You are so totally human. I'm so glad that you've explained how she looked, why it happened, and what to look for because before you started shaving? She looked totally fine. Thank you for sharing this. She looks good.
She's gorgeous! I'm a novice groomer - two months so far - with a brown abstract standard poodle named Orisa. I dream of doing a continental clip on her one day. I can't wait to see more of you and Jolie!
@@Memow-pk1ng I personally want the world load. I derive an immense amount of pleasure from brushing and grooming my girl. I want high maint clips for that reason. Line brushing, banding, hair sprays and all. In addition, I want to show one day. So learning how to do it and maintain it well is my end goal. Nothing wrong with modified. I'll try that to. But the show clip is my end game.
1:58 thank you so much for the detailed explanation! I plan on adding a mini-poodle to my family and want to do as much of the grooming as possible on my own. The waiting lists for groomers are incredibly long and I am able bodied enough. So I plan to do it myself
If you brush her out, wash her and then brush with a blower every time, matting shouldn’t happen, because you get all the way down to the skin with the brush and comb 🥰 but really beautiful girl you got, happy to see others that does it at home 😍
Lovely video ❤️. Couple pointers if you want to get a professional look: pom/bracelets should start two fingers above the point of the hock on the back and then the front should be level to the back of the back poms.
I groom my own too. I brush her a lot, plus keep her short in the summer. I am no groomer, but she looks good. Not into Pom Poms as we deal with snow in winter and mud in summer.
Thanks for showing this. How long did it take for her hair to become matted like this? Im wondering if a miss full brushing for a couple of days if this would happen?

Thanks! I think the Miami looks good too. She’s definitely feeling better after getting all that hair off!! 😁
