- In this video I review a $30ish 7x5ish poncho tarp.
I forgot to mention that when wearing as a poncho, the sides stay closes with velcro and it does have a waist strap and small snap to keep it snug when not wearing a pack.
Great review brother. Looks like an awesome and versatile poncho there. Thanks for taking the time to share it. Two thumbs up man.
Thank you! I don't really promote my channel and don't want to become a youtuber. I only do videos when I'm excited about something or get a piece of kit that I think someone else may enjoy.
@@tampajimmie11 You're more than welcome. Thanks again for sharing this one brother.
@@IntenseAngler hey hey so glad and cool to see its IA approved 👌 this is a super ultralight budget option just got mine today and wow amazing quality!!😌✌️💚✊️🔥
@@Canadian_Craftsman Haha! It's definitely an awesome lil' poncho/tarp for sure. I hope that you like yours as much as I've been enjoying mine. All the best my brother!
Had been looking at this. Thanks for taking the time to do such a good review!
You should get the XL size while you still can. I is huge and goes down to my feet as a poncho. I just love it as a shelter and as a poncho.
I might end up doing that. This smaller one is good for a single shelter if I'm say sitting up and not laying down. Occasionally I will hike out somewhere, set up a tarp and a camping chair, drink some coffee and do a carving.
@@tampajimmie11 I just went down in the rain to get my mail and there waiting was the size medium poncho. I opened it up by the mailbox and walked happily home. The XL is basically right down to my feet but I'm keeping it for a tarp because it's 8' long. Know what you mean about just getting out with a tarp, having coffee, relaxing - nice that you carve. I bet though your smaller one would work good if you tie one corner up high then stake out the 3 sides - play point I guess it's called. Neat that you carve. A buddy of mine used to always be carving spoons and I have 2 or 3 of his. They sure do mean a lot. I really love the one wind gear, and it's a third the price of sea to summit. Have fun in the woods and thanks for you video.
1:04 sure, because a bushcrafter's main concern is color 🙄.
You do realize that my comment was meant to be funny/sarcastic right?
@@tampajimmie11 tbh, I was not 100% sure but I didn't write what I said assuming you were totally serious
Haha! No worries. I run a bushcraft page on FB.
@@tampajimmie11 I wouldn't know, I don't do Facebook lol. UA-cam is the only social media I use and that's because I have been using it before the term social media 😂
