7-String Guitar. Plays 1 string.
7 string players buy a 7 string so that they can use exclusively that 7th string, 6 string players buy a 6 string so they can use all 6 strings. 8 string players buy an 8 string because they are too arrogant to swallow their pride and just go to bass where they belong, anyone who plays more strings just genuinely hates good tone
@@fnamelname8906some of the best players on the planet play extended range guitars, stop being such a close-minded hater. Tosin Abasi, Fredrik Thordendal, Steve Vai, Acle Kahney, Howard Alden… I could go on.
Also, name one guitarist that uses all strings on their guitar for every single song and I’ll call you a fucking liar, because there isn’t one. You can literally play two octaves on one string, I don’t get the beef.

Slayer was a way more intense band
Yes, Slayer easily beats this in terms of heaviness, but they sacrifice quality for speed and heaviness. The thing about these bands is that they produce memorable, well-made songs that aren't the exact same as every other song on the album. Even better, they evolve with each album. Slayer is still stuck where they were at the beginning (if not worse) and that's not a good thing. It's a good debut but it's unacceptable as a career.
That's just my ¢2. No hate to you, keep on listening! Hell, I enjoy Slayer from time to time.
@@Moderate_Rock The quality is part of the heaviness. Making metal that is incredibly polished just defeats the purpose.
