It looks like you installed the rear springs upside down. Eibach print should be right side up. Not sure if it makes a big difference, but the big coils should be at the bottom.
glad i watched this got a 2006 gt with the same rims that are 18s got a 2 inch gap in the front and a 3 inch gap in the back and those springs will bring it down 1.6 front and 2 inches in the back should look the same as her car going with the Eibachs
@@Dom87SSok good I just installed my eibach 1.5 inch and they poke at the rear cuz I’m running 305/30/19 and the driver side barely pokes more than the passenger
@@Dom87SS You definitely need the alignment BUT they make camber bolts that you can use instead of camber plates. The camber bolts are way cheaper and the shop doing the alignment should be able to install the camber bolts. If you don't you will eating up those nice Continentals.
All the suspension should be exactly the same but the only thing I would think that could be different is the weight of the engine so it might not set exactly the same
@@ilc-nl3yy they look like 19×10 with 19×14r in the back might have a staggered wheel set up or their standard 19's on all 4 tires making it easier to rotate them because they are the same size if you use bigger wheels in the back you can't rotate your wheels traditionally
I have an 06 GT also bought new. For some reason I have never liked the look of lowered Mustangs. I think the stance looks better stock. I dunno why but for me it don’t look right sitting on top of the tires basically. And I totally don’t understand why some people think bagged Mustangs look good in any way. .
Agreed. I hated the stance of my lowered `07 and despised the harsh ride due to the shit roads in the corrupt province of Quebec. Went back to stock springs and all is good again:)
lowering it doesn't make the rear end center up, so yes you still need a panhard bar. And you should always get the alignment checked when you do any suspension work.

thanks for the video, looks great. I got the same car, year and paint.
Awesome work! Looks great!

NICE CAR.
Wheels look good, who makes them?
I see that big body behind you looks like it's squatting to. Talking about the heavy Chevy. Looks good.
Yes sir, lowered about 6/8"
That beast looks good. Needs some videos of that beast. If you still have it.
It's my GF car, and she bought it new and still has it
@@Dom87SS how does it drive. I'm about to lower mine but I don't know if I should buy camber caster plates with the springs

What size wheels do u have? I have 20 in wheels and want sportlines but not sure if it would rub
Great vid. Shouldn't the Panhard bar be replaced with an adjustable one too?
It could be, but it's not necessary

what wheels are those? are those also 19x10 and 19x11?
Better get coil louver
Did you get an alignment after? If so we’re they able to align without the caster/camber plate?
We have not, honestly put less than 100 miles on it after but checked it with a string and it's not far off at all

Rim size
What are the front and back wheel fitments?
19in wheels for sure tho
can you install these on the v6 model? or is it just the GT?
All the suspension should be exactly the same but the only thing I would think that could be different is the weight of the engine so it might not set exactly the same
if you were already doing all that hard work, you should have replaced her shocks. they look like they are on their way out.
How was the ride difference after install?
Stiffer in turning and braking, but ride isnt super stiff over bumps and stuff.
What size tires and how many inch drop?
I don't remember the size of the tires, It's about 1.5in drop

Don`t need a panhard bar after lowering and also measure the wheel alignment ? Just asking for a friend!

This mustang models wont last a couple decades more so rusted
