Hi Takko. May I ask how you came up with the dimensions for the thicker 'ring' that we see you pick up @1:00 please?

Take good measurements and make a drawing while doing that

@@tamaelchAhh, so you already had one to measure? I'm not in that same boat, unfortunately, as I've received none of those parts.

How did you decide on clearance values? I'm thinking about the thickness of plate vs height of arbor slot and the diameter of the plate cutout vs diameter of arbor slot.

Great video! I have the B2508, and I dont know if i can convert it to a drill / mill. It has a male hexagonal drive arbor. I do not know why, or how i can use tools with it

    Nice modification!
Have you made it on your own?
Do you have any drawings or manuals?
    Thank you.

I Have a Arboga U2508 and doesent have a chuck collor to it, im a beginner in lathe and milling and it is probably impossible for me to make this parts..=)
I wonder if it is possible for me to buy a set of this collar chuck, if you can make one for me?
    I live in Umea Sweden.
    Regards Doger

      Hello Doger Karlström
If i had time i would do that for you.
I'am realy bussy at work and time for myself is precious.
I hope you find an other way to purchase a spindle nut so you can take the full benefit of the machine.
And belive me, its realy not that hard to make it yourself.
It is a greate opportunity to upgrade your skills. All you need is a lathe that has the capabilitie of thread cutting.
The spindle nose is a m62x1.25 metric thread.
