Step one order trick new part you absolutely have to have. Step two be prepared to cut trim grind weld and mutilate it because it isn't ever going to simply bolt on. Rules of a race build. Bike is looking sweet
Love these build videos guys, it’s awesome to get to see how a fully blown superbike is built and seeing one on the dyno, being a massive wsbk fan, you don’t get to see this content from the superbike race teams, so it’s a great insight as to what’s involved, and you get to see all the trick parts close up. These videos are also good for inspiration and ideas. Keep up the good work, this s1000 build could be the best one yet! The zx10rr will take a lot of beating though, that’s thing is a beast!! Can’t wait for the final product! This channel is one of the best I’m following right now.

Having a nightmare as we speak with the adapter for OEM pump to Alpha racing tank :'( great video.. can you advised the putty used for the connector? Alpha didn't send me the adaption kit either so.. fun times! great videos keep them up!!
Love the bodywork! Your attention to detail is awesome just seems to drag a tiny bit sometimes, also you don't seem too excited at times lol just a small critique hope you're not upset! You have potential for amazing content but needs more entertainment even for a massive motorcycle nerd like me

This is the current generation platform, which is a big improvement over the former. That's likely the biggest reason.

Just curious, does the belly pan need to comply with regulations regarding catching oil? If so how does that work if you need to modify it, in this case by cutting the front out, or cutting the bottom to give exhaust clearance? I’m new to the channel and loving it so far. Thanks for the insight 👍
Yes, it needs to hold several quarts still, which it does. The original configuration has more to do with aerodynamics than overall capacity.

Will bmw release a race engine for the 2020 bmw s100rr like they did for the previous s1000rr with their 5.2 , 6.2 and 7.2 engines?

what potting compound is that?
Doesn't carbon fibre have an impact resistance of about zero, and a abrasive resistance of slightly more than zero?
It's served our program as well as teams in MotoGP, WSBK, BSB, MotoAmerica and even F1 very well for many years.
You should rename this channel 'PornSBKunlimited'.

Is the suspension still stock? We've done an FKR Fork Kit / TTX shock on the Superstock bike here, then full SBK components on the Superbike.
