All the Prosecution's case is built on three OBJECTIVELY FALSE, or at least unproven, ideas: (1) a man whose father was dying and did die in three days needed to kill his wife and son to gain a delay of two weeks to a month; (2) people react ONLY with uncontrollable screaming OR paralysis at the sight of a shot loved one; and (3) the murders happened THE MINUTE Paul finished filming Cash's tail. In opposition to the second idea, I cite (a) Frame 371 of the Zapruder film: Jackie neither screamed nor was paralyzed the second JFK's head exploded IN Jackie's ARMS but climbed to the back of the President's limo to help Secret Service Agent Clint Hill climb to the moving limo; and (b) the Virginia school teacher who, though herself shot by six-year old student, ushered the rest of the class out of the room and into safety. Please rethink your comments and questions on a clean slate uncolored by the Prosecution's false ideas sold as gospel.
@@marieassaad-faltas1299 You clearly haven't been following this trial closely. You are incorrect that the prosecution's case is built on those three ideas alone. HAVE YOU SEEN THE EVIDENCE? The cellphone telemetry data, the OnStar vehicle GPS data, the phone call in which Alex is heard at the crime scene minutes before the murder occurred when he claimed he wasn't there. He will absolutely be found guilty of these murders without a shadow of a doubt. The three things you listed in a straw-man fashion are only part of the prosecution's case, and only act to fill in some of the gaps that are left by Alex's lack of admission and his dishonesty about the crimes he committed. You would make a horrible defense attorney.
@@collinbarnard207, first, I am NOT "an attorney" at all but, thank God, a very successful ADVOCATE for myself, and against some of the VERY people now trying to frame Alex Murdaugh for two murders. I am also a physician and surgeon and have experience in Pathology. NOTHING, but nothing, fixes the time of death in my view as "minutes" after the dog kennel video. It is a disgrace that the hill-billies of South Carolina think someone can put his hand, NOT EVEN A THERMOMETER, in a deceased's armpit and fix the time of death at 9:00 pm. PLEASE try to imagine the time of death even at 9:15 pm and view the evidence in that light. And frankly, the most shocking evidence of Alex Murdaugh's non-guilt came from Mark Tinsley's mouth: "I will burn your house down" he admitted saying to AM; then further bragged "make him an offer he can't refuse." Words out of the Godfather's mouth. Why would Godfather killings not have followed?

IF proven it was him: as you can write any name into donation field. I see it as a sign of support for a woman who cried almost the whole time she was on stand because of the pressure she was under in terms of the power that was facing her - for or against her testimony - and the tough time she may have going forward in life there by speaking truths AM didn't want told. Whether he NG/or/G. IMO, It is a vote for the underdog - for the many silenced voices statewide that have long been ruled by a 'power, prestige, status-Family ' ensconced in a Good Ole Boy Network. I do agree, although it hasn't been stated as such by the above 2 comments, that any contact with a witness that is still under subpoena in a Cr. Trial is not a prudent decision. As the court stated; it would have been excellent fodder for Def cross-examination. To discredit & instill doubt in information & witnesses is the defense's job. And, as we all saw, they declined to do that job in that manner. They saw that barking up the tree of trying to discredit a P. witness who was showing support to another P. witness who was in difficult circumstances due to Alex's below-board actions which potentially threatened her steadfast, hardworking, and honest care-taking job while being themselvesaccused of actual & massive fraud was not going to play well. ▪︎Defense did not pursue this issue in front of the Jury. {1- Perhaps deciding they would have been seen as bullying two people who were lauded & liked counties-wide by ppl who were systemically beleaguered by the ministrations of this powerful Family & Firm. {2- Tinsley loses either way so why fight the $ contribution to Shelly, who's testimony didn't affect much in net-net Prosecution Proof of AM's malfeasance. ▪︎To wit: Alex wins this trial, he is now the victim of two Vigilantes who attacked his family and he doesn't end up with more money because he still has all these legal bills and the sympathy that is engendered from being attacked. ▪︎Now, If Alex loses this trial and is deemed guilty of unaliving his family members: then he has no money either. ▪︎=> there's still not going to be a multi- million-dollar judgment won against the M family in the Boating homicide case. (?) Maybe why the "roadside shenanigans" didn't go as planned. No need. AM had&has 99 other indictments. If Buster had AM's $10M, than he would bear the brunt of the boat case litigation as he would be the last involved Murdaugh alive to sue for Negligence; contributory or proximate. ▪︎This does not mark the end of their meetings. There are still 99 other indictments.

And then he admitted to lying to the civil court by filing a motion to compel for information he didn't actually need for his case. What an absolute joke.
That’s what you call a BOSS ladies and gentlemen! I enjoyed every second of him sitting up there even keeled not missing a beat! He didn’t flinch not a single time!
"Maybe you've never tried a civil case." Nice slap upside the head. "Well, you thought wrong." Another nice shot. "I think the fuse was lit when he started stealing money." Ouch.
"The fuse was lit when he's was stealing money". Great summation for this entire case. Greed led to murder. So many witnesses in this trial exude integrity and this lawyer definitely was one of them. Decency prevailed!
If the witness said that - it was completely inappropriate and an attorney knows that. - I agree btw with the statement .... (as an observer not a witness I am allowed to have and state an opinion) .... but a witness canot say such things. Or insinuate guilt or innocence. He is there to answer questions not to make assumptions and to think about motivations. Prosecutor and Defense have their narrative and their bias and ask accordingly - but the witnesses are not supposed to engage in that. ? Russel Crosby on the stand (a former lawyer collegue of AM) was not trapped by the defense. Who wanted to establish that he is really angry about the damage AM did to the lawfirm: massive financial damage that will cost the other lawyers income but also reputational damage, the hassle of a forensic audit, having to meet the defrauded clients to apologize and come to an agreement what and when they will be paid. Taking out loans to come up with the 4 - 5 million USD (and still counting). But Crosby was asked by the sleazebag of defense attorney: Did you think he did it (meaning did AM kill Maggie and Paul) And the WITNESS wisely said: I do not have the benefit of all the material that this court has. I trust that the jury will make that decision. (I think he did have an opinion, but abstained from giving any hints. And he had a personal interest in the deceased, he seemed to have been close to Paul. as a human it would have been very understandable to tilt his testimony in a certain way. He did not do that and he was incensed - and showed it - that the defense lawyer insinuated he would let the damage to the lawfirm influence his testimony in a double homicide. Of people he cared for no less.
@@franziskani Alex has admitted many times that he stole money from his law firm and from his clients. It was public knowledge at the time this testimony was given, so not inappropriate at all.

A lawyer SHOULD be able to give qualified testimony, what is compelling is that Mark Tinsley is so matter-of-fact, non-flamboyant in his delivery. His whip-smart recall skills without any kind of notes whatsoever, just amazing! His light southern drawl, lends a disarming eloquence to the interchanges, because the defense attorney tries to play it off as Tinsley being an ignorant yokel. Which he is NOT! Tinsley is wiley and wise, yet intense and self-confident in his rebuttal skills. I found this testimony without doubt, compelling and riveting.
Northerners always seem to think a southern accent represents ignorance. Having lived all over the country, I can tell that southerners ARE whip smart and wise beyond many places I've been. Do NOT be deceived.
He’s arrogant as hell and started civil case without proof Paul was driving He’s greedy- he would get 40% of beach’s settlement So when one million was offered ( which is crazy money to most who live there) Tinsley says what? I make 400k? That’s “ not enough for you? “ Plus Paul most likely going to prison for 30 years wasn’t enough either
@@Nasdaqbaby You have a right to your personal opinion. I disagree. Dr. John Matthias, forensic psychologist states that only Paul really could have been the driver, and he sights resources on that.
I don't see how. If anything, this will be a great video for ethics classes on not lying to a court while under oath. I can see it being used for that purpose, as Tinsley lied out his ass.
What made it worse is that particular defense attorney is actually good and that the lawyer giving evidence got him all flustered shows how good he really is.
One of the most compelling pieces of testimony I've seen between an Defense Attorney witness and Defense Attorney. Total respect for the Witness here. He sure taught the Defense a few things 😉

Or by lying to the civil court in his lawsuit by claiming he needed that information from AM to pursue his case? If that's what you're talking about, then yes, absolutely. I mean, I know what an order to compel looks like when the judge grants mine. He didn't have that. Correct me if I don't have any of this right. I know I obviously have something messed up but not sure where, maybe you can help me.
@gern5168 The former portion of your assessment is accurate; as for the latter portion, the pressure that Mark was putting on Alex was to get Alex to capitulate. Since Mark knew that he ultimately wouldn't have been able to trust any figure that Alex would've stated, he put in place a backup plan, but he certainly could not have anticipated/foreseen the actions to which Alex resorted.

Mark Tinsley's tone and everything about this encounter is perfect. Don't let your kid drive your boat if he is going to drink and cause the death of someone. Alex should have been aware of that. It's too late now. SAD, This is about Mallory Beach's death. She will never be back here on earth. Her parents lost their daughter. This isn't about money. It is about no money being offered.

Man of character who paid a witness 1k cash in a "donation"...lol
and if he had intelligence he wouldn't have used his name when payin...err donating to the witness.

@@franziskani The defence attorney repeatedly asked Mr Tinsley to speculate. He was giving his professional opinion in that speculation. He was commenting on the legal dealings he had with AM, not the matter at hand, which was a murder trial. At no time did I hear him give a personal opinion on AM's guilt or innocence in respect to the murders.
@@franziskani this is kind of false. The witness can say what they’d like, it’s up to the attorneys to object and the judge to rule in those instances.

Ha, ha, ha, ha, - wow ! Defense lawyer doing the questioning needs to surrender his Law License, pack a bag, and head to Hollywood to write scripts for crappy movies. Mark Tinsley is GOLD, against that clown !!
He’s doing the best he can defending this guy Murdaugh. I thought it was a murder trial but it’s sounding more like financial charges.
He is up wirh all the financial turmininalogy of funancial courts, so I woukdnt say he doung si bad, he just trying to make a point to the jury and that, that he was under lots of pressure on lost it.....possibly.
I forgot what they’re arguing about. I mean they’re arguing law but it seems wildly out of place.
@@lynnhobby32321 Exactly. : )
I think the murder are linked to his money crimes, he was going to use the insurance money to make it look like he had money.
Loved the comment made by Tinsley, “that ridiculous road side shooting, or whatever that was.” Exactly, “whatever that was.”
"...well, you thought wrong. There's a lot of papers, so maybe you got confused." ...then "... you wanna see the order?" ...then, whips the court order out of his jacket ... priceless!
The defence lawyer only made himself look worse by asking the same questions over and over. He sounds like the kid who can't keep up in class
Whatever happened to asked and answered.
@@laurajercha9587 the plaintiff's lawyer has to object on grounds of asked or answered or its allowed. I think they're letting it ride to see that the defense is fishing for a defense
What a sleezy defense attorney. I was disgusted by his smirk!
nah this witness is an arrogant jerk
So funny that yall don’t understand what just happened. The witness giving a broad open answer and not answering the question exactly is so damning
Wow this is the difference between COCKY & Confident! The snarky tone and facial expressions from this defense guy falls so short when talking to such an out right transparent, confident, NO BS, attorney! This man was such a breath of fresh air for me, he was direct, confident, intelligent and most of all passionate for his clients, he is clearly determined to stand up for them! Wow, Seeing it be about the client more than the money for a sec. Thats a thing of beauty for me I hope the state pays attention to this, all the money talk is so important, but the connection to the very real ppl who were hurt, betrayed and victimized by this monster, too easily can get lost!
When you know what you know, are truthful, honest and maintain integrity you can be confident without any worries. That's freedom. In any situation. And how totally ridiculous one looks when asking the same question over and over and over because they are unprepared for a prepared professional.
Well said
AMEN

Only thing, the defense lawyer would be 10x more snarky & rude had his witness not been a lawyer, a layperson would have been told every time they tried to answer one of those complicated questions to only answer with a yes or no.
😂😂That was hilarious when the lawyer asks about the order like a smart ass and the lawyer on stand says" yea ive got it right here😂😂 Priceless shoved it up his asp👍
It reminds me of Woody Allen when he pulled Marshall McLuhan out of line in Annie Hall, to explain his philosophy to Annie (Diane Keaton)
And he had highlighted a paragraph too - that was so funny! Pretty impressive to watch.
This is an attorney that you want on your side if you need help. All Attorney should have the guts this man has. he stands up for what he believes and I love that. I hope he gets what the family needs. God knows it won’t bring back their daughter but lessons needs to be learned. Alec didn’t care a damn about that family or their daughter or he would’ve tried to do better. All he cared about was money. He sacrificed a good woman his wife and his son for money. I hope he goes to prison for the rest of his lives and burns in hell afterwards.
Agreed, also AM could have settled the case. This forced Tinsley to put Maggie's name on the suit. Tinsley told him if he tried to stack the outcome in any way he'd take Paul and Maggie to another prescient and try it again.
Tinsley is a amazing lawyer he’s one of the good guys in South Carolina
Stellar testimony by witness. Clear and concise.
Mark Tinsley is the man of the hour here! I definitely would want him on my side as my attorney fighting for me. I would not want to go against him. Alec knew he was sharp and after everything he owned. The poor girls family deserves everything they can get out of Alex. Yes he was hiding assets and did not want to relinquish his bank accounts. I wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t have money buried in the back yard!
You heard wrong…. Holy shit he pulled it out of his coat pocket. 😂😂😂
That was THE MOMENT !!
Mark Tinsley has waited a long time for this day and boy did he light his ass up on that stand. Tinsley thoroughly enjoyed testifying
Mark Tinsley made that guy look like a fool. That defense MONKEY lawyer he never said but one thing and he said the same thing over and over
Love Mark Tinsley! He’s not to be intimidated!
I 💙 how he throws subliminal digs in there like.. "that whole roadside shoot'n, whatever that ridiculousness was"
I’m here for the “whatever that crap was” moment. Damn. Just damn…this entire testimony is golden
I’ve never seen so many truly honest witnesses. Very respectful people. THATS how you get things done. Take note Idaho.
What does Idaho have to do with anything
Yes,,,,,TAKE NOTE Idaho!!!! Rex burg and Moscow Idaho cases are even worse. Gruesome. Sick. Evil! And someone tell me WHY are there so many mass shootings in America? Thankful to be a western Canadian!🇨🇦
@@discombob ALOT. Check out the Daybell and Kolburger cases!!! In Idaho. That’s all tied to Mormons. Those deluded people are looking for God. If only they would stick to Gods word and not their false prophets. Even have an angel called Macoroni!!! 8 or more dead in those horror shows.
How do you know they are honest? Because you agree with them? That is why Trump is not in prison. He fooled the weak and low iq into believing his BS.
@@discombob daybell judge is wispy washy. And, no cameras in the courtroom. I call that bs
Mark Tinsley isn’t ruffled at all by this line of questioning. Answering questions is easy when you’re telling the truth.
This buffoon of a defense lawyer is no match to the steadfast and compelling witness, Mark Tinsley.👍👍👍
I may be just prejudice against the defense, but I don’t care for any of the defense lawyers. They don’t seem well prepared.
