You can see mojitos done with sprite, foreigner rums, club soda, some people crush the leaves, some other the hole leaves with the stem, some people use vodka or tequila. They all are right and they can taste Fabulous, but they are not the original. The original mojito: (Mix in this order) T spoon sugar One whole Yerba buena ( not mint) Crush the stem, leave the leave intact Add 1/2 onz lemon juice Add water and stir till the sugar is disolved Add 2 onz of white rum Add ice cubes Fill with water to the top Add 3 drops or 1 dash of angostura bitter Enjoy This is the original.

@@roll. I'm a professional bartender and I worked on wall street. On that mojito you only put 1.5 oz of a good bacardi rum. What is the drink police have to do with??
Thats how i do it without any knowlodge, but only ingredients. Nice 👍
So I've been basically doing it all wrong lol! Great video man! Thanks :) By the way, what is the big difference in taste without having the club soda? I will try it at home :)
Your love for one another is inspiring - what we all hope to find with our friends.
“Atleast 1 ounce”
Or 30 seconds of glugs
Just take ,,two shots of Vodka"

Very interesting way to make a mojito. I'll have to try it that way.
A splash of seltzer would make it perfect 👌
Best mojito I had was that upstairs bar overlooking the old city in Havana. It was amazing
sometimes the easiest things are the best things. mojito is my all time favorite.

Well, thanks to the bartender Luiban Fernández H. for sharing his recipe. 💫
Mojito's, my absolute favorite cocktail! :) So it's off to Cuba I go!
That lady in the back is patiently waiting lol. I'll be mad if I have to make mojitos like that where I work at and get stiffed.
When ingredient is genuine and good that makes a big difference!
Federica Ciao, I agree. Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment.
My daughter's family is from the here. We've got to go
You will love it. It's an amazing place.
I make them this way now, everyone can't get enough of them!
Elias Bardis, Awesome!
Hemingway did not make Mojito famous he made Daiquiri famous he has no idea.
Wrong!! Mojitos.. he loved to drink mojitos with his cute young Cuban boys.
Hemingway didn’t invent or made famous the mojitos and Daiquiris. They were already famous. Hemingway did make famous the papas Hemingway!!!! A grapefruit extra shot daiquiri. Although he split his bar nights between el floridita and la bodeguita del medio. El floridita was his favorite. That’s the reason you can see a whole body bronze statue of himself in el floridita.
I use to say that there is no mojitos done right or wrong. Simply they are not the classic or the original. You can see mojitos done with sprite, foreigner rums, club soda, some people crush the leaves, some other the hole leaves with the stem, some people use vodka or tequila. They all are right and they can taste Fabulous, but they are not the original.
The original mojito:
(Mix in this order)
T spoon sugar
One whole Yerba buena ( not mint)
Crush the stem, leave the leave intact
Add 1/2 onz lemon juice
Add water and stir till the sugar is disolved
Add 2 onz of white rum
Add ice cubes
Fill with water to the top
Add 3 drops or 1 dash of angostura bitter
Enjoy
This is the original.
@@aldovitohe you know that Yerba buena is only the spanish notation for mint? There is no such plant as Yerba buena which differs to mint...
@@aldovitohe , Thanks for taking the time for such a nice explanation.
@@aldovitohe I've watched about six mojito videos today and each was different.. I wasn't aware that they were made with spoonfuls of sugar I assume they all use syrup. I have to say it's one of the prettiest drinks. It looks like it tastes, clean and refreshing.
He takes pride in his work. A true professional.
A great philosopher once said " Mojito baby! "
Make that man famous making more videos of him on the other drinks too. He seems to be honest and simple person.
I had Emilio Estefan make me a mojito, and boy... it was gooooood :D
Haha, I'm sure it was! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.
Wow yummy sir sarap, mojito, watching from philippines
Next time I top off the glass with Rum like he did. If someone asks how much Rum I’ll shrug shoulders and say It’s the metric system.
Esto es en Cienfuegos Cuba 🇨🇺 mi ciudad cienfuegos 😍😍😍😍 cuanta nostalgia
No club soda! That's the way my Cuban friend makes them, too.
Ive been to Cuba twice and spent a month and a half and I have STILL been making mojitos wrong! Thank you and thank you to the bar tender.
