3 player rules for CP:
You get a CP in YOUR Command phase.
You get a CP when YOUR turn ends.
Same amount of CP, received at the "same" time you normally get CP.

God I really hope we get to see one of these awesome games one day. It sounds so fun to watch and just filled with a lot of good hearted entertainment. I’m glad you’re getting into 10th. It’s always rewarding to actually see those beautiful painted models in game.
The rules to service the model range is the real issue. With some armies running into the hundred or more units and each unit having to be unique with their own special rules. Add in the characters joining, faction rules, enhancements, and strats and you have way to many layers of special rules to navigate if you want to play the game. The new releases try to draw me in but I look at the "simple" index rules and I am like this is crazy.
I’m looking forward to the new Cities of Sigmar. Mainly because TWICE now on warhammer tv we’ve seen the steam powered mecha cathedral. If that’s not a miniature I’ll eat my socks

Yes, and everything that used to be good is now trash and Tau can't play the game cause it's objective based and Tau have no tough OC units YEAAAAAAH Tau suck ass

regarding hitting on a 2+: remember hit rolls can never be modified in either direction by more than 1. Core rules p21
I love new City of sigmar too, they have the feel of the guard from Terry Prachetts Discworld to me. Plus I love any mini which is a small dude riding a big dude!

Hearing you get excited for 10th edition has got me excited for it now, too - it was a bit rough at first, with so much negativity all over the place as those index card pdfs were coming out! Got my first game on Tuesday, and I’m breaking out the Necrons as well. I’m finally in love with the res orb, so here’s hoping for the win 😃
I'd like to make a Dragon Age themed CoS army. City guard wearing the crest of Kirkwall, alongside some Dalish elves, dwarves from Orzammar (Legion of the Dead or Carta) and ogors with horns to make them Qunari. Could also throw in some Templars to oversee the Circle mages.
I'm old and crunchy too :( Maybe thats why I love the Bretonians so much.

This guy doesn't know shit about Fantasy/AoS you should of seen the endless spells video he did. Couldnt understand why they were on bases and forgot to talk about a few of them.
They are kinda separate, kinda like Kislev.
They keep knocking it out of the park with their AoS minis, I dont even play it, but I've ended up picking up some of them, just because they look so fun.

For the real Master Blaster action you need to get the House Cawdor Stig Shambler for Necromunda (Forge World mini)
The Axejack from the Navy Breachers kill team has a power axe with a wooden haft. It's the first bit of wood I've painted in a while!
I love Idoneth Deepkin. I am also an aquarium guy. So they really hit the mark for me. Ha.
I am excited to get to my first game of 10th. Thousand Sons look like we can actually use Magnus and the vortex beast. Which gives us a little more than we had before.

Lord I 1000% respect that you dig the new GW direction for the age of sigmar stuff but I personally despise it. I love grounded classic fantasy and it’s really being done away with for everything now a days. Video games, movies ect. Old world has me hype though and I have vermintide forever lol. Just commenting bc my buddy brought up not liking any fantasy models on the website when he was looking for Mordheim models to get. (I’m building a board now) I was like those are age of sigmar for the most part, not old world. Love you’re stuff tho 🤙🏽

My local store manager made 10th ed 1000 point army of just nurglings and a great unclean one. It’s brutal
when you said overlord in the 13th min, all my brain was saying "all hail the overlord".
I’ve still yet to play a game since really getting into it and collecting models last year .. time to finally learn , since when I started learning 9th edition , 10th was getting announced so I was like well .. Might as well just wait . But it’s here ! I can’t wait to pick up leviathan today , especially now that my indomitus marines are pretty much done
I wanted to share an episode idea....take a look into "table top standard" and paint up some minis to the barest bones needed to be playable.
Play a game w em, and see if minimal paint job affected fun

I think the concern about indirect fire would be less problematic in an objective game as the points you spend on those guns are points that aren't putting bodies on objectives.
They need to bring back the artillery direction dice and area template for indirect fire.
You might double-check that basilisk math. IIRC, it can get up to a 3+ BS with the Scout Sentinels, giving a reroll of any 1s.
The capping of modifiers seems to be an overlooked rule.

We played 3 player games in late 9th so that the side that has two players takes turns which one gets the one CP. But as 10th starts with 0CP, that probably doesn’t work anymore.

Kinda surprised the Imp guard player managed to even put a dent in the necrons. They are basically impossible to kill if build correctly.
You have to hear this all the damn time, but man, you need a compilation video of you doing the "HOW?! do you have more to say?" bits. They still totally wreck me every time.
Guard Indirect Fire takes a lot of investment to get it to a 2+ and negate all the debuffs. You need spotting from Sentinels, Flush them out from a Hellhound, Squadron Orders which only come from TC’s (1-2 orders to squadron) and Lord Solar (3x order anything) and remaining still for heavy.
i always imagine Girr from invader Zim when you say "i do" haha
Quite sure the 2+ to hit for indirect is not possible for IG.

I think most armies definitely did get cheaper. My Chaos army is the exact same as 9th, but with an entire extra Vindicator.
40k player’s wrong option on fantasy models! Michel and Alan Perry’s bretonnian line of models are GW classics and put them on the map and head and shoulders above all other model producers.
The new stuff is too high fantasy

Ive already played a few games of my Imperial Fists vs my roommates Votann. I crush him mercilessly each time.
Space Marines are kind of easy mode.
So far 10th seems pretty good with a few issues among the armies (Eldar/Sisters).
Gonna try and trade in some of my unopened sisters for some Marines and Guard today.

I traded Celestine, Ad Mech jump troops and calvary, and another sister unit for the Imperial Fists Bastion, 2 boxes of gravis jump guys, and a box of Ogryn.

When describing the aos character, you apparently didn't think mad max, cuz that's master blaster.
I played templars into Eldar at 1500 points on a small board. I won but my opt didn't have as much time as me to prep. He also almost sniped grimaldus tho. Lived on 1 wound for rest of match.
One wound is all he needs!!! Purge on brother!!!
OSHA requires the spotter to be tied off. He should be safe.

I agree 10th is great and the games now that we have a few under our belt take no more than 2 hours 30min on average. Which in my opinion is the best part of the new addition.

1000pts of GK vs 1000pts of BT it felt as if either of us was playing a different game. Very un fun, but it was just two games. This weekend another two games vs chaos knights and 1ksons
I played a game with a friend today, and we were both playing space morons; oath of moment does SO many rerolls, dude. I had a 5 man dev squad with an Lt (2 rockets and 2 p. cannons) and I killed 6/10 assault intercessors. I forgot to reroll my missed hits from oath on the frag rockets, thus I would likely have killed a 7th one. The Lt and bolter discipline in dev doctrine with a bunch of blast weapons is gross, put in oath and you got a deadly little 200pt unit.
Glad to hear Necrons feel good.
On auspex tactics the poll puts them in third behind imperial knights (12 toughness means you better hope you brought lethal hits or “anti-vehicle x+”) and aeldari (no limits on their roll fixing for any given roll). People were questioning reanimation but they put so many triggers and bonuses down it’s gonna get nerfed. Canoptek reanimator aura is gonna get shrunk

Finally it feels like Reanimation is doing what is should!

@@minigamerjeonsofbattle9376 but it does have 3+ armor and a 4+ feel no pain. Also it’s not towering and ruins say you can’t draw line of sight over them except for towering or aircraft. It could be harder to remove this thing than you think.

Kind of unrelated, but I clogged the toilet this morning. I went to plunge it and it immediately cleared. I was stoked that it wasn’t a huge hassle. As I went to pull the plunger out of the toilet, I ended up dropping a giant turd and tp nugget on my foot. So much moisture. Unfortunately, the reason the toilet cleared so quickly was because I sucked the clog out of the toilet and into the plunger 🪠 cup. So nasty. I had poo foot which is way more worser than a clogged toilet. I had to pick up a giant wet turd ball off the floor. I had juice between my toes. I forget how it relates to this video but that’s what happened.

Was looking for this! Bretonnia was the arthurian knights, Empire is the Holy Roman Empire with Gryphons.
10th Ed is 8th Ed with a skin, because 10th Ed it's a simplified version of 9th Ed, but 9th Ed was a complicated version of 8th Ed. Also emphasis on shooting phase like 8th Ed.

Buffs don't stack, indirect should only be able to do 3+ or 4+ by ignoring the setup penalty and +1 to hit
Indirect fire for guard shouldn't be able to hit on 2s, think the guard player misunderstood the rules. A hit roll can only be modified by +1 or -1
with scout sentinel eliminating the penalty for indirect fire and heavy giving them a +1 to hit, they hit on 3+, rerolling 1s.
then they use the take aim order to make that a 2+
kinda iffy if they stack. heavy gives them a +1 and the order says "improve ballistic skill characteristics by 1", so it modifies the ballistic skill, not the hit roll. will probably get an faq.
you can further enhance this with an exterminator leman russ to get an extra ap on your target, and regimental attaches to get sustained hits on your artillery pieces.
I was excited for the Old World, until I saw that model. Doesn't seem like IC 1999 to me. It's cool looking and weird, but to have an LMG on the friendly ogre just doesn't seem Warhammerish to me.
I want to see a worlds strongest man like Eddie hall or someone try to cosplay the Ogre with the dude on his back. I feel like if anyone could it would be them. Maybe have to get a very small person to go up there. But I think it could be doable with strong metal substructure under light foam detail layer.
Idk about a small person but I'd say a dwarf would make it work most excellently.

It's been literal decades since I've played any kind of Warhammer but have been enjoying your videos even if I don't always know what you're talking about. Still, I could really do with some "this is how charging works and why [whoever] is so effective at it" or "this is how you hold an objective and why you should never try it with [whatever]"
