  • Muhammad Ali is one of the best boxers in the history of boxing. His career was full of various events, among which were both rapid rises and deafening falls. He was not as spectacular a knockout as Tyson, but he put a lot of tough guys on the floor of the ring in his career. Because Ali's boxing career consists practically of only victories, there are a lot of knockout victories among them as well. In this video, we've collected all of Muhammad's knockouts, from the very first to the most recent. So, sit back and watch until the end. At the same time, think about which knockout in Ali's career was the coolest.

It set him aside other heavyweights.

Ali had trained at deer lake to dance ,sting and move …3 months continuously training in this style but on the night against big George he couldn’t even manage 1 round bouncing on his toes because the pace big George set was too intense and ferocious….he had to modify and quickly and resting against the ropes absorbing big George’s punches was all he could manage ….l reckon big George lost this fight rather than Ali won it …Foreman at the time was 8:1 on to win and had battered 2 men who had recently beaten Ali , this bred arrogance in his own invincibility just like in Tyson when he fought buster Douglas in Tokyo….Foreman tried round after round to KO Ali and ended up being fatigued and was exhausted when Ali sensed this in round 8 …..a older , wiser big George needed another fight (against jimmy young) to realise that the fuel tank can run empty but it was a lesson Foreman learnt well after that ….

Watch that fight again. Every time Ali drew Foreman in he punished him with straight rights and lefts that snapped Foreman's head back and sent him backwards. Ali then waved him back in so he could punish him some more. The 8th round was just the culmination of total destruction of Foreman who always Said that was thankful for Ali Not throwing the last right hand, which was cocked and ready because it might have killed him.

Ali and his promoters were extremely corrupt.
Ali received automatic rematches after losing to Frazier, Norton and crack addict bum Leon spinks BECAUSE his camp literally controlled the heavyweight division back then.
But NO WAY would they secure an automatic rematch with foreman because they FEARED FOREMAN.

I finally got a chance to watch it decades later, here on YT . . You see, back in those days, you could only watch a fight like that by closed circuit TV[unless of course you could travel to Zaire etc.] I'd heard about the spectacular upset many times since, but watching the actual fight it appeared right from the start that it was to be a long night for Foreman. He was inexperienced and over-anxious to knock his opponent out by overpowering him. Frazier's style was made to order for Foreman; Ali's style and dazzling skill was his worst nightmare. For one thing, Ali had some . . defense? Yes, defense, something Frazier didn't seem to understand. And Ali, then, not later--was great at it. Foreman grew steadily tired and frustrated and then a patient Muhammad Ali knocked him out in the 8th. People just went nuts.

Ali stood up under it and showed, for sure, that he could take a punch. Ali won the fight but IMO that one punch was the blow that put the full stop on his brain after taking so many in the 2nd half of his career after doing nothing for 3 years between 1967 and 1970. 8 To 1 Underdog Foreman was 39 & 0 with 37 ko’s all of them ended before the second round was over before six minutes including to world champions.! Not just to champions all-time great fighters Ken Norton and Joe Frazier they were no like Tyson didn’t find any Ken Norton to Joe Frazier the whole time but he was fighting not and he surely didn’t find it at they think that Tyson does a bully he’s a Todd bully foreman is a natural bully stand 6 foot five and nobody can go to Rounds not Ken Norton not Joe Frazier and they were great fighters Tyson the guy that was from the Bahamas whatever that he thought that guy wasn’t a good Trevor Berbick he was not a good fighter he had all bad habits if you know anything about boxing with that he defended and self and he wasn’t a puncher and he wasn’t dangerous couldn’t even knock Muhammad Ali yup finale was shot to the win he tried but even though I’ll leave was close to 40 years old he could not come out so this guy wasn’t no big deal when he fight Tyson trust me. It’s Joe Frazier Ken Norton with a smoke those dudes that dude The father name Berbick. He was just an average Joe. To give you idea how good Ali was he not foreman Alden is prime when he was in his 30s already he was shot compared to what he would have been in the 1960s that guy in the 1960s could’ve beat anybody absolutely could’ve beat anybody because he didn’t get tired and I can throw punches every round lots of them they said he didn’t have a hard punch but when he fought list and he fought 29 times and stopped 27 people yeah he had a punch that was velocity. The Canadian that for him said you don’t know what it’s like I’ve never stood next to him standing up and when we got in the ring I went that is one big in it is what he said and he goes I never looked at him and he says I had to take a step back when I saw how big he really was when he got in the ring with me and it goes to speed. The speed of the punches when you don’t see the first punch and you can’t see the second third fourth fifth sixth seventh eighth punch what are how many he’s gonna throw at you yeah you’re blinded all that time because of his reach in the speech and they were powerful any time you get hit with four or five punches in the road it should be from a heavy weight it weighs 220 pounds and he could punch just didn’t show it

He generated public energy by injecting emotion, calling his opponent names, though almost always he later privatly honored his opponent, explaining his strategy (bigger payday dor both). What saddened me is his loss of speech (Parkinsons) that afflicts so many aging boxers. A brutal sport.

His knockout of George Foreman was his most impressive and iconic knockout. Because it was a return to form for Ali. By the time he fought Foreman he was past his prime and his hand speed and foot speed was not what it once was. He knew he couldn’t match Foreman punch for punch because Foreman was way too strong and his punching power was ridiculous. So Ali hung back on the ropes and let Foreman punch himself out by the end of the 7th round Foreman was completely exhausted. Then Ali saw his chance in the 8th and lowered the boom with a gorgeous three punch combo and dropped Foreman to once again become champion. That knockout will always be etched into my brain as the greatest knockout not just of Ali’s career but of all time in my opinion because nobody saw it coming.

Of course the KO of Foreman must hold the top spot, for brilliance of performance, but also the spectacle of so seemingly invincible an opponent on his way to the canvas. However my personal favorite is actually the Cleveland Williams bout; although the decision recorded was a TKO, he had knocked the man down prior to the stoppage, and the combinations with which he felled the man are the most compelling argument against the perception that he was not among the hardest punching heavyweights. This misconception, that he traded power for speed and accuracy, was never so unconvincing a notion as it is throughout that bout.

Watching Ali style of boxing is amazing to see . He had an amazing record and career as well. I don't like watching these violent sports much But there is something about his ability to anticipate which arm his opponent was going to swing and how quickly his reflexes are to avoid their punches . He seems to allow his opponent to believe they have the upper hand in the beginning but actually saving and spreading out his energy as most will start strong and tire themselves out and ended weak only to receive a serious beat down in round 4, 6 and 7 Ali is punch punch move he has advantage on his reach then his opponents as well. When he said the person who could beat wasn't born yet made me think of Mike Tyson. Because watching Mike Tyson fights are quite frightening. He is someone others should seriously reconsider stepping in the ring with. His blows are with such force and power. Sometimes watching him deliver blows to his opponents its like i can feel the aftershock from the earthquake that happened 1,000 of miles away. While I'm always anticipating witnessing a violent catastrophic implosion to occurr. He would be the definition of what a beast is and biggest nightmare. To imagine Ali and Tyson in a match would have been the match of the century possibly millennium and impossible to decide who would win during their prime years.

He cleared up the confusion by saying all he did was make the lip of the glove face outwards, not inwards because it didn't look like the glove had been cut even though it had, so he wanted to bring it to the attention of the referee. Dundee did not create the cut, he didn't even worsen it, he just made it visible. And the round was not delayed by 3 minutes but by a mere 6 seconds
