I just start watching your videos a few days ago and honestly brother... your videos changed my life. I was exposed to stoicism through your videos as well and I’m really really latching onto that and I’ve killed it these last two days, some of the most mentally and physically and spiritually healthy days of my entire life... after having a life packed full with depression, suicidal thoughts, and anxiety, your videos honestly may have just changed my life.
Big fan, boss. I just wanted to say that for 2 months now I've been doing a bunch of the things you talk about like journalling, nofap, meditation, cold showers etc. and it's genuinely made the biggest difference in my schoolwork as well as my emotional and physical wellbeing. I've been watching for a long time, but only recently have I begun to actually improve significantly. :)
Malcolm X's story saved my life as well. Even at a persons lowest point, a story providing evidence of such radical self transformation can give any degenerate the hope of giving their pain profound meaning. Reading that book was truly where my life was turned around for the better, glad to know I'm not alone in this regard!
Now list your favorite 5 books that you just enjoyed reading the most. Here are mine: 1. Shogun - James Clavell 2. The Old Man and the Sea - Ernest Hemingway 3. The Great Gatsby - F Scott Fitzgerald 4. To Have and To Have Not - Earnest Hemingway 5. By George - The Autobiography of George Foreman
I literally have a poster of Malcolm X because of his autobiography. It’s a reminder not to take a single day for granted and strive for the better good “by any means necessary”. Not to mention that X started as some underprivileged nobody from omaha Nebraska, the man is a true inspiration. Great video Sinbad! :)
Talking about the power of thought... I haven't thought about it until just now, when I saw this episode. But I was doing some journaling. In January 2020 I wrote down several goals I wanted to hit within 6 moths of writing them. These goals were ambitious to say the least. Some, I had no idea how I was going to accomplish them. But I new it my goals were necessary and I worked hard each day, with these goals in mind. I wanted to gain 30lbs muscle... and I did. I wanted to get accepted into a 4 year university... and I did! And I wanted to pay off $12,000 in debt... and I payed off and negotiated down $40,000 in debt!!!!! I thought these were impossible goals within the time period. But I wrote down my needs, I worked toward my needs, and I attained them!! Thanks for the content, Captain Sinbad!
No offence but Gandhi was a public figure the real hard workers are subash chandra bose, lal bahadhur shastri at the same time he was helpless so that's it.
My boss always tell me I should stop reading, but why would I? Learning, the pursuit of knowledge, is one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself. Become the best you that you can be.
Chetneet Chouhan I come in with a new thought, new connections of information, support of an idea, or a fresh and broadened perspective. Most people do not put as much effort into their thinking and do not see the value in it.
@@Martick05545 I asked you because my parents does the same. Haha. I was looking for another perspective. Actually, I am writing an article on it for my website. So you can say thats for my research. Haha.
"Thought power" I would really wanna read it... Captain, you are giving pure self-improvement content.........From your videos, I came to know about the two great books.. 1 Can't hurt me 2 discipline equals freedom I am on the verge of completing one of em..
While not exactly a self help/self improvement book, I really like The Structure of Scientific Revolutions by Thomas Kuhn. Helped me frame the world in a much more useful and clear way
The book that changed my life the most was thoe one about the worm that was never satiated, ate through all kinds of food, got fat and turned into a butterfly. Currently still waiting to grow wings
Have missed you. Your extraordinary energies and talents overwhelmed me for a bit. Developed a man crush on you, and had to get that into perspective. So nice to be back!
Gotta appreciate the random shots like you buying stuff from the supermarket. Adds a nice touch even though I would assume it can be troublesome to film
Just the first 2 minutes of this video made my whole week feel better and not so heavy anymore! Thank you very much. Your light in your videos make a very big difference in my life!
I have to thank you. You already helped me to change my life to the better. Never breaking the chain, drinking Lemon water, making a day Plan, Brainstorming and sure a few other things. All this helped me to transmute my energy better and manifest more change. You are awesome ! :)
Another awesome content👍 I’ll like to read Show your Work. I’ve always believed in the idea of people demonstrating their idea/product rather than talking about it... Hope the book expands on that...
The slight edge was the first self development book I read when I was 13 and it changed my perspective completely. The futility of being unnecessary moody and complaining. I realised my philosophy creates my mindset which reflect onto my actions and life and since then I have adopted a positive and optimistic mindset and have been obsessed with these books.
I'm gonna buy Thought Power. I've been wanting to buy a book from a Hindu saint. Thank you. Also, I love how your channel is growing so fast. I remember watching you during your nofap era and I asked myself why has he not exploded in UA-cam. Seeing you grow makes me happy. Also the fact that you take the time to read almost all your comments. Kudos.

Napoleon Hill made a chapter about Special Knowledge in his Book "Think and Grow Rich". A lot of well known and rich people do not have done the college. You've read Swami Sivananda! That's awesome Nikhil ji. Just started following you on Insta after watching ton of your videos continuously. You're a great guy. Thank You so much 🙏🏻 ॐ
I highly recommend the book The Magickian by Phillip Cooper. Its a book explaining metaphysical magick like sorcery. Its often recognized as one of the best books on the subject. Law of attraction is in this category. But explains how and why it works also. That the world is a projection of your subconscious mind. And how to control that projection.
Nice nowadays people search on the internet when they need to learn something and attention span for an unknown reason diminished, it is good to read once in a while a book that helps in what we are doing in order to make progress or be inspired
