Great work mark. I learned a lot from the time we met, ever since, I've reballed and performed a good amount of board swaps myself👍
Loved the nod to Ben at RESQ. Anyone that can rehot CPU bro and have it working afterwards is highly skilled at this. It's *way* harder than it looks.
Awesome job as well as video. Thank you for sharing. Thank you Mark and his colleagues
Nice work guys as always!
very awesome work
Love the high production values!
Two thumbs up. This is the first time ive seen a real life cpu resolder job.
Nice job Mark 👍
Lead free solder strikes again. Nice one Jessa and Mark.
Love you jessa.. and Lewis.
Awesome Guys. Hope to see you all with the baby soon. in NYC, we're moving the company to SC Myrtle Beach!
I have so many parts, and stuff. I'll call ya tomorrow. 5 and up etc from same supplier. Miss yall!!
SD boot loop recall! Nice job Mark!!
awesome job guys!
Muito bom, parabéns.
Thank for this education to fix this problem.
THANKS
Good job…..scared to attempt the fix. Will send it in
Great Job Guys!!! Greetings from Brazil.
Great job sir👍👍👍
good job Mark.
I have a few questions. Does your course teach reballing CPUs? Does what you teach here apply to reballing any other CPUs? Why do so many people avoid changing CPUs on mother boards? I really want to take your course.
Great! Simple as that!
Well done 👏
I am always amazed that these devices can be assembled fast enough in the factroy to meet demand! They must have amazing robots or very deft fingers!
Nice to see Mark with a new look
Nice job
I really like the music on this one!
mad respect
Awesome 👍
wpuld you please give some information about tempratur&airflow setting?
I like how they tell you how to get everything but the stencil. Where do you get stencils from?!?!
Oh man cpu reball is something that scares me , Im worried about bending it or the ram stack.. guess i just need to get some practice in
God bless you and your family so helpful video 💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐😍😍😍😍😍😍😍💌💌💌💌💌
Great video, nice skills, really enjoyed every minute of it. Isn’t 138c temp paste too low temp for cpu reball ? Would of thought 183 would be better. Great stuff mark and jessa 👍
I'm assuming the reball is strictly for data recovery purposes rather than restoring the device to it's original state.
🥰🥰❤❤🌹🌹nice work bro💋
Impressive
having subbtitle is so good for those who dont know english well thank you
I just found this video via clicking a bunch from Northridge Fix video and I never knew there were "ball" inside there. And to know it's just sodder? Electronics blow my mind
Awesome video!
Apple is at it again with the smart engineering. Lol
to remove resin and clean cpu and motherboard I use paint remover. It will destroy resin. Then a airbrush with alcohol results are super clean.
Haven’t watched the while video yet. Are you offering this repair? How much are y’all charging for this repair?
I have 5 here............. tried one so far and failed, definitely not an easy job. Will try another soon
Does anyone know what size the solder balls are for the cpu? Or do you have to use solder paste?
Hi, How do you determine that its a CPU issue and not a NAND Issue?
Could you share the hot air settings (temp and air flow) for removing and replacing the CPU?
the same thing that i would like to kñow so much.
@@sarockpashotan You can use any temperature it depends of your knowledge and skill i am using 405 degress airflow 40%
thanks o lot mobilboss 037
Capacitors not needed?
Are there any chances of data loss if you perform cpu reball?
Why tweezer? Why not used wick?
how did you remove the cpu without causing the RAM layer from desoldering during the heat gun process
What about the data recovery ?
Yeah but what’s your temp and air flow???
Would you send this out as a full repair with the missing caps on the CPU, or is it just a data recovery job?
I’m not a huge fan of any CPU rework being done as repair. There is no longer underfill under the CPU so it would be wildly susceptible to water or drop, plus the original charger damage that did whatever it did electrically to the chip, plus the now missing cpu capacitors….
Right now CPU work is more labor intensive than makes sense for a “quick fix no warranty” style repair that you’d expect with the CPU so unprotected.
Manly ponytail 😁.I liked that part
why not Nand problem?
Is it normal when ypu remove cpu to have missing pads on the board?
BEN!!
Good job, but 138 solder tin paste bad for cpu
On what evidence?
What is the name of the metal spudger you guys used to slide under the CPU i dont see it listed in the description under tools used
ipadrehab.store/products/qianli-009-gold-multiblades-heavy-duty-style?_pos=1&_sid=7d40be7e9&_ss=r
Socketed CPU's or anything complex and high ball count is SO much easier.....
I replaced the iPad cpu for the one of an iPhone 7 it powers on but it won’t activate is there anything I can do.
Dammit mines has to undergo surgery lol approximately how much will it cost to take to a computer/tablet store to get repaired ?
temprature remove cpu plz mom
I have a 5th gen iPad that won't stop asking to be restored. I've tried doing updates and restores though itunes and 3u tools and they all complete without error. However, as soon as they go to reboot it goes straight back to asking to be restored. You never got to a lock or setup screen and as I said before, no errors from itunes/
Is it possible that he same thing is going on here and that the CPU needs to be reballed? I haven't been able to find any good leads on potential causes anywhere and I'm running out of ideas. The digitizer was replaced by someone else and it wasn't the best work but the logic board looks fine under the microscope. Nothing missing, burnt, or otherwise obviously damaged. No scrapes to the board or anything. ICC pro doesn't indicate any problems and it charges just fine.
How much do you charge for this?
Hi jessa i was curious about the lighter ipad screen removal but this video is private :( can you maybe share this with us ? :)
Jean is learning to edit and making a short. It was shot on an iPhone in portrait mode. She will post it when she’s done.
@@JessaJones thanks jessa !
Why rebelling? What could damage those balls?
And mounting such a huge BGA is not fun .. not easy.
I wish I could do that :(
Great video and job.
What is the price for this course?
Check the iPad Rehab website for pricing.
Super gangster. Rehot CPU legit ! Fone Kong Ben Pee wick it good remix !
Amazing job but i feel like im watching a 5-minute crafts video with the royalty free music 😂
Question if I changed my iPhone motherboard can I still recover my data from an iPhone ? Lost all my data from 2019 and tried to recover it , by trying to change the board n get back my photos and videos
The data is on the motherboard-so get that original motherboard and then fix it and enter passcode to retrieve data. If you don’t have the original motherboard you don’t have the original data.
@@JessaJones i have the original documents but the phone has been wiped
138 derece lehim ile olmaz herhangi bir darbede soguk lehime düşme ihtimali çok yüksek ,
? ???????
How much does this service cost? The iPad is only $329
I contacted them and got told $300 :/
watching this after 3-4 failed cpu reball..ha haa..again will try...hooo
Oh good 10:30 Now I can scratch the board with complacence. :)
I am growing pony tail too! 😂😂
🤣 you will be a pro soon enough
Hope fully. If not , not sure what to do with the ponytail by them!😂🙈
Why would you cover up the number pad when you put in the password? It's not like we know who the pad belongs to and or see this person to where we can steal it from them. Just thinking out loud.
The *only* reason is to avoid comments on the video “I can’t believe you showed their passcode. That’s so invasive to their privacy.” And now we get your comment. #Fail.
Why use 138 for Reball?
On something as important as a CPU, you dont want to overheat it and end up killing it. Another thing is these stencils are pretty janky, they bow upward when high heat is applied to them, especially big stencils tend to do this which causes uneven balls or even ruining the entire reballing process
@@TheLeathal0ne i understand that cpu is important, but for sure it can survive with 183 paste,i've done that countless times.
183 has the eutectic property for better solder joint quality.
138 is soft, weak and brittle. its definetely not for wide surface bga like cpu.
about the stencil warping, just put tissue under cpu or use those fancy cpu solder tool, its defintely doable and for sure not the reason they use 138 compared to 183..
just my opinion
Just ReHot CPU bro…

Correct. Good job.
Moscow never sleeps 🙂
I send people that I know that have this current product to you and then Lewis on the East Coast. I know his name is misspelled. Thanks to autocorrect
Just a FYI iPad Rehab and Louis are both in NY state
hate the editing and especially the music. good content tho!
138 solder paste for cpu 😂…only work one day …183 must need for long run
On what evidence?
For best results, You need mainly ponytail.... Ha Ha Ha... . Now I know similarity between Mark & Ben
This is the new audio ic repair on iPad 6th and most 7th gen if you didn't know guysgood work! @markarrs
