That's insane! Who could ever thought that a bike designed for a completely different discipline can be handled so amazing with pure trial moves!! Santa Cruz should definitely check that out!) The hights are enormous, the style is flawless... Ali, that's a great vlog!
I think it's the same bike Danny MacAskill rode in 'Wee day out'. This bike looks pretty fun and capable! (at least if you have the skills these guys have :D )
raheem gahel this is true, but at the same time the right tools make it so much easier as long as you know how to use them. Ali can definitely do trials blindfolded on Walmart bikes but it would be much more cumbersome and he wouldn’t get the same performance, height, or satisfaction like he did here. Plus you run the risk of injuring yourself when you break a fork or frame landing nose down.
Your slo-mo vids remind me of when nature channels do it and you just watch in wonderment because you can appreciate the beauty of it. In this case, it's doing trials on a full suspension. I've tried it and it's quite different to say the least.
This is super awesome Ali! I love the slow-mo. Funny enough I just posted my own video about trials on a mountain bike. I swear I was not trying to copy you! My video is so sad compared to yours. Cheers
Phenomenal skills Ali, I competed back in the early 90's at the age of 15 years old and I was so lucky to train with the best in that time: Ot pi, Cesar Cañas, Jordi Rubio, Oscar López... some of them already were world champs. Anyway, after 30 years of being out of this world and due to the quarantine, I've started to watch videos in UA-cam (mountain bike, trial...) and I found your channel, which is very inspiring , so I started to go out again with and old mountain-bike and thinking to get a new one and contact some of the old friends already retired from competition to meet again. 🙏 thanks
Vidéo entièrement folle !!! Les gestes exécutés avec ce vélo sont juste énormes, même avec un pur trial c'est difficile de faire mieux !!! Franchement un grand BRAVO !!!!!
How is it possible, that you can impress us every time even more? Showed your full-sus trials vlog with Danny (vlog 42) to all my buds few years ago, every time thinking about it, when there is discuss about possibilities of some moves on our trail bikes. Thank you so much for pushing it harder and harder!
Your best video in a long time. It really shows you had a good time and really shows how good rider you are. Keep having fun because it comes thru the camera and is inspiring.
The slow motion shots really let us see your body position and timing! I have always enjoyed your trials/street skills on trials bikes but as you commented it the last video- This is so much more relatable... I hope you find the correct balance for your channel. Awesome video!
It's really interesting watching what you're rear brake fingers are doing during all your movements while bouncing on the rear tire. Super cool and congrats on the huge ups!!
I think this is my Favorite video you have made yet Ali. You should definitely make more mtb trials videos. Maybe next time go for a trail ride and see what kinds of natural trials lines you can find. Mtb trials seems like a great niche, Jeff lenosky is the only other youtuber I know of that does it but he does not post enough. Keep it up👍🏼👍🏼
Hey Ali Clarkson! It's always good to see a fellow rider really pumped up about the sport! Seeing you so excited has gotten me stoked so I am going to get all things done as soon as possible and go ride in the rain here near Vancouver! Ride ride ride!
You think you could do a video about bike set up to make a full suspension bike more trialsy (higher pressure, faster rebound etc) and kinda go over your set up? Would love that!
Front taps look so much fun on that thing. Love how low you get the front wheel on the drops, so much style. 17:28 Sam Pilgrim would be proud lol. Awesome vlog Ali!
I dont ride trials, but your videos are awesome. A lot of these skills pay big on the trail. Love to watch your technique and have some ideas of how to begin to learn and implement them on my rides! Strong work Ali!! Keep it up! Santa Cruz should definitely be giving some support with this content!!
Us MTB'ers thought Danny was mental doing these tricks on a full sus bike when he has access to a trials bike. Now seeing your joy doing that, I can understand why he did it. 😂 Fun watch, keep slaying it!
Ali, that was awesome. I usually watch your vids but I’ve never ridden a trials bike... I can appreciate what you do but I can’t relate - this however really shows just how much endurance and power you guys have! Looking forward to more videos like this! 👍🏽
Wow, that was some amazing riding! The slow motion clips are fascinating. It's great to see you having fun, that satisfaction of completing a move is why I love trials.
This just shows the level of skill you’re riding at. Making everything seems so easy :P. Loving the Moto sounds by the way. I always get weird looks when I’m doing the vroom vroom.
That was some nice riding . Reminded me of when I used to mess about doing trialsy stuff on my old full sus , I did things on that bike I can only dream of now . Great to see you having soo much fun .
I quite liked the slow-motion. As I don't ride (as much as i would love to grab a cheap trials bike and give it a try), it amazes me all the different positions you have to put your body in whilst on the bike. I'm pretty sure at one point you were sitting on the back wheel!
Good to see you having that much fun Ali! it’s amazing how much you can do on the santa cruz but I get to see how much it takes to do that kind of stuff
Hi Ali just saying that your trials is wicked on that bike but it depends on what hub you have because on my dT swiss wheel I recked the hub from pedal kicks. Just a word of advice
I ride a DH bike to work and often find myself doing small trials stuff on it, after seeing your comments will set the rebound faster and keep trying bigger stuff.
Could be made to work, but do not think bigger wheels would be an advantage for trials, unless you want to make stuff seem easier? Do not think bigger wheels are better, but are build better as far as size/ weight
Little idea for you (and anyone) when you go to a location to do tricks and mess about do a lil bit of a cleanup of the area (rubbish/ bottles etc)... just as a nice thing to do 😊.. I do it when i find a spot to ride or go four wheel driving etc
You should try out the dark night planetary freecoaster it has all the engagement and pedal pressure of a bmx cassette but is a freecoaster. They work pretty cool but I remember your issue with freecoaster was pedal pressure.
Insane skills mate!!!
collab potential right here
Nice one Ali!! You make it look so easy!! 🙌🏼
Hi Danny i am wondering which moudle you ride for the hay-scroll
5010 or Bronson,? thank you I'm riding bcz of u
3:46 vroom, vroom. So good.
You should do more of this, it looks amazing. Also it gives me some inspiration and motivation to ride street with my enduro.
Exactly!
This one is pure gold Ali! I´ve searched everywhere on the internet for a video like this with no luck. Thanks a lot mate!
Fabio Wibmer has got a Video trial on Enduro Bikes
@@felixpbmx yeah, but all the slow mo clips on Ali's video are great to really understand the technique!!

It's the rider, not the bike! He'd do that even on a Walmart bike!

lets start on this small block. I can do 10cm side hop
yeah- he makes this all look way to easy.
so true 😂😂😂 haha!
i cant even do that ....lol
Everyone starts somewhere dude.
@@aaron.biketrials that's true actually today I did my first 10cm side hop 👌
I would love to see what you could do on a budget xc hardtail?!?
Going up those stairs was awesome to watch - but going down them in reverse! Man, that's world-class!
Defying gravity Ali. Awesome skills mate. Great camera work. Thanks for sharing...

Big bike trials are the most fun videos to watch
Love the slow-mo. It really brakes down the moves to study.
What I like about your channel is, it is clear your'e having fun doing this. That makes it so much fun to watch. Keep it up. 👍

4:04 damn that was painfully smooth
that's crazy. Your excitement is contagious 😯😄
Those slow motion shot's are so sick! and Danny's right you make it look so easy!
Slow mo with the music is beautiful!!
Insane, pure art, beautiful and full of inspiration!
The slow mo shots were fascinating, fantastic job Ali!
A moto trials video from you would be super cool, Ali. If you can get a hold of one for a day or two.
@@Ali_Clarkson doooo it doooo it doooo it dooo it
@ oh please do! that would be awesome content!!
So rad. Great use of slo-mo, and the big bike just highlights how smooth and controlled your riding is. Always extremely impressive.
Great motivation! I was just out trialsin around on my Giant Trance, what fun to throw a trail bike around on some trials action!
Us MTB'ers thought Danny was mental doing these tricks on a full sus bike when he has access to a trials bike. Now seeing your joy doing that, I can understand why he did it. 😂 Fun watch, keep slaying it!
Great ride - who knew?!?! Your joy shines through.

The mic sound is really fucking with my head, need the yelling from Ali for authentic feel haha. Great vid!
Totally, ridiculously brilliant.
This was an absolute joy to watch, the happy vibes really radiated throughout the whole video!
Wow, that was some amazing riding! The slow motion clips are fascinating. It's great to see you having fun, that satisfaction of completing a move is why I love trials.
I’ve never seen riding like that on a full suspension bike! Amazing
Dizzy Wrobel Danny MacAskill has been doing it for a few years now. Fabio Widmer has also done edits on fullys.
This has to be one of the best trials videos on your channel! One can tell that you had big fun and I really liked some of the camera angles 😀
This just shows the level of skill you’re riding at. Making everything seems so easy :P.
Loving the Moto sounds by the way. I always get weird looks when I’m doing the vroom vroom.
you seem much happier dude, its nice to see! good video, keep it up

Amazing! Loving the slowmotion with the music! Sick riding and awesome First Try at the Amphitheatre!

I've finally managed to watch basiclay all your videos

Love it! Really dig seeing you on a big bike as that is more familiar to me.
Nicely done. Loved the slo mo & music.
Good to see you having that much fun Ali! it’s amazing how much you can do on the santa cruz but I get to see how much it takes to do that kind of stuff
that tap next to the massive drop was great!
that's simply impressive! I'm just amazed by your skills
The up to fronts in slow-mo looks so funky
Great vid! Loved the slow mo’s and really impressed what you can do on a full susser!
Awesome 👍 love the slow motion clips thanks
This is a great vid! Santa Cruz would be lucky to have you on their team!
Insane Ali! You and the bike are best friends I think so far🤟😛
Hi Ali just saying that your trials is wicked on that bike but it depends on what hub you have because on my dT swiss wheel I recked the hub from pedal kicks. Just a word of advice

Awesome video! Gets me excited to start riding trials
Fantastic skills Ali!

Such a nice vlog! Your skills are amazing and your motivation is impressive!! I love to see more :)
When Ali is happy it shows like the Sun shining through the clouds!
that's where I get my inspiration. Super Nice!! 100%skills
So cool! Absolutly massive!
Great job Ali!
It'd be interesting to see what the 27.5" wheels on the long trials bike would be like. If they'll fit in the frame / fork that is...
Could be made to work, but do not think bigger wheels would be an advantage for trials, unless you want to make stuff seem easier? Do not think bigger wheels are better, but are build better as far as size/ weight
Would be nice a tap tutorial. Great video 💪
Your great mate!! nice video!! hope you keep on dowing this videos.
9:52 Jay Dalton would be proud of that bar hump technique¡! LoL 😜
Little idea for you (and anyone) when you go to a location to do tricks and mess about do a lil bit of a cleanup of the area (rubbish/ bottles etc)... just as a nice thing to do 😊.. I do it when i find a spot to ride or go four wheel driving etc
This vid is one of your best ever
Love these emotions😀
That was a really nice video i even got motivated

They work pretty cool but I remember your issue with freecoaster was pedal pressure.
A feast for the eyes that slow motion 👍👍👍
Just Wow, well done!
I just saw what that bike costs, gulp
Amazing skills!
Super-mega-cool, Ali
4:40 either a highly progressive fork or just your perfect skills!
That fakie down that big steps of stairs is awesome
