It's an honor to be on the phone with you. Help me modify my order, Great team, great store. the best price. Looking forward to more sbk build videos, thanks again!
Christ, I'm drooling over what you've just built. Iam not easily impressed as you might see in my videos, but the numbers alone are brutal, especially considering your dyno isn't the most over the top one. Beautiful project as always!!!
Nice job and yeah 2k miles or $$$$. Plus we love you mention dyno we laugh when we hear "207hp" on a stock 20+ S/M1000rR. We only see low 190's and R1 same mid 180's but ppl that know nothing about dynos always say ours "reads high" yet we're 3000 miles apart & our two seen identical. It's those shops claiming huge "tuned" numbers that make us laugh. Nice vid Freddie 👏🏼
I have only just barely begun to scratch the surface of using the "potential" of my stock motorcycle on the track. I can't begin to imagine how a weapon like you just built would perform...... but I can dream. 😉🏁 That was a great build series, would love to see a bit of on track video of it. Thanks and keep yourselves safe! 😃👍❤🏍 Randy

I am excited to be working exclusively with SBU to build my 22’ S1KRR. Fairly sure I won’t go full WSBK level (if only just forks😂) - this season. But I sure am tempted! If you’ve ever decided to swap out a new pair of clip ons a day after you installed them - you just might of experienced the “come to Jesus moment” I’ve arrived at. Buying what I want is actually less expensive than many half steps. The experience & combined knowledge at your shop is a rare thing to find. Excited to be buying what I desire and feel like the relationship is rewarding in ways that are beyond just dollar bills. Much appreciate your time & efforts to help guild my purchases into the future. I can verify you guys are positively best value around. Makes dropping the coin a lot less painful!
Would you consider talking on exactly what is timing out when you get to the service life of motors like this? Are they slowly eating bearings, do you start seeing lots of oil getting past the rings, fatigue on bolts, etc.
Generally a first refresh for something like this is going to include at minimum: bearings, pistons/rings, valves, valve springs, valve job, timing chain and some other less exciting wear items. Everything has a service life and even the cases will be lifed out in relatively short mileage in comparison to a road-going engine.
What software are you using to tune the bike? Just picked one up which will be a street bike but looking for a tune, exhaust, block offs, carbon canister delete etc. Not doing handheld tuners
This has a dedicated electronics package for race use, which includes a tuning software specific to the ECU provided. For customer bikes, we have some bench ecu flashing options but we usually use a flashing device with our maps.
Madness it lasts 2k kilometers,a few years back when they released the bmw s1k race to the public the engine lasted 7-8k kilometers and cost around 10-15 thousand euros to replace it,and it used to make 215-217 hp at all times, pretty good considering the bike Freddy built cost like 150k in world sbk spec, but the race wasn't,it was more of a track weapon! 15 horses I guess isn't a huge difference for normal ppl, because most ppl wouldn't be able to exploit the full potential of the bike, and 215 is a really impressive number!!
@@skywalker7517 you mean the Hp4 race? That made 215hp at the CRANK. the sbu bike from the vid makes 230hp at the WHEEL. that is a huge difference and not just 15hp
@@kowalski2334no no it made 215-217 to the wheel I saw a dyno video of the bike running on it,not crank hp, wheel!!,I said for normal track day riders they wouldn't feel the 15 difference but for a professional it would,he can use that power and ride hard but normal ppl would struggle with a stock 1k bike, not to mention a full blown Superbike!!
It would depend on some of the options you selected. It would not be hard to hit that higher value if we replicated a bike like this identically. This project had some additional expenses versus what it would cost today because we revised and updated things, having started it in 2020.
@@SuperbikeUnlimited I see and your builds are on another level!! Is there anyway you could give us a hint which team paddock in MotoAmerica you’ll be under this year??

162kg and 230hp will feel insane
My busa is 313hp and 230kg and that’s fast
That was crazy hearing the difference in maps. This video is so interesting. Thanks.

great video again Freddy, and SBU has great service
Nice bike 👌👌
Hope to see more about the R1 soon
Greetings from Belgium
Incredible.
I would love to see this bike fly on track. Hope you can make a video of it
Any modifications on adding the body kit to it or does it all fit the same
Trying to do “my part” in ordering whenever I can! I had you flash my 23 R6 ecu and was curious if turning off the immobilizer is possible?
Please email us about that one!

Literal dream bike 😍
It would be a dream to ride it not own it!!
What clips ons do they use
Impressive.
Awesome
rear swing arm is longer on WSBK and you have 48mm fork with shaft technology !
hey, just curious to know what are those little waves at the end of the hp graph
such a delight tech build 😍

What do you think was causing that dip at ~12k?
Wowww!! Who is racing this MotoAmerica?!
2000kms and done...ooooff...but absolute Dream nonetheless. Dont even wanna know the pricetag on this 😅
If you have a bike like that, you probably have a tech team to do the refresh on call.

Alpha is asking 140+k for the build. Pretty wild that is like an additional 90k over the stk race m bike they build
Id love to know what a build like this would cost...150k? Great work tho. Close to a wsbk u gonna get without going direct to motorrad or AR❤
❤
How much it costs the fairings ?
