It was over ninety degrees here in St. Louis when the call came in - there is a nursing mom hanging out behind Midwest Waste and she has at least three puppies. Just wait until you see these puppies...!

My dog got on my lap so she could watch the puppies when they were crying. Those puppies are almost as big as she is!
Mama Dog looks like she's never known kindness. She wanted to fade into the wall. The rescue girl was so good getting those puppies out from under. She just took her time and was so gentle.

Mama dog still looked so scared at the shelter, poor girl. I hope she adjusts well and gets adopted after she's spayed. At least they're all out of the heat and in a safe place.

she looks almost exactly like my dog that recently passed at 17 1/2. She was 1/2 Rottweiler,1/2 golden Retriever with a touch of German sheperd.
It's amazing how a puppy can bring a smile to the sadest person.

Thank you to everyone who helps precious animals. All of my pets have been rescues. I took 5 home with me from a bad situation and took 13 to the Humane Society and gave a donation. I still have the youngest of those 5 dogs. He
Is now 101/2. Because i am older now I will only adopt older dogs or hospice cases.
My heart broke when I saw homeless animals all over the streets of India and Africa and many other places. I was a flight attendant so i was at least able to help a few have a good day. I think that spay and neutering should be government funded all over
the world. We domesticated many animals and now it is up to us - the people - to take care
of these PRECIOUS SOULS!
Many humans keep having children that they can’t afford and many get financial support. Animals do not have that Privilege in most cases.
Let’s all do whatever we can to help these PRECIOUS SOULS!

This mama is feral, that's why she is so scared. She's never had human interaction as she was most likely born on the streets and now having babies on the streets.
