I side loaded the app for SCW camera system using the -g flag thru my laptop. With an orientation app now I am able to use an old firestick as my NVR display.
@@AutomateYourLife One of the few video surveillance systems not ban by the NDAA due to privacy concerns over Chinese cameras. I am sure it would work with other brands like night owl, lorex, etc.
My point is that you are right. These firesticks have a lot of potential. As far as having problems with sideloads. Glad it was helpful!
Wow, one can do a lot with this thing. It would be nice if you ORGANIZED your presentation so that one could leap over what they know cold and get to the items they might like to learn about. For instance, do you have to 'sign up' with Amazon in order to use this thing to watch TV? If so, what does it cost?
This is Hidden Tips and Tricks, not beginner's guide to Fire Sticks. That means there's no portion about signing up with Amazon or basic setup stuff like that. Sorry Norm. If you want that, look for a basic setup tutorial! Here's an old one we did: ua-cam.com/video/yjNTbzxuwmk/v-deo.html
Love the idea of the tiny can app. Great video
Thanks Charlie!
What dryer sensor is that?
Sadly, it's a dead company
Where can I find Fire TV Stick 2nd generation apps and info?
Apps can be downloaded right on the device. You just have to go to the apps section :)
Thank you very much I didn’t know about the remote on your phone so I have now downloaded the app
Stay safe
Glad I could help! Enjoy!
What timestamp please?
@@tomasotreasaigh111 I can't find the Airscreen app you talking about. Do you think it has changed name or the look of the icon?
where can i buy one of the smartdry magnet inside the washer machine

@@AutomateYourLife can't find the item on amazon...SmartDry magnet
Is it possible to connect Arlo cameras to a Firestick?
You should be able to ask Alexa to bring up your Arlo cameras. Absolutely. Use the Alexa app :)
#sharethelove. Great vidoe keep them up
Will do sir!
Great tips! I have that remote app and it’s perfect. Especially the keyboard option, for typing in email addresses and passwords.
Yes it does! Love that!
Thanks, Nice info. is there any way that we can setup, that run couple of tv shows one after another directly without any human intervention (considering old age people), please suggest if any.
If you're in the US, try a watch party!
I have two Apple BlueTooth keyboards. One is programed to control the AppleTV, the other controls the Amazon FireStick. One of those was only $5.00 at Goodwill!
OH that's a good one! Also, little jealous of the price there....
Can you explain how to use a Mi Box 4 S & a Logitech 920 webcam with Zoom Meetings on a TV. Tried it but got no audio sound when trying to meet.
Sorry, no...I don't have the Mi Box
What about a echo studio instead of two speakers.?
Amazing choice! Go for it!
Hey I got a question for you I've got a Toshiba Fire TV smart TV for 3L f421 u19 it was made in 2018 of October I'm having an issue with the sleep app on the TV it keeps shutting off and then he has a hard time getting it back to Xfinity what is your answer Obi-Wan Kenobi!!?? This guy has got memory issues and I've been trying to fix his system it keeps shutting off and I don't know how to get to the settings on the TV can you make a video about that, I don't have a manual for the TV where can I download the manual or if you got a quick fix I would really appreciate it thanks for all your help.
I'm sorry...I'm not sure what's going on there and it would be reaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllyyyy hard to diagnose from here.
Great idea about being able to use a Echo device near where you are sitting as a microphone. It would be helpful to explain how to "link" that Echo to a Fire TV Stick or Cube.
Can do Frank! Will do, even :)
Great idea! I was trying to figure that out a couple nights ago so I don't have to turn my TV up or wear earbuds to keep from disturbing everyone in the house.
I have an fire TV and I'm wondering do they have a camera in the middle of the TV because I feel like I'm been watched
That will depend on the brand. Not all Fire TVs are made by Amazon
Is there a way to rid your FS of the junk that Amazon puts on? I don’t use them & they take up space....ty
Not that I've used, sorry Sassy!
Yes there is but i wouldn't advise it. You have to go into the software and it causes more issues than fixes. So just avoid it IMO
Sassy if your hell bent on it check out techdoctoruk channel. He has videos on it but if you dont have a degree in computer engineering or a very high level of it its best to avoid it.
Sassy if you are using a 4k firestick or 2gen fire tv box then go over to the TechDoctoruk UA-cam channel he has a video on how to get rid of all that pre-loaded stuff....... it’s very easy to do all you have to do is download an application....I did it on my fire sticks and they work perfect no problems at all... the name of the video is called SPEED UP FIRESTICK BY REMOVING AMAZON BLOATWARE..
What is that usb stick that you can plug that other device in the side? And where can I get one.....
Which video doorbell did you say you had? I couldn't make out what you said. Thanks
It's a Eufy that I had!
New Firestick stopped working after a week. Ordered new industrial batteries that haven't arrived yet. Tried to reset remote, but I'm not techy. Could it just be bad batteries?
I got Alexa device but I don't know where to start my smart home and I really enjoy your videos
What's the first thing you want to automate?!

Great video. Where is the link to the TinyCam Pro tutorial? Also, I couldn’t find Air Screen in the iPhone App Store. 😞
Oh! ua-cam.com/video/98diXf0BuTg/v-deo.html
Automate Your Life Thank you sir!! 😁👍🏻
Automate Your Life So, I entered my Wyze Username and PW. Got a text with the 2FA. Tinycam Pro says to enter the code. But where? 🤷🏻♂️😞
Automate Your Life Well, it appears when I exited and re-entered TinyCam Pro it then asked me for the 2FA code. All good now! Thanks again!! 😉👍🏻
I am thinking of setting up my TV by purchasing 2x Echo 3rd Gens. Can I put them at the rear end of my living room? Will the sound also play from the TV or only on the speakers?
No sorry! It's only going to play on your Echo speakers, so while you can place the speakers anywhere you won't have the TV speakers
Where do you get the memory stick with micro hdmi for Amazon sticks
I don't think I had a micro hdmi one...actually.
You speak almost as fast as I do! Appreciate the information, but for the novice I needed to slow you down or relisten as I couldn't catch what you were saying. What I did understand, I appreciated!
Hey Karen - Sorry! I have been moving a little quicker lately that's for sure. Hopefully you can rewatch and if there's something not clear just ask :)
