfortunately BUT keep at it and you'll be rolling in subscribers before you know it! Keep wrenching, be safe and have fun! 🔧🔩
Thanks for the words of encouragement, it’s so weird hitting or not hitting the algorithm. My highest vid was one I rushed to do, and it blew up. Everyone says consistency is key, I plan for 5 years, then evaluate.

My pleasure. Yes they are, sad I got rid of this one.
Tyler, i love watching your awesome videos.
I appreciate that! Thank you for the support!
My Dad had a bunch of those slant six 225s in the 60s through the 90s. He would run them up to 300,000 miles. Great motors.
I haven’t had good luck with them, most of them I’ve got are locked up.
WAY TO GO !
What a sweet truck...the patina on the tailgate is killer man
Yeah it is, back up for sale for 1500 bucks lol

@@MidnightPolaris800 that’s just a couple hours north east of me.
Love those sweptline Dodges. Had a few. Can't kill old slant 6
Cool old truck. Needs and air cleaner.
Back in the mid 80's I worked with a friend of mine that I think owned that truck we worked for a garage in north Austin and cedar park.
That may track. That’s awesome.
Your daughter will remember the smell of that old Dodge long after we’re gone…good times!
Yes she will!
BIEN. AMIGO
Ha I just brought home a 69, saw it on marketplace super cheap and just had to have it. Wife isn't super impressed 😅
Yeah my wife is mostly discouraged with my finds lol

Good stuff , really enjoying your channel. Maybe lower music volume when you’re talking? Just sayin’…. Subscribed!
Yeah I’m not the most technically inclined guy but working through the editing kinks, the TVM edited vids hopefully make up for my ineptitude lol

He’s asking dealer price!
@@tcfinds what would be your top dollar just off the top your head? I thought 3500 would be tops. But he won't do 3500
3500 max in my opinion
@TC Finds I'll send you some pics if you want to see it.
