Wish you luck man, I'm 18 and trying to prepare for entrance exams too, tough times. Your comment really put things into perspective for me. You got this, we got this!
i think 18-24 is just hard in general. everyone's trying to figure out and everyone's pretending they got it all. except ofc if they're going for conventional fields then things are different
Another way of thinking about the fundamentals is something called "The Mundanity of Excellence" - the idea is that all of the most successful people in world live very mundane lives i.e. each day is practically the same. They wake up and go to bed the same time. They eat the same healthy meals every day. They put hours into their craft every single day. This compounded over years and decades is what leads to success.

College is definitely not for "suckers" Generally if you study well and get internships you'll be good for your next move. Maybe just take some time and figure out what you're doing. And no, you don't need to become a pipe welder first to go to college. However, if that makes sense for your situation then do it. My buddy went to Waterloo for Software Engineering and he will start at about 200k USD total compensation in his first year out. He would not have gotten that job without college and internships. He was just a regular, but very intelligent, middle class kid. Becoming a physician, lawyer, accountant, engineer, working in high finance all generally require college. If you do it right it can easily be one of the best decisions you've ever made.
You're already in, so you need to understand where you are in relation to Student Loan programs and debt. If you haven't had to take out any of those, you should be fine. If you have, you need to rethink your strategy. The only people who have the privilege of "finding themselves" in college are the Rich. If you're one of those, then you should be fine. If you're not, find the shortest degree program that you can, within a growing field that you think you can perform well in, and push through. Understand accounting. Understand business. Plan for the future.

Hi Captain Sinbad, your channel has changed over the years -- You have moved away from nofap videos and moved into the more general, self-help genre. Can you do a video discussing this transition? Do you still feel those lessons you discussed in previous years are still relevant? You are speaking much less of the law of attraction, have you stopped believing in this? Any discussion of the growth of your channel would be hugely appreciated, I'm sure many of us would like to hear about this. Keep up the great work, Kyle.

Great video as always! I‘m only 20, but if I might add a few things I‘ve learned from my own mistakes: 1. Focus on your roots. This goes in line with what is said within this video about doing art for art‘s sake. Two years ago I had decided I needed to be an entrepreneur, chase big money so I could then sponsor my own creative endeavors. Theoretically a great idea, but it made me miserable in the long run as it wasn’t what I truly cared about and even worse: it kept me from doing the things I loved. I‘m not saying you shouldn’t be an entrepreneur, but you should make your entrepreneurship about something you really love and can get behind. That’s why I am now back to writing as much as possible UNTIL I can make money from it, not the other way around. 2. Keep your doors open Last year I received an offer for a well paying job that I rejected because I wanted to focus on my business. In the end my business crashed and burned despite all my work. I should’ve at least tried that job out and see how it fits together with my business. Working for yourself is great, but stability can be a great asset while you are building something truly special. Take care guys, stay strong and keep chasing your dreams. Greatness is coming!

Nikhil, During the long weekend I went on a solo hike up to the Guadalupe Mountains National Park in Texas. This is the tallest peak with a 3000 ft elevation gain from ground and I wanted to challenge myself by doing it. 20% more to the top, I ran outta water, my quad muscles started aching, peak noon time and I started to give up / wanting to go back. Then I started thinking - What would Captain Sinbad do? What would he say? How would the Indian Dad push us forward? I started recalling all the motivational videos you did and that pushed me to the top. Took me a while but I did it and I had tears of joy. There's a book at the top where folks write their names and messages with dates. This was my message - "I did it!! First solo hike. Keep up with the perseverance because greatness is coming" Thank you, mate, for pushing me at that time and for the content you put out! 💯 ♥

I have started doing meditation and taking cold showers everyday because of understanding the long term benefits of them ( thank to you) . I love your videos btw
I am 25 right now Cap/Nikhil and can relate to most of the things you told...Having a basic routine in place, A financial backup so that you can invest in your Art and think about longevity, upgrading self to date your ideal goals (Personal, Professional, Social), Self-learning through online platforms/audiobooks/self-practice... everything is so on Point. I feel like I have lost atleast 2-3 years not being really conscious about self-development and not learning these things when I was 22-23, but whatever done is done. I discovered you last April while Learning about No Fap and you feels like an elder Brother to me. Keep going Brother...Know that someone is watching you and getting inspired. And being an Artistic individual, I can relate with bit of your weirdness as well. Greatness is there❣️ And I would like to know the Outro Music as well 🎶

During the long weekend I went on a solo hike up to the Guadalupe Mountains National Park in Texas.
This was my message -
"I did it!! First solo hike. Keep up with the perseverance because greatness is coming"
Thank you, mate, for pushing me at that time and for the content you put out! 💯 ♥
As a 18 year old I appreciate this video. I can relate to a couple of these things.
I've been watching all your videos almost back to back for a couple weeks now, and the beginning of this skillshare ad truly had me cracking up, keep killing it bro
I NOTICE A GREAT CHANGE IN THUMBNAIL QUALITY
WOULD LOVE TO KNOW A STORY BEHIND THAT ABOUT YOUR SKILL IMPROVEMENT
Great video bhai. Your videos have improved my life a lot. Keep going!
YOO GOD DAMN I WAS JUST THINKING " When Captain Sindbad makes a new vid imma recommend him to make a 'things I wish I knew when I was a teenager' just the other day. God damn dude.
You're Awesome. Thank you for the awesome content you give us!
My 18th birthday is tomorrow, this video came just at the right time
Dude these videos are awesome. The badass walking and talk over!
"Keep playing these games and you're going to be in the Shadow of a Legend, Bro."

I watched your David Goggins and Joe Rogan videos and thought they were hilarious but didn’t think much of them. Your Batman video popped up on my recommended page, gave it a watch, and now I’m hooked on your content. As a 17 year old myself, I’m gonna try and keep all of this advice in mind moving on. Thank you.
Oops there goes your Raid Shadow Legends sponsorship Nikhil
*Help arrives when I Need them most another stimulus video of captain 🙏 arrived as I felt down.. this hit like a nail in the wood..sharp and clean 🔥*
Captain''i wanna look like Christian bale" sinbad
I'm a 20 year old guy in Thailand and your channel has help me immensely in pursuing my art career. Thank you for doing this and your channel is so damn underrated.
Really think this guy should have at least a million subs by now; but hey, I’m not the one missing out.
You are so much right in terms of the basics. I think most people are way too impatient to focus on the fundamental things
You are amazing :)
perfect timing once again Cap, I'm 18 and for some reason have been feeling down. Thanks for picking me up! And more importantly, giving me the tools to pick myself up!

Captain " you need skillshare" Sinbad
Keep making vids like this. This is what I needed as and 18 year old who was unhappy in a cubicle surrounded by old ppl
"Eat some elk." Some quality advice right there.
Man, your videos are really helping me to grow, thank you.
Captain "Eat some elk" Sinbad haha. Someone's been watching Joe Rogan.
Best ad drop I've ever seen. I wasn't even bugged by it that it was in the middle of the video. Well done you sly devil, well done.
Putting on for the brown boys
Haha, this is earliest I've been to a video, within one minute of its posting and it just so happens to be about advice for 18 year olds while I have turned 18 under 3 months ago! Amazing.
WHY DID WE CONCEIVE YOU
That got me ngl
Everyone makes this type of videos and just repeat stuff, Cap here gives the hardest truths and realest advice. You’re amazing Captain 🔥
Friend: I need life advice do you have any
Me: Oh ik exactly what you need
The best part is when you say - "Greatness is coming , cheers "
You are improving every second and so am I because of your channel .
Greatness is there❣️
And I would like to know the Outro Music as well 🎶
Hi Nikhil bhai and everyone who is watching... Hope you have a great day and stay safe
Amazing video - so well done and said
Omg I am an lndian and your 'indian dad' impressions are eirely spot on lmao
Captain Sinbad: "I went to college and majored in chemistry to try to make my parents happy, but because I wasn't passionate about the subject or really just not that amazing at science I mostly got B's and C's.. "
Me: "Is he describing my life?"
I'm literally studying chemistry and I'm not that into that subject so I am at the 6th year of studies even though the university studies are meant to be 4 years 😅
I'm really passionate about playing the piano but you know parents think that this should stay just as a hobby.. 😢 Any advice there? ☺️
Im 20 years old and I feel like my back is being poured on with hot lava.
Thank you for this mate. Been going through an annoying patch myself.
Glad that your "When Indian Men Fall in Love
" popped on my recommendations hehe.
*Me at 17, watching this*: Thank you homie 😊
Well done on your UA-cam channel! Congrats dude, you've got great potential!
