Cool to see this kick off. I hadn't been paying attention, but hearing about 190,000 lbs as a total load makes it clear why it's a challenge when you work in a hilly field.
And. Another 60k for the tractor,

As I watch this video on May 5th, I seen 2 farmers just starting to hook up their drills today in north central North Dakota. Everyone was getting ready to go seeding about a month ago, then we got a blizzard that dropped 3+ feet of heavy wet snow, fallowed by another 6 inches of freezing rain and snow about a week later. Good luck and hope seeding is going well for you all!

Absolutely loving that new Fendt, it's not often to see the the green/red in North America but boy are they pretty
I never thought about that the whole setup is so so heavy. Around 250,000lbs per setups is incredible
And just like that, 2022 seeding kicks off, best of luck , we are praying you get all the rains you need.
I hope that we will have the pleasure to see ASHTYN & CHAPEL on the fendt ...

We haven't even started here in West Central Minnesota yet. The ground is getting close but is has been wet here. Now they are calling for rain for the three days starting tomorrow. I hope we don't get a lot. Good luck & stay safe for the 2022 seeding season.
Finished planting spuds last week so onto repairs a tractor to pull apart hydrarlic probs love the channel yep we need to see your good lady in the driving seat and Mike holding the baby :))

The scale you guys are working on is just unbelievable. I'm from the UK so we have nothing even close to that. 200+hp is a big tractor over here

Buddy seat is for the little one our little momma raised 6 kids between her and pops in the buddy seat. She was a wonder woman drove every piece of equipment we had unfortunately passed with leukemia just over 40 .
If i was seeding my fields with a unit like this it would take me about 30 minutes or less.. Your farm is enormous.. Greetings from Greece!

Hi Mike on the bright side of things in manitoba, if you like to fish, all our lakes are now back to normal or even heigher levels after dropping constantly for 3 straight years. Lots of water this spring so far thats for sure. No seeding here yet

Here in Oklahoma we have the wet problem we've gotten 17 in since the beginning of the year and five of them have been in the last week like I have a river in my front yard
How much acres do you seed this year and how big is your biggest field? :D
Just an observation that as I look across the landscape there isn't a broadleaf weed anywhere in sight which tells me that the ground is really cold. If the weeds don't grow nothing else will either as they can grow in much colder soil temperatures than grains and lentils to start germinating.
That's why we seed treat so that the seeds can sit in the ground until it warms up.
Kids grow up wont be long and both will be seeding with you!

Mike, that's roughly 86 tonnes, without the machine planting / running in the soil. That's crazy. You'll need double the amount of HP to pull the same weight here in SA.
The whole loaded rig is about ± 114 metric tons = 251,000 lbs ( loaded cart + drill = 86t + 28t tractor ).

Seems like some extension hoses/couplers would solve the hitch swing problem for minimal investment.
I'm excited to see how the Fendt 1167 does with planting compared to the others, i have been waiting for this video since i saw the revel video for the Fendt 1167. I hope you guys have a safe and smooth planting season and get some rain to help out with the drought.
Now that we know the weight specs of the units plus the specs of drills & carts one remaining question is whose tractor has the best coffee cup holder configuration!

Oh boy.. That's tough 😆the 1167 I would think. The Deere is good but with the location of the X35 it's alittle harder to get too

Hey mike our farm is in central Manitoba and we had so much snow and it melted so fast all our fields and pastures were in standing water. Once the water finally pushed through it drained pretty fast.

I love your equipment
I heard you say something about 40 50 bushel yield we couldn't make it here in Tennessee with that kind of yield this year we had a really really good wheat crop we averaged 120 bushels per acre that's hard red winter wheat
You also don’t have 50,000 acres either so his cost per acre is far less than yours.
2-track pro-tip: Use your hitch to steer when you are getting stuck, not your steering wheel!
