As a DM currently running a campaign in the Forgotten Realms, seeing all the setting specific stuff is SO fun! Red Wizards of Thay, Displacer Beasts (aka, kitty thwhipettes) Gelatenous Cube, Mimic, a Black Dragon using ACID attack instead of just the traditional fire-breathing variety. There's tons more, but those are the ones that got me most excited. Yeah there are some nitpicks (owlbear), but who cares?! The movie seems to be generally enjoyable to most people who've seen it which to me is MILES beyond what I was expecting. I can't wait to see it!!
I wasn't excited for the movie originally, but they won me over with the additional trailers. Definitely excited for this.
Glad you guys enjoyed the movie, I was lucky enough to see it on 11th for the Cineworld secret screening. Thoroughly enjoyed D&D and would for sure watch again.
Saw the early review with 11 year old twins. They were never really scared and laughing their heads off the entire third act

I'm excited, but it will be interesting to see the fan turnout with the big mistakes Wizards of the Coast made recently, even if they did retract everything. I want it to do well but I know some people are still pretty salty.

I am very glad to have seen the movie early because the trailers are giving away all of the best moments. 🤷
I saw it yesterday as well at an early screening and it was awesome. So good! It's hilarious and full of action. I even teared up at a scene. Not going to lie I thought the CGI was going to be meh but it was pretty good. There's a surprise cameo. Same writers/directors of Game Night which I thought was pretty great. I can't wait to see it again in the theater opening weekend.

Not when we went. There however was a MID-credit scene. Which is different than a POST-credit scene.

I subscribed, but: would be helpful to add 2 things to video. One, who is the target audience and target age, and some type of score. Could be a simple 1 to 10 or your own scale.
We stopped numerically scoring movies a LONG time ago (We leave that to Rotten Tomatos). We also say in this review that this movie is for families (similar to all Marvel films) but to be warned that there are some scary images and jump scares that might cause children to cover their eyes.
I'm tired of this silly billy banter style humor in movies. Especially in fantasy films it really doesn't appeal to me so the trailer put me off.

It's the same characteristics that made rings of power completely unwatchable The same thing that made quantumania fail miserably and made willow be canceled after one season. In the words of the critical drinker it's "THE MESSAGE" those elements. And if you can't figure out what those elements are... maybe you're not the reviewers I thought you were. All I did was ask a simple question and you go ahead and attack me and an insult me. I'm not going to stoop to your level and insult you but I am going to say that I am extremely disappointed with you both of you. What really really disappoints me as the fact that you two aren't even going to give this message a second thought and it means that my opinion doesn't matter for anything with you.
