They went on holiday to Hawaii. It rained all the time. Guess the only thing they could do was boom boom.

On those long straight rows, why not unload on the go into the semi trailer instead instead of running back and forth with a tractor and grain cart to the combine and truck-?
It would mean less augering of the lentils resulting in less fines and less ground compaction from 18 or more truck wheels than 8 or more wheels on a tractor and cart.

the compaction of a loaded semi is far greater then that of a grain cart or combine. The Semi trucks don't leave the shoulder of the field for not only that but also it's too hard trucks and trailers to be driving them the fields.
We don't even allow pickup trucks to drive across the fields.

@@mikemitchell2554 Mike, thanks for your reply.
Some grain carts are heavier when loaded that a loaded semi.
Its just as easy driving a semi on a long straight row and it in no big deal turning when a few 50 foot passes have been cut.
Bullhooey, I've seen pickups & maintenance drive across stubble.

@@John-nc4bl no worries, I always enjoy visiting 🙂
      Perhaps, but our semi's don't I guess 🤷🏼‍♂️
Our pickups don't either for 1: fire risk is extreme, 2: gopher & badger holes (its a mine field out there) , 3: washouts
Some guys might do that, but we don't, 🙂

Mount like a 'skid' plate under the pickups cat. converter and muffler or some of Elon Musks Starship heat shield tiles- 😊 to preclude a fire wiping out one of those 6,000 acre wheat fields.
Have you seen Trevor Struthers latest video titled, 'Tractors fighting fire - Combine lost' in the Palouse.
That dude makes impressive videos worth seeing.

So I looked at Small green lentils online and found that they sell for $47 USA dollars per pound. So, what does a bushel of small green lentils sell for? So do those lentils sell for $220 per bushel

      Likely significantly less than 47
