Lastly, we had two gay men as our neighbors who were incredibly kind and committed to one another. One of them had a seven year old son, and when the son would stay at their home, the men slept in separate rooms and gave the boy his own room.The father told me that he wisely thought it would’ve been weird for the kid to deal with his dad being homosexual. Btw the dad worked at the university and told me that one day while he was in a staff meeting the women there accused him of being anti-gay rights for some reason. He didn’t tell them he was gay because he didn’t feel he should have to talk about his sexuality , unlike the women whose whole identity was that. What a difference , and other gay men I’ve known have been like that too. Just sayin’…when I was a kid

I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. So, when I heard them saying something I didn't understand, I'd ask what it meant or why they said it. That was typically the response I got. It's a pity. You'd think if they really believed their own rhetoric they'd want to, idk, share it??? I was a single mother but not a feminist in the way feminism has become so twisted. We lived in a coastal university town in northern Ca. My son went to the university one year but changed to another one in another place after his first year at the woke school.
It was sooo weird. One day he was riding home on the bus and saw a female student sitting there who was stark naked and she was telling off any guy who even looked at her (this had become a town held hostage by radical gay women ). Another event was when a large group of lesbians boycotted a male professor’s classes and stood outside his classroom heckling him.
A bunch of these feminist women had a car wash one day on the main street , all of them naked but god forbid any guy staring !
Lastly, we had two gay men as our neighbors who were incredibly kind and committed to one another. One of them had a seven year old son, and when the son would stay at their home, the men slept in separate rooms and gave the boy his own room.The father told me that he wisely thought it would’ve been weird for the kid to deal with his dad being homosexual.
Btw the dad worked at the university and told me that one day while he was in a staff meeting the women there accused him of being anti-gay rights for some reason. He didn’t tell them he was gay because he didn’t feel he should have to talk about his sexuality , unlike the women whose whole identity was that. What a difference , and other gay men I’ve known have been like that too.

Two people commited to loving each other make a promise to not go around shouting "I'm gay" because they being gay is something that is what they are, and not their etiquette. They also not sleeping together for their son not think it's weird is actually (Although it is not really healthy for a couple's relationship to not sleep together) one of the best modern "parenting tricks" i have seen recently because it thinks outside the modern "My life my choice" belief by considering how having non-heterossexual parents can impact a children's mind. A lot of people are so entitled to the belief "My life my choice" that they usually forget the impacts of their choices on other people. I wish more people with as much as awareness as that couple had the influence to actually spread more of the "It is my life, but sometimes my choices can impact others" belief.
