Thank you, Will…I am a 76 year old American woman who LOVES your channel. I have your original book (which I will donate to our library for their book sale when my 2024 edition arrives. Thanks for helping the over 50 population!
Hi there - I'm so pleased you've enjoyed my channel - thank you for ordering my new book, I hope you find it packed with more useful and interesting content. Lovely idea to donate your previous copy, I hope someone else can get some good use out of it!
me again - ten reps X 3 or 4 a day since the first broadcast of these easy-peasy moves have begun to retrieve the sensation from my younger days of push-ups & planking - hope there's no trouble ahead 🙂
I happen to have a resistance band exactly like the one you use here -- part of an inexpensive but seemingly sturdy set of five I purchased just last week. Will be trying this exercise which if effective will greatly benefit my very hunched posture (result of years of computer use plus neglect of physical activity). Thanks -- as usual! What a great resource you offer over-50's and others with your presentations.
Thank you so much for this, Will. I love your channel; you share so much helpful information for us 50+ folks all over the world. (I'm in the US.) With so many of at the computer daily, either at home or in the office, this can certainly creep up on you. I'm going to add this to my daily stretches. Thanks again. Also, I'm looking forward to reading your "Ultimate Guide..." and getting your new book!
Trying it in front of the computer, imaginary wall. Feeling the muscles moving just as you are describing. Feels great and just done a few! Will try with the wall and the band later. I do some digital work, so this will be a regular one many times a day whilst taking a break! Thanks ever so so much.
For some time I have had shoulder neck instability. The first time I did this exercise I heard funny little noises, the 2nd time no noises. It is as if something has clicked back into place...yippee!
20 years ago I learned standing straighter by 1) wearing Crocs/Birkenstock (I wasn't diagnosed with flat feet, but my arches are lower than for most people, so this helps me a lot to stand straighter), and 2) a couple of times per day (a couple of minutes each time), keeping while standing a buckwheat+textile heating pad (at room temp) on the top of my head. What do you think of these 2 tricks? Do they adress the same muscles than the exercise showed in the video here? Asking for a friend who could play in The Hunchback of Notre Dame!
Ive just been working out my 3 daily exercises but will now pop in the posture one. I feel like I have shut the stable door after the horse has bolted! I broke my neck in a car accident 20 year's ago- now have a metal neck but I hope this exercise will prevent the condition getting any worse . I'll report back!
First i would say sir you're really handsome Second - i have disc bulges in cervical region at c3-c4 c4-c5 will they heal themselves or i have to take pain killers for pain
Harlow I'm having one doubt, most of the above 60 patients, subject to Greater tubercle fracture both conservatively and postoperatively.. Much difficult to raise the shoulder maintaining scapulohumeral rhythm... Can you share a good protocol...
Looking forward to the book, which I've ordered, but what has happened to the video? I've tried twice to download it but it fails to arrive and it's not hiding in the junk folder! Please rectify this error. Sincerely JH

There's a phrase now becoming popular--"text neck," and boy, isn't that true?
